Remembering the fallen from both sides - well done!
The fact that during their sabre-rattling propaganda CFK et al are so blind to even acknowledge the fallen from the British Task Force or the devastation caused to civilian life from the invasion is the prime example of their stupidity and ignorance of the truth and reality.
I hope their bubble bursts soon and we can some mutually beneficial relationship as mentioned by Swire.
Expect there w a looooooooooooooooooooooooong wait to hear about identification of the fallen - Arg might have a little wee problem in communicating to a Govt it claims does not exist etc etc!
I am confident that Chicken or pasta would have been formally invited and equally confident that she would have needed a quick change of underwear when she read it.
There is NO chance of her EVER attending a UK Government arranged Falklands meeting for any reason.
If Gollum runs away why would the Trolley Dolly be any different?
It would be funny if it wasn’t so tragic. Despicable people those in the government of The Dark Country.
At the end of the evening, I think that they should , in the spirit of reconciliation, have raised a salute to Argentina. I think index and middle fingers held 45 ° apart and moved in a salutary motion in the vertical would be suitable on this occasion.
Nice speech and what are they going to do about i, what response can we expect?
Well I have rather a unique idea.
Why don't they build a museum to prove their sovereingty.
better stil lwhy not print a book with all their unsubstantiated declerations of neophtic support.
Better, by far better still, why not and this is good, listen to this, GIVE THEM AWAY!
Oh man, I am on fire! they should employ me.
This, this is what passes for politics in the Argentine?
Shite! it's hardly suprising they are fucked up under achievers!
Someone needs to remind again of how big they are? what resources they have? their previous giant econ0mic history? their historic contribution to democracy? their contribution to science, art and world literature?
Sorry I can't type anymore I am laughing so much, I desperately need a piss!
The Falkland Islands and the UK set a great example to the sick Chavistas currently destroying the beautiful land of 'little Venice', that land of huge potential, Venezuela.
Why is Mercopress NOT reporting on the chaos in Venezuela?
People are dying.
The Government is massively corrupt.
There is critical insecurity and constant danger in the streets.
A critical lack of medicine.
The World’s highest Inflation Rate.
A critical lack of basic goods and services.
An ideological take-over leading to a Vene-Cuban form of enforced indentured state-dependency.
Widespread media censorship.
Constant repression of political opposition.
THOUSANDS illegally jailed without trial.
Daily torture and abuse of the Human Rights of the population.
Why does Latin America remain silent?
Why is Mercopress NOT reporting on the chaos in Venezuela?
@12 Ilsen, the governments of most Latin-American countries will never condemn MADuro, nor criticize the a.hole, as deep down they too believe that democracy should be crushed by government violence . Their objectives are similar, dictatorships (officially) for the proletariat, but that are nothing more than a way to get rich and screw the people into total submission. Brazil is a good example of that, being that Dilma just recently (a few days ago) signed a Decree-Law (written by and with the full support of her party, the PT) which basically removes certain powers from Congress, reduces others, and transfers much decision making to local councils presided by social movements (very vague and undefined what this means, but it'll mean whatever they want it to)...in other words, an attempt to perpetuate themselves in power - through the so-called 'social-movements' , to create their own type of democracy (Cuban style) , to silence the press and to shut up the opposition.
Thank God that Congress has reacted (all except the PT) against this, and have said that they will block every single proposal presented to the House and Senate until the Government revokes the Decree, and agrees that any such wide-sweeping initiatives MUST first undergo public discussion and then be submitted to Congress, so that the exact implications are crystal-clear... I hope that this is seen as a warning to those who are still too naive to see through the PT's real agenda, which is to transform Brazil into another Cuba, with the PT being the all-powerful rulers.
The Feds and the PT are losing popularity and they know it....the reasons are multiple, the people are protesting their generalized insatisfaction, but not focusing too well on the the specific problems....in view of this, the PT feel they need to start rushing their agenda, to try to implement their policies before they fall out of favour completely....it's as they say here, ”it's time to get scared when the (rising) water starts wetting your ass” ...
