Argentine President Cristina Fernández rejected on Wednesday the possibility of a new default during the UNASUR-BRICS meeting in Brasilia, highlighting Argentina is going to “keep on paying and honoring its debt,” while asking for support against the “so called vulture funds,” who are “pretending to collapse the Argentine debt restructuring.” Read full article

    yes, “you so called crook”!
pay your debt and don´t cry.

the RUFO clause: wrong! if you are forced to pay by a court you can pay the holdouts without paying those who took part in the swaps. you know that very well but you tell bullshit as usual.

They are threatening to force Chevron out of the Vaca Muerta shale oil field..“ Yes! first pay your debts and than think of investments.

“Holdouts are attacking Argentina..” - holdouts attack argentine governmental crooks who don´t pay their debts!

That is something she can't lie about.

#3 Well there's nothing new coming from the vultures either!
They bought the debt knowing fair well it would be hard to get Argentina to pay and now are crying about it.

    4. They aren't crying. They're merely pointing out that Argentina is too afraid to sit down and talk with them.

They've already won. They have the long arms and power of the USA behind them.

    You have nothing but lies.

The hedge funds can buy up even more debt at a cheap price when they default again.

Hmmm, mayhap one ſpeaks too ſoon. However, while remaining most dispaſſionate and retaining ones objectivity, one foreſees an emerging unexpected ending to this drama. What it is I do not yet know.
I've been around long enough - this one ends with a twiſt in the tale.

Argentina is the most crooked, corrupt country on the planet. They lie about the inflation rate to screw over bond holders, screwed Repsol, just awful. Funny thing is todays “investor” is tomorrows “vulture” when one wants a profit from the investment they made. I am sure they will default and change the terms to Argentine law, and issue pesos (or toilet paper, same thing)...

I think you just nailed the pinnacle definition of hyperinflation: The day that a roll of toilet paper cost the same or larger quantity of paper in money as you get in toilet paper...

@5 Apparently someone found out why the gov't is so afraid to talk with the holdouts and make a deal:
“There is another threat, too: criminal charges. Triggering the RUFO would have the effect of increasing Argentina’s debt burden, which could open [government] officials up to malpractice suits. “The market has been optimistic about a negotiated solution, which is logical. There is so much upside to solving this, and so much downside to defaulting,” says Mr Etchebarne. “But what the market is not taking into consideration is that if the RUFO clause is triggered, whatever government officials worked on this deal will face years of criminal trials.””

So CFK will probably default if it means avoiding criminal charges. Remember Cavallo and De La Rua are still in legal trouble for the Megacanje from 2001 (though I don't think they will end up in jail).

Hi, “鼻孔” - translated to “Nostril”.

Oh, wait - I expect you're embarrassed by your humiliating football loss, and your national economic Default.

    I'm not surprised

##22 Mr Chin what dialect do you speak?....nevermind.

So now that Honk Konk is no longer under Britain's rule of democracy, HK wants more freedom. Why do you easterners repress HK?

Why do you restrict freedom of speech?

Why do you only allow one political party?

Why is it illegal to question the government?

Why does the government persecute those who believe in God?

Why is there so much violence against women in China?

What's the deal with the Dali Lama....afraid of one man?

Why are you afraid of a market trade currency?

Go back to the east and some deep fwied wice and kitty kat.......and dog. Speaking of dog still high on demand for the dinner table?

Oh, Nostrils - shut up !!

You made a mistake with google translate.

    “孔” is Chinese for “ hole ”.

The word you are looking for, to make your sentence correct, is “whole”.

You must have spelt it wrong when you used google.

As they say with data and computers,
    “garbage in, garbage out.”

How's the dim sum in Mendoza ??
