The best thing she can do is accept Papa's summons, confess and then resign.

He must be so ashamed of her.

her people are ashamed of her,
the world is ashamed of her,

but as long as the loyal few stand by her side,
she will never be ashamed, she needs to go-now.

Does anyone else think she might be doing a Manuel Noriega and claim sanctuary in the Apostolic Nunciature in New York?

I expect she'll be confessing for all her very manifold sins - particularly for the dreadful way she has managed the country over the past 5 years.

@3 She would never leave her beloved Maxi or toy boy Axel. Her less favoured child seems able to fake care of herself and has an abundance of arrogance to rival her mother.

I am afraid phony-smile-Cristina is in for an unpleasant surprise. Francis is not going to praise Argentine governmental achievements, au contraire.

“The delegation flying with the president” - in Tango One? or in a leased **British** (Falkland Islands?) plane?

What is the point of this visit that will cost fortune and achieve nothing.

They can't really say that a trip to the US needs a stopover in Rome.

“The motley entourage Cristina to see the Pope embraces radicals and a former judge”

    9. She is visiting the Pope to get her photograph with him and his formal sympathy.

She is at a record high negative image and she is trying to hang on to the Pope's robes as the country collapses.

The Pope being a useful idiot is going to do exactly what she intends him to be a useful tool. Argentina doesn't need a nice guy, doesn't need “governance” when this equates dictatorship. Argentina needs people with balls that can stand by their values and fear no intimidation by the politicians and the idiotic dogmas that are imposed on Argentina like cool aid.

Now poor Argentines just looooove crap and trash, that's why what defines elections and polls in Argentina nowadays is Showmatch imitations, a picture with the Pope or dating a celebrity tv hooker, former comedians or just a known name is good enough.

My God, what a retarded people

Since when has the pope been a politician???
Hes probably best sticking to grooming alter boys and spewing good feeling tales for the weak minded and leave the politics to the politicians no matter how corrupt they are.

Egotistic Old codger promoting an obsolete belief from a byegone age standing on a soap box wearing his grans night dress and half a football as a hat and nothing more....who buys into that??

”Her less favoured child seems able to f(SIC)ake care of herself and has an abundance of arrogance to rival her mother.”

Not after she was rogered senseless by five camion drivers and had to be hospitalised for a surgical intervention (torn anus it was reported).

I should imagine she is scared to death to venture out of the house.

As the Head of the Vatican State the Holy Fatheer should not be interfering in the political and economic affairs of another state.

Apparently she gave the pope a present of some silver items that had been given to her some time ago by the pope!!!!

Absolutely hilarious and offensive at the same time!

    MAJOR FAIL!!

I wonder how this happened? Was it accidental or dliberate?

Was an aide tasked with selecting a present for the pope that cost nothing, they found an unopened box of new silver stuff and thought this will do? Or did they know it had originally come from the Vatican and knew it would backfire on CFK? If the latter, the aide deserved a medal! LOL

The poor sod can't even get his Saturday off now.

Perhaps she will result in him becoming a Jew. At least he would get Saturday off.

    @18

    The link is http://www.iprofesional.com/notas/196572-Cristina-Kirchner-almorz-con-el-papa-Francisco-y-le-llev-unos-regalitos

To find the relevant text you need to scroll down a bit to “Además, obras de orfebrería que le habían dedicado a ella pero decidió llevárselas al Papa a quien, en tono cómplice, le contó: ”Le cambié la chapita, decía «para Cristina»“.”

It seems my assumptions about an aide were incorrect and she was well aware of the gift's origin and even told the pope that she had changed the dedication that had said “for Cristina”.

The truth is apparently worse than I had assumed!

He's legitimizing a corrupt gang of anti catholic liars that have created the worst economic crisis in Argentina's independent history. They created a famine that one would think could happen in a colony. Cristina is Jewish. Cristina is Jewish. Cristina is Jewish. If you think Argentina's detonating Brazil, won't affect the world economy you're mistaken. They discussed solutions to the problems facing the world. Im in disbelief that she is given this power. He is the pope of obedience to corruption, whereas John Paul II led a revolution in Poland against ineptitude, servitude and corruption.
