Brazil, like too many countries in Latin America, has a former leader that tries to perpetuate his power long after he has left office.

Isn't there enough Chavismo, Uribismo and Kirchnerism already? Because all these do is hold countries back from moving forward and evolving.

Lula, retire gracefully and shut the feck up! You had your time. Now it is others.

I imagine that Lula is running scared of Silva getting in and digging up all the corruption that he masterminded during his time as president: she must know where some of it is buried.

And the people of Brazil have proven once again how stupid and ignorant of the facts that impinge negatively on their own wealth they all are. Lula mobbed in the street. Lula killed in the street would be more appropriate.
