This bunch of craven, cowardly cretins that we call our 'politicians' are a little late at attempting to woo the numbnuts in Scotland to stay with the Union.

Who GAF anyway? I am fed up with all the stupid SNP spouting obvious lies which the Scots seem to want to believe so cast them loose is my vote: you know, the one that the English didn't get.

You cannot bribe a people who does not want to stay,
no one should ever be bribed or paid for their loyalty,

And one should never ever give more to one than the others, its divided fairly or not at all,
these 3 unwise monkeys have fxcked it all up, and it wont work,

if you give to one, you must give to the others, we are either British united,
or we are ununited and fall we will,

    one more day to go,
and with all this Free advice and information Scots are receiving, rightly or wrongly ,
they had better choose very carefully.

we all have opinions, and I think they will stay.
    and salmon will cry foul....

Salmond can say what he wants after the vote, the nationalists up there are nothing but thugs. My entire view if those people has changed and I want nothing to with them regardless of the result. The English people have their political champion Nigel Farage, he will ensure the English are treated fairly when all this mess has come to an end.
The Scots brought this on themselves when they voted in a nationalist party to lead them and look at what they have done. There will be many people who vote no tomorrow that voted that fat toad into power.

At the start of the campaign I was 100% behind Scotland remaining in the union but as the campaign progresses a lot of the thing said and done by the YES campaign has led me to have severe doubts.

I am reasonably sure that a lot of other a English people share my views.

It's funny to see all the anti-Scottish comments in full flow....
..even though according to the polls more than half of Scots are backing the Union...
    Isn't that technically the majority....?
...get a grip and stop embarrassing yourselves...

I think that the Scots should say YES, and the day after independance the English Army invades Scotland and then uses them as modern day slaves. What do you think? good idea or not.

What's so funny, Think? The only person embarrassing themselves, as per usual is your self. Some of us have followed the independence debate very carefully and to point out that some of the tactics and some of the things said and done by Scottish nationalists is in no way anti Scottish in full flow. I suggest you take your own advice and stop embarrassing YOUR self.

When Salmond comes whinging that none of the devolution promises are being implemented I rather hope Westminster turns round and says “Hey, we lied too”

This will NOT last. The PEOPLE of England will NOT accept it. Thank heaven, Cameron is well-known for U-turns. U-turns aren't a bad thing. Make a decision, realise it's wrong, change your mind.
Now, here's the deal. Genetically, the scotch are thieving crooks. In 800 years, they didn't manage a single year of honesty. Constantly crossing the border to steal animals, children for slaves, women for whores. Only a slight change. Crossing the border in defiance of the law? English assets? Does scotchland need to steal whores? Or does scotchland already have enough? Friday and Saturday nights. Starting outside pubs and drinking clubs!

not all English are anti Scottish as you well know,
you would find if put to the test that many scots feel likewise,

as a unionist I support them to stay.
but if you truly did have a vote, I promise you this, one side or another from your own words you would be seen as anti.

    vote wisely.

So all No. Ireland and Wales have to do is scheule a referendum to separate from Jolly Olde (No. Eire is on the way out anyway, may as well jump that gun, as its Catholic population has out-produced the English Protestant aversity to s-e-x), and England promises to give them anything it takes to keep its dying ´´kingdom´´ together. Milk ´em for all they´re worth, boys, before they´re worthless. Here´s hoping the Commonwealth schedule their votes soon too. England will have to apply to Washington to become the 51st state in order to keep the Malvinas. Take heart, Christina, the Mother Country is an old hag.

I'm actually more for Scottish independence now than I was. The UK will continue on and won't be greatly affected economically on the long term though there will be a psychological blow.

It is funny how many Argentines think a Scottish independence is an attack on the English. Or support it because it belittles the rest of the UK.

The fact that a country can freely let a constituent part vote on this matter is to be applauded . There are few multinational states that will do this, Spain, Russia and China come to mind.

Will be interesting to see the consequences.

@23. Are you from the well-known Bongo Bongo land? So let's check some background. As early as the 16th century, England had an 'empire'. What did scotland have? Nothing. What did it 'do'? Very little, except raid across the border and collaborate with the French. By the 13th century, England was appointing the scotch king. Robert the Bruce only ever managed a guerilla war against England. David II, King of Scots, became king at the age of 5 years. How desperate can you get? He liked to raid across the border and, in 1346, was captured and imprisoned in the Tower of London. It cost the scotch about £320 million to get him back. In 1363, David went back to London to try to sell Scotland. Not a very edifying 'history', is it? Finally, right at the end of the 17th century, Scotland tried to emulate and compete with England. A colony on the Isthmus of Panama. The polite call it the Darien scheme. The honest call it the Darien Disaster. Most of those in Scotland who had money had 'invested' heavily. Scotland had no choice but to beg England for help. The first begging letter was ignored. Scotland wrote again. Eventually, England agreed. It loaned Scotland money. It revalued Scotland's currency. A scotch pound was revalued as equivalent to one English shilling. With the union came prosperity. The scotch people could get jobs all across the British Empire. They even ran trade ventures protected by the Royal Navy. And today? One-third of the 'working population' of Glasgow is unemployed and on benefits. Scotland is given more in subsidies than anywhere except Northern Ireland. Salmond is revealed as a Maoist rabble rouser. 'Yes' sympathisers hit a blind man in the face for handing out 'No' leaflets. Isn't this the way Hitler's thugs “dealt with” the German, and other, Jews? Perhaps it's the way that Kirchnerists and La Campora “deal with” those that oppose them. Can we make a comparison? On one side, England. The other, argieland and Salmond. Civilisation vs barbarism.
