Jul 29th, 2014 - 07:31 am - Link - Report abuse 0In a case like this, we surely could use the expertise of former RN Cdr DoveoverDover...
I seem to remember him mentioning some degree of experience with the erotic appetites of his Fellow Feminine Officers...
Nothing improper seems to have taken place in this consensual hetreosexual fling....
Unless......., of course......., if the man in question was from the Lower Decks ;-)))

But for God's sake Captain(of the ship), keep it discreet.
This happens all the time, it always has and always will. However to think that eyes right will not be upon as the first.......wtf was she thinking?

Wait until they finish the investigation before you condemn her.
@13. Indeed. Wonder which member of the ship's company thought they saw an opportunity to have a pop?

Jul 29th, 2014 - 10:56 am - Link - Report abuse 0I will wait and see what unfurls here.
Actually Ilsen, I agree with Thinks suggestion but not the way he put it. There is such a thing as a 24hr posting for the rank and file for serious misdamenors or risk a courts martial. I am a former member of the RAF and when I was at Wittering the Group Captain (CO) got the equivalent for being caught with a JNCO's wife whilst hubby was on exercise, so it does happen.
Jul 29th, 2014 - 11:15 am - Link - Report abuse 0True.
Jul 29th, 2014 - 11:53 am - Link - Report abuse 0Innocent until proven guilty.
If she was breaking Regs, it was a bloody silly career move, because as the first female captain of a ship she was probably marked for bigger things in the admiralty, probably flag rank.
Have to wait and see the outcome of the enquiry.
As a father of daughters, I am disappointed in at her lack of judgement.

Jul 29th, 2014 - 02:52 pm - Link - Report abuse 0She should have just gone down to the engine room and sat on one of the engines for a while.
Captain to .... bridge ... full.... full speed aheeeeead.
Agree wholeheartedly reality but under military law it's guilty till proven innocent
