Argentina's intelligence reveals details of death threats against CFK
Argentina's Security secretary Sergio Berni released on Monday information concerning an alleged terrorist threat from the Islamic State against President Cristina Fernández, (CFK) and assured that further measures had been taken to guarantee the head of state's safety. Read full article

Al Qaeda spend 470 thousand, USA spent 3.5 TRILLION.
And none of that even counts the billons LOST in positive productions by citizens killed as soldiers, all the investments that were NOT made due to fear or retrenchment.
Also, it is well known the USA central bank kept rates artificially low after the attacks, and they had already been low due to the US financial crisis of 2000. This prolonged low-interest coincides with a massive bubble in the years 2003-2006 of property values, which lead to the United States economic crisis of 2007-2010. Trilions were wiped out, and then another trillion spent on bailing out the wealthy.
Some say the grand total is closer to 7 or 8 TRILLION.
So, Al Qaeda spent 1 dollar on their war against the USA.
USA spent or lost 17 million in the response.
I think it doesn't take anything further than a 4th grader to realize that if you keep doing that a couple more times, the guy spending 1 dollar wins.
You are mixing apples and oranges. Toby America is not going to be defeated by Islamic terrorism, Americas greatest threat comes from the demographic differential to the hispanic migrants and the drug cartels in the south. I think attacking ISIS ( or ISIL, or IS, or whatever they're calling themselves this week ) is a bad idea. You can't kill an idea, especially one with a gestation period exceeding a millenia. There will be others after ISIS. I never thought there would be a terrorist organisation crazier than Al Quaeda and yet...here we are.
The sectarian divide at the heart of this is is Mohammed's defining legacy and they are going to keep killing each other until they've had enough. The participation of the West just gives them another opportunity to deny responsibility for their own actions.
If this threat from ISIS did not exist she would invent it; perhaps she did.
