A new study has found that every step counts – literally – towards reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease. Heart healthy exercise, moreover, need not be either time-consuming or tiring. Scientists at Iowa State University found that running for just seven minutes daily, even at slow speeds, could help reduce the risk of dying from heart disease by up to 50%. Read full article

Aug 11th, 2014 - 01:05 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Presumably you die on the theatre table while they are replacing the joints damaged by running.
Why is this even on MP?
But nothing about the damage done to the knee joints.

the problem for knees and other joints is overweight, you fatboy.
you know, like the effect of overload in a concrete structure.

Aug 11th, 2014 - 11:23 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Your quantity of words is inverse to your quality. You're so busy running around trying to make everyone look bad that all you do is reflect badly on yourself and by extension you own country.
You are a true product of the current Argentine education system that is now used purely to propagate Kirchnerism's twisted worldview and not actually arm students with any useable abilities.
Knee joint problems from running are about IMPACT. While a fat person running has higher impact, by logic the more they run the less fat they will become and therefore the less impact they will have.
So body weight will only be one if the factors that cause the problem. Time is the main cause. The more you run the more impact. Fat people can't run as far or as much as elite athletes.
Hence this: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22130474
Call me all the names you want, it still won't get you a job nor make you sound any more intelligent or coherent. You might claim to hate Kirchnerism, but you are just too plain incompetent to realise that your attitudes and actions have been shaped by it and are unable to shake off the conditioning.
Intense Cycling....same cardiovascular work without the impact....

Doctor. Do take Polly away it's time for him to scratch himself and have his beak sharpened. Bashing his head on the floor has done him no good. He is talking crazy again
Nurse replies: Shall I put his cover over to keep him in the dark.
Answer: No, TMBOA keeps the entire country in the dark.
