Argentina with 'Vaca Muerta' won the 'geological lottery': 305 meters-thick shale oil and gas
Argentina has won the “geological lottery” with its 305 meters-thick Vaca Muerta shale oil and gas field in Patagonia, a spokesman for Chevron said on Thursday, as the U.S. energy giant increases its investments in the country. The company and state-owned oil firm YPF announced plans last month to invest an additional 1.6 billion to develop Vaca Muerta. Read full article

I mean if you want to stretch history like that, then it cuts both ways.
To state the Task Force brought elections to Argentina is a disgusting insult that is typical of the British. To spit on many Argentines who died during that time and who ultimately brought the military to take desperate measures. The Falklands Invasion was not what caused the fall of the junta, it was the FALLING Junta that caused the war, to prevent the writing on the wall!!!
But you cannot comprehend that given your blind British jingoism. The British jump out of their seats to take credit for all the “good” in the word they claim to trace to their actions, but completely and uncouthly dismiss all the bad... from Palestine to the Partition of India, to Africa... all the ills occurring in those places now are the British fault, but that you won't take credit for eh?

Oh yes, and we take credit where it's due. WE won WW2. Not the Russians, who kept whining for more supplies via the Arctic convoys and for a “Second Front”. And what were the Russians really doing? They were grabbing countries for themselves. Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary and more. What did the Brits and yanks do? They gave the countries they crossed back to the people of those countries. And the yanks didn't win the war either. They only turned up after THREE years. Then they had to be taught how to fight. No yanks could do anything without their chewing gum, comics and ice cream. And where were the argies? Cowering and sucking up to Hitler. And who used the war to try to steal British territory? And who gave all the Nazi war criminals sanctuary? Interesting to see the difference. The Brits gave the Jewish people their homeland back. Argies protected murderers and war criminals. Typical argies. Cowards, thieves and murderers. We can also see the total lack of morals. Palestine? No such country. Palestinians? No such people. Just thieving arabs. They must really chime with argies. Here's some TRUTH. The illegitimate argie “claim” to the Falkland Islands is based on a few weeks (at best) “occupation”. The period between Mestivier landing to establish a penal colony and the day he was murdered. 10 October 1832 to 30 November 1832. Seven weeks. Doesn't really compare to the 86 years Britain had already been there. Point your finger where it should be pointed. At the genocides, the murderers, the rapists, the thieves, the liars, the deviants, the degenerates. The argies.
Now all they need to do is win a lottery to get it out of the ground.
