The Duke of Cambridge is to become an air ambulance pilot next spring, it has been announced. Kensington Palace said Prince William will join the East Anglian Air Ambulance flying both day and night shifts. It will become his main job, but his rota will take into account any duties he will continue to undertake on behalf of the Queen. Read full article

His other expenses for duties pertaining to HRH role are met by the Civil List. If the British felt he was a parasite they would elect a government to have them deposed. However that doesn't seem very likely at present.

If there are any Argentine C-130s still airworthy they would be requisitioned to supply his lunch, when the airline he runs doesn't work. He provides employment for Argentines as it takes 5 cooks to cook all his food-and several to load it onto the conveyor belt that runs straight to his cake hole.
He is still waiting for mummy to buy a C17 into which an earthmoving vehicle would attempt to force him into (for avoidance of doubt that would be through the back end with the ramp down not the pilot's access door). As for Prince William, he is still flying a yellow helicopter which still gives the Argentines nightmares.

Aug 10th, 2014 - 10:19 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Prince Harry already knows how to play Polo at the highest possible level in the world: the UK.
The ONLY thing he could learn from The Dark Country is how to spot all the cheating, doping (and that includes the dope riding the horse) and swearing in argie gibberish.
As for the ‘girls’ he clearly has the edge over ANY small dicked, no testicled argie ‘man’ you have in the cesspit, especially you.
Of course ALL the young UK women want him as do all the young USA girls he has met and as for Australia: did you see the many NAKED girls with just paper banners hiding the best bits saying 'marry ME Harry' who were lining the roads as he passed? And who could blame them?
Clearly your penis envy rivals only your envy of Britain but don’t worry we don’t have the likes of unemployed argies with little ‘brains’ such as you.

Of course, that leaves unskilled underemployed males like Nostrils and other niños, to play football and march in endless political rallies for corrupt politicos.
Never going to have a meaningful job or career for the next generation or two.
Not much to offer a prospective wife, and competition will be far more.
If Karma has a sense of Justice, Crying Niño and Nostrils, will marry jealous bitter, lazy women, just like themselves.

Now elephant polo is a real man's sport.
Why you should never make an elephant angry. Adelaide Now via Daily Mail. February 16, 2007. Retrieved 2011-03-21. The four-tonne, 2.8m pachyderm threw off his mahout and U.S. rider as the island's sixth annual elephant polo tournament got under way, rampaging off the pitch and attacking the Spanish team's minibus.
Even elephants are none to keen on Spanish speakers !
Considering the elephant is not an indigenous mammal in Scotland, we do rather well in this sport.
Best football ? Who won the World cup ....it wasn't Argentina !
Best food and wine ? I think France would come up with that title.
Best countryside ? A subjective opinion.
Women ? Again a subjective opinion.
Again your term losers is completely subjective. By ALL international standards, Argentina has to be considered losers, if you wish to use that pejorative term. It must take organising geniuses to bring your country to it's knees with all the advantages you have with it's abundant natural resources. In contrast, you have a group of islands set in a hostile sea who are doing quite nicely thank you without the benefit of being lumped with a failed state.
As to your obsession with the UK Royal family, why is this ?
Is it because that they are popular world wide and this sticks in your petty minded jealous craw. Just imagine, there may actually be some Argentinian women who fancy them instead of fat Max !!!!!!!!!

where the f*ck did you read that?
Britain: The most indebted nation on Earth
A trillion and a half is such a big a number that most people probably wouldn't even try getting their heads around it.
But that is the total level of personal debt owed by the 50 million or so British adults. Per head of population, it qualifies us for the dubious honour of the most indebted nation on earth.
#49
Aug 11th, 2014 - 03:02 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Jesus, you are a broken record.
Firstly, the UK is not the most indebted nation on Earth - by no metric is that true as I have demonstrated before. Find me some evidence to show otherwise. Find one metric where that is true!
Secondly, the UK has not defaulted on its sovereign debt since 1932. The default in 1932 was direct consequence of World War I including Germany's failure to continue reparations in 1932.
Being in debt, is not the same as not paying your debts. I'm in debt to my bank for about £100,000, however, I make regular repayments (which include paying the interest on my loan) at the rate agreed by my bank - my bank seems very happy with me (I suppose they're making a lot of money off me). Moreover, my assets far exceed this debt.

Between 1990 and 2007 the UK public debt (as a fraction of GDP) was virtually flat. It was only because of the recent economic crisis that the deficit grew to unsustainable levels. The deficit is now reducing and is largely on track.

Aug 12th, 2014 - 01:37 pm - Link - Report abuse 0According to your brief, ignorance is anyone not agreeing with you, no matter how skewed you are with your opinions -NOTE OPINIONS, NOT FACTS.
I could counter your statements if I had 30,000 characters at my disposal but I don't.
I agree that Latam. sycophants agree with Argentina even if it went to the ICJ and they ruled in the UK's favour, they would STILL agree for their own twisted reasons.
Spain would as well as Italy because of cultural ties.
Russia has it's own agenda nothing to do with S.A. but to get back at Britain.
The USA has said that it is neutral BUT they would support talks.
As for France, your ref. is a report in a French web site about LATAM support for Argentina -NOT FRENCH SUPPORT FOR ARGENTINA.
Could you maybe furnish PROOF-not your opinion- of a list of Asian, Arab, African and European countries who have declared that sovereignty of the Falklands is Argentinian as opposed to that they support talks on this subject.
On the subject of invasion, remember that your defence minister stated that it was only the UK presence in the Falklands that prevented Argentina taking them......is that not war-mongering ?
Isolde bitter and war-mongering ? She was taking the piss as you well know. To think that the Islanders could invade Argentina is laughable .. ...note lol after her post.

Aug 12th, 2014 - 06:08 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Where did it say in your ref. that France supported Argentina's claim for sovereignty ? Did Obama say that the USA supported ARGENTINA'S sovereignty claim OR did he say he supported talks on the issue !
Do you understand the concept of PROOF? It would appear not.
You are making a broad assertion that the whole world agrees that the Falklands belong to Argentina so it is up to you to supply the PROOF that this is the case. Not that the countries support joint discussions on the subject but that they actually say that Argentina has sovereignty..

It supports T-A-L-K-S to solve the issue -not Argentina's fabricated claim. You really need a crash course in the use of the English language.

Aug 13th, 2014 - 12:19 pm - Link - Report abuse 0What is the harm in allowing the elected government of the Falkland Islands representation in any discussion between Argentina and the UK? This just makes Argentina seem pathetically evasive, as if they were trying to use any excuse to stop discussions taking place or downplay the existence of the Islanders and their rights.
“The bottom line is, the Falklands do NOT belong to Argentina and until the sun rises in the west, they never will.”
Is the opinion of a single poster on this website. FFS you have it written in your fucking constitution that the Islands belong to you, hypocrite. HM government takes the view that the future sovereignty of the Falkland Islands should be decided by the Islanders themselves.

Aug 13th, 2014 - 04:43 pm - Link - Report abuse 0It's perfectly easy to understand Argentina's call for negotiations.
Their idea of negotiations is founded on the premise that they have sovereignty of the islands. It has been written into their constitution.
So, their idea of negotiations are when are you going to hand over the islands..
You want something from Britain so you have to accept OUR conditions for talks. Britain says they must be tripartite, these are our conditions,
but Argentina refuses to talk. You are the ones who are desperate for talks but pretend that the islanders do not exist nor should have any say in their own future.
What Argentina wants and what they MAY get are two different things.
Man up and start talking with the people who have lived there since the 1800's - before your country existed and probably before your forebears even set foot in S.A.-unless you are of Aboriginal descent.
If the Islanders wish to have some association or join with Argentina then the UK govt. will OK this. However, your treatment of them , I imagine, would totally preclude this. You yourself continually belittle them, insult them and treat them with disdain. Hardly the way to win their support for integration.
One easy way out is for the Falklands to declare independence and have a defence treaty with the UK. That should solve the decolonisation committee's problem.
Do you still maintain that the G77 declaration acknowledges Argentina's sovereignty OR that it just requests that talks begin in line with UN declarations ?
I am glad you find me a joke and that I have brightened your otherwise miserable day.
I have no particular opinion on you as you don't matter in the great scheme of things.

Aug 14th, 2014 - 03:28 am - Link - Report abuse 0Have the Falklands take to Argentina to ICJ for harresment
it would have 2 ramifications
since ICJ only handles disputes between states then the fact that they would hear the case insinuates that they recognize FI as a State
secondly - according to all the evidence the FI would win the case and then assuming Argentina accepts the verdict (Doubtful) then maybe just maybe they will leave the FI on their own and concentrate on their more pressing problems
just a thought

Aug 15th, 2014 - 07:39 am - Link - Report abuse 0Their opinion does matter, it's enshrined in UNGA resolutions and the charter. The uk is only an administering power, it doesn't actually own the falklands the falklanders do.
Also the remit of the c24 is supposed to assist the falklanders in being decolonised but your beloved country has completely derailed and hijacked that process so no movement can be made.
Actually the uk government is giving you an opportunity or avenue to attempt to persuade the falkanders directly, to change their mind if they want to, or put it another way a route for negotiations but you choose not to.
All negotiations are based on trust, post 1982 you lost all of that so your not in a position to demand who goes what, where, when or why
If the end game of Argentina is the falklands then surely it makes sense to talk to the people who live their as human beings?
But if you class the legitimate people of the falklands as sub human why do you think that they will have nothing to do with Argentina?

Aug 15th, 2014 - 07:50 am - Link - Report abuse 0No answer, what a surprise. Coward.
The oil development will up the stakes. The small population of Falkland islanders already have the highest standard and quality of life (thanks to their British origins) in South America. Oil may see them strutting about like pampered Saudis without having to work for their squillions. But British hubris may encourage then to drill outside and beyond what other nations in South America find acceptable. The delegitimisation of British rule may accelerate in world opinion. The Chinese and Russia already siding with Argentina.

Aug 16th, 2014 - 12:46 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I asked, if you could be bothered to read, what makes the Falkland Islanders squatters compared to the Argentine's who stole (through murder) and colonised Patagonia.
Having never been to the Islands I can not attest to their standard of living. considering your individual points, however, it seems they have free access to further and higher education in the UK. I should note that the UK has 6 universities in the top 50 of Shanghai Academic Ranking of World Universities 2014. We are surpassed only by the US (with Argentina's highest entry at between 151-200). Moreover, they also appear to have free access to healthcare locally, and in Chile and the UK for more advanced needs - no community of 3000 people in the world has a CT scanner or NMRI (nuclear magnetic resonance imaging NMRI NOT magnetic resonator).
I am no brainwashed islander (for two reasons). However, you continue to come across both as brainwashed, insecure, and extremely jealous of the Islanders. Even if they were stolen from a nascent Argentine state (they weren't) you have no right to the Islands 180 years later - I honestly can not understand your delusions and hypocrisy.
I can only imagine such hatred and vitriol is the product of some life event. I'm sorry if someone you loved was taken away from you because of your country's imperialistic desires.

Aug 16th, 2014 - 02:07 pm - Link - Report abuse 0There you go again with your brainwashed view, despite evidence to contrary. Can you give us a reference for the short life expectancy of the Falkland Islanders?
It's very obvious that the Islanders have access to better education than you. For christ's sake you teach your primary school kids that the Falkland Islands belong to Argentina without any recognition of the other side.
Face it,
- The ICJ (the only body that could go against the Islanders' will) is not going to give you the Falklands, especially since Argentina hasn't even submitted its ”undeniable (rights)” claim in the more than 60 years the court has existed. This very fact suggests that your government has either no interest in the obtaining the Islands (presumably so it can be rolled out as a propaganda tool when times are tough) or KNOWS that its claim is as weak as we all know it is.
- You are not going to convince, or even bully, the Islanders anytime soon its in their interest to accept Argentine sovereignty - not for all the nMRI scanners in the world. As far as I can tell they share that mentality with the rest of the British.
- For a similar reason you are not going to convince the UK to give you the islands.
- Your entire armed forces are decrepit and no match for our 4! fighters and few hundred combat troops and little patrol boat (and its occasional big brother).
No matter how much you whine to the rest of the world (and get support from murderous dictatorships), for these reasons you will never have the Falklands.
Just for laughs though... how do you think you will get the Islands? I don't really expect a response as I know you're too much of a coward.
