CFK admits having to pay 300% profit on holdouts’ dollars, but never 1.680% as pretended
Argentine President Cristina Fernández rejected on Wednesday the possibility of a new default during the UNASUR-BRICS meeting in Brasilia, highlighting Argentina is going to “keep on paying and honoring its debt,” while asking for support against the “so called vulture funds,” who are “pretending to collapse the Argentine debt restructuring.” Read full article

the RUFO clause: wrong! if you are forced to pay by a court you can pay the holdouts without paying those who took part in the swaps. you know that very well but you tell bullshit as usual.

Argentina is the most crooked, corrupt country on the planet. They lie about the inflation rate to screw over bond holders, screwed Repsol, just awful. Funny thing is todays “investor” is tomorrows “vulture” when one wants a profit from the investment they made. I am sure they will default and change the terms to Argentine law, and issue pesos (or toilet paper, same thing)...

So CFK will probably default if it means avoiding criminal charges. Remember Cavallo and De La Rua are still in legal trouble for the Megacanje from 2001 (though I don't think they will end up in jail).
