Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer said on Wednesday it has reached an agreement to sell 50 E175 jets to U.S. regional operator Republic Airways Holdings for 2.1 billion dollars.s6u Read full article
Embraer is investing heavily in the defense and security segment. KC-390, A-29 and the Grippen NG will make of Embraer the second aircraft manufacturer in the world in the next decade.
We have been all through this before, has anything changed in the market for this plane, NO.
It might be the biggest plane ever built in Brazil but it does not march up to the competition of which their are many fully experienced companies already supplying WHAT THE MARKET WANTS, not what Embraer can build.
As for will make of Embraer the second aircraft manufacturer in the world in the next decade. that is nonsense. Boeing and Airbus are way ahead of you now and will get further away in the next ten years.
Stop spouting blind nationalistic bollocks if you want to be taken seriously.

It's no use telling the Brazzo to stop spouting nationalistic crap. He is not smart enough to see through the lies, and the false claims made, in all the Federal Government's propaganda. He laps it up, like a good boy, as it's meant for idiots like himself. Embraer might be reason for a bit of national pride, but to suggest that it will overtake Boeing and /or Airbus in the next decade - or ever - is a load of bollocks. It competes with Bombardier, and that's about it.

Bombardier has a fifth of the revenues of Embraer planes. They take care of overpriced trains to SP.
