I was in Ecuador recently and loved it. Definitely going to have to spend more time there. Guayaquil is like Miami but better!

I remember the guards at the Chinese restaurant in Quito one with a machine pistol, the other with a pump action shotgun - nice! And…. Tbe cards with special expensive stamps posted from the Galapogas and which never arrived… The local Indians were charming though.

I lived in GYE for many years and my family and I enjoyed it immensely. BUT, GYE better than MIA - really! You must have been on something to come to that conclusion!
