The morons from The Dark Country have just blocked the bridge again in solidarity with the environment.
I think they mean all the solid turds coming out of their river, opposite to the pulp mill.
Why don't they publish the pollution resutls from THEIR side of the river: ha, ha, ha.
Uruguay wants a bigger bite - just like Suárez!

Be serious @ 3 - agree with you entirely - footy IS a game for girlies. Rugby is the game for men!
Jun 25th, 2014 - 07:24 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Supposed pollution of the river by UPM has been consistently monitored by a joint commission. Argentina has not allowed the results to be published. They have also been allowed access to the plant which is on Uruguayan territory.
Jun 25th, 2014 - 10:12 pm - Link - Report abuse 0The Uruguayan govt should now publish these figures unilaterally, including the figures for pollution from Gualeguaychu.
Argentina has announced a diplomatic offensive against a fellow Mercosur country completely in contrary to both the letter and spirit of the Treaty of Asuncion. Isn't it about time Uruguay took Argentina to the ICJ over the continual infringements of almost all treaties and agreements which Argentina has entered into and broken?

Jun 26th, 2014 - 02:40 am - Link - Report abuse 0For all the protestations of Uruguayans that you are oh so different from us argies, the Luis Suarez debacle has proven you suffer from the same delusions as us.
I mean it is clearly and blatantly obvious on the images what Suarez did. But beyond that, he has already done what appears to take place in the video TWICE before. I mean come on!!
Yet the Uruguayans are claiming there is a world conspiracy against them, that everyone and their mother (and of course specially us argies) is jealous of them, that the foreign media is fanning the flames, and that the whole affair has been concocted and invented.
Really?
Whom does that remind you off?
The fact you Uruguayans are defending this and blaming everyone else??
hahahahaha... but here unlike with us, there is definitive video evidence. And you still defend it!
PATHETIC.

Jun 26th, 2014 - 03:47 am - Link - Report abuse 0I've always wondered why the Uruguayan gov't hasn't yet published those figures unilaterally. Any theories?
Trolita @ 6
Aren't you being a little muddle-headed? Can't you comprehend the difference betweeen a football player and a polluted river? Or the difference between a prosperous BOT and impoverished Argentine territory?
