I imagine that Lula is running scared of Silva getting in and digging up all the corruption that he masterminded during his time as president: she must know where some of it is buried.
And the people of Brazil have proven once again how stupid and ignorant of the facts that impinge negatively on their own wealth they all are. Lula mobbed in the street. Lula killed in the street would be more appropriate.
There are rumours in the medical circles, that Lula still sneaks off to the Sirio-Libanês Hospital in the wee hours of the morning to have his chemotherapy seesions....hopefully he won't see 2018.
