Following the Argentine government’s proposal to change the debt’s payment 'location' (jurisdiction) from New York to Buenos Aires, the US dollar closed on Wednesday three cents up to 8.33 pesos in banks and exchange offices of the City, while the “blue” rate added a massive 35 cents to trade at 13.55 pesos, a new record. 14, 15, 16, 17...... other than some minor drops here and there (which were cheered and announced by posters such as Think and his other brainwashed compatriots) the only way is up.

I won't predict when but it will hit 20. It is inevitable because the government's policies are pushing it in only one direction.

Just wait until BCRA's float runs dry. It won't be long now. The only think backing up the Peso is the “full faith and credit” of Argentina. What's that worth?

It would not surprise me if TMBOA sought to outlaw the Blue Dollar and clones completely just to hide the real problem from the 'people'.

It will just go underground of course and climb even faster.

Things must be chaotic if you work in the finance markets, but it is funny to sit by and watch them all squirming and being frightful of what to do.

The answer is simple: just do it, if only for the “Motherfuckerland”!

Too bad you cannot buy dollars in Argentina .....you can make a killing. Buy for 8.50 and sell at 13.40. It's almost impossible to get dollars again.

They will be nationalizing foreign banks soon.

I know some die hard CFK supporters who defend and support absolutely everything she says, no matter how ridiculous. They also deny vehemently that the central bank is printing pesos to the tune of 40% a year and that all the social programmes are paid by good financial management, this despite the figures from BCRA being publicly available. They do however only save in USD and when confronted as to why they don't agree with CFK who says “He who invests in dollars loses”, they quickly change the subject.

Its funny when it comes down to ones own money vs ones own politics how the money wins and the politics is conveniently ignored to suit oneself.
