First woman commander of a Royal Navy warship removed for alleged breach of social conduct code
The first female commander of a major Royal Navy warship is understood to have left her vessel after allegations of an affair with one of her officers. Cdr Sarah West, 42, was coming to the end of a seven-month deployment in the Atlantic on board the Type 23 frigate HMS Portland. Read full article

Actually Ilsen, I agree with Thinks suggestion but not the way he put it. There is such a thing as a 24hr posting for the rank and file for serious misdamenors or risk a courts martial. I am a former member of the RAF and when I was at Wittering the Group Captain (CO) got the equivalent for being caught with a JNCO's wife whilst hubby was on exercise, so it does happen.

If she was breaking Regs, it was a bloody silly career move, because as the first female captain of a ship she was probably marked for bigger things in the admiralty, probably flag rank.
Have to wait and see the outcome of the enquiry.
As a father of daughters, I am disappointed in at her lack of judgement.
