This is the correct way to make a decision like this, through parliamentary process.

Cameron is right when he says, that if circumstances force him to take action in Syria, he will do so.

He is also right, when he says if does so, he will come back to parliament to explain and justify such action.

That plague is even here and they are plotting to kill the president, Pope Francis, police agents and anyone who opposes them. Their plans also involves terrorist attacks on different points of the country.

Not that i care about the president though, but i would rather have the mad bitch as a president than a bunch of religious fanatic monkeys.

Transparency is a good thing. Just like glass.

There is a new 'Jihadist Law' coming according to Dizzy Theresa May. It will be aimed at the British Jihad’s who are not content with their lot and disagree with their parents about coming to Britain. Perhaps we will kill them on return from them killing others, but somehow I suspect we will stop at telling them 'they have been very naughty boys'.

I thought an 'Anti-Jihadist Law' would have been more accurately descriptive, but heh, as long as we kill ALL these medieval religious nutters, who cares?

The Argentine parliament has no legal authority in other countries. Only in Argentina.

It proves how ridiculously out of touch you are when you are bleating and decrying “pursued” imperialism of Argentina in the Falklands, when you have within the same sentence IMPERIALISM IN ACTION in Irak and Syria as we speak.

WHO GAVE THE USA, UK or EUROPE THE RIGHT TO BOMB OTHER SOVEREIGN NATIONS?

    WHOOOOOO????

    This is what Aureliano wrote:

Are you, reality check, now going to show objectivity and demand these posts t be removed. They are CLEARLY INSTIGATING violence and bloodshed.

    WILL YOU?

I bet you won't, because you are an intellectual dastard.

I find a sign of the genocidal hubris of Europe and North America, that the prevailing mindset there now is that THEY CAN ATTACK, BOMB, KILL, AND MAKE ANYONE IN THE WORLD SUFFER, BUT THE ATTACKEE MAY NOT RETALIATE. WTF?

I stand by my statement. This is WAR. You want war Europe and North America, then you should get it. War is suffering, is death. If that reality is too impolitic and unsettling, maybe you should not bandy about its use. Maybe you should not be so quick to go bomb a place with no international authorization, no authorization from the countries in question.

I repeat it is war. You EUians and NorthAmoans have been way too sheltered about the reality of it.

You think bombing any nation outside Europe and North America is target practice, that it is fun, that it is something to laugh and make jokes about. Children die, mothers die, sisters die, homes and mementos are blasted away. You people relish that apparently, so long they don't strike back.

Europeans and North Americans do not deserve to be called human.

I despise these crazy fundamentalists that want to kill others due to their insane interpretation of Islam. They are not religious people. They are muderous thugs that seek to repress, murder, rape and terrorise ANYONE that does not agree with their twisted outlook, including other Arabs. If Argentina had the courage to stand up to them, then they would start killing Argentines. Argentina is still a mostly Catholic country and therefore a natural enemy of IS. Argentina should take this seriously too.

The Iraqi government has asked for help from Britain right? But we are helping them by flying from bases in Cyprus.

Surely they ( the Iraqi government ) could lend us / make space for us at one of their air bases in country? That would give our Tornado's more time in the air before they need to refuel.

“roof under your head” is used in Spanish to refer to he ROOF of HOMELESS people, i.e., the floor.

If you weren't such a beau ideal of an ANGLO, and learned a little bit of any culture beyond Folkestone or the Shetland Islands, you would perhaps have learned this. But “insular” describes more than the geography of the British.

Using RAF Akrotiri means that the aircraft's safety, while on the ground, is under RAF control. The same could not be said if they used a base in Iraq. The RAF regiment would have to be deployed,as well as ground crews, spare parts, munitions etc.

Iran is stiff poor and plus they have already tried doing something of sorts with Chavez's Venezuela but failed. The KSA is already investing in countries like Ethiopia and Kenya for its future food supply and they have already sent in millions of their own to colonize Europe. Argentine society is far more close and much less kind to foreigners like the ones of Europe. It would be almost impossible for a massive Muslim input in Argentina to settle in.

PS; a common sence question. how on earth do you expect kids of the villas to leave paco, wachiturros, culisueltas, and villero culture, the other Peruvian and Paraguayan and Argentine drug cartels and attend a Mosque and read th Koran (when they cant even read themselves ) ??

Its naive to take geography out of this. And travel and trade will be far more expensive in a few years. Proximity to the African horn and a already growing and expanding Muslim component in Europe will be the most significant drivers of international politics.

Just look at where ISLAM is at war with today aside from Iraq and Syria... And its all in the periphery of the Muslim world all over the Mahgreb, Sudan, Central African Republic, Somalia, Afghanistan, Xinjiang China, Russian Caucasus region, Yemen, etc.

YOu know this argument is fundamentally wrong.
These particular Muslims are militant, invading sovereign territory and imposing their laws and their will, on the native population.

The legitimate governments of those regions have asked for assistance. There is backing from other predominantly Muslim nations “in the neighbourhood” ( for the nino's sake).

So, let's take away all religious references and we have a group of terrorists imposing their will on innocents. I accuse th UK of being weak at home against the Muslims. Yes
I accuse the UK of exporting terrrorist (wich is a direct result of the previous point )

    UNBELIEVABLE.

You are not going to improve the situation on the ground by bombing IS. And you are certanly not going to defeat IS without giving massive benefits to the Kurds and Turkey is going to be hit hard by this and KSA will resent the new Kurdistan. And on and on it will go.

Maybe the Latin American muslim fanatics just don't have the money to travel to the deserts of Persia. Maybe they are just waiting to strike later in Latin America when they have conquered Europe?
    (Haha! )
I just can't see Latin America coping at all.

You say bombing those murderous bastards in the desert won't solve the problem at home. Ok,
    1) why can't there be a two fold approach? ie: do both? What would you know about what action the UK is taking at home to deal with the internal threat? You know nothing of the this because the British are very discreet.
    2) you have yet to offer an alternative except inaction
    3) Argentina desperately wants to be a global player in a globalised world but is quick to dismiss the complex issues as someone else's problem.

How can I argue with someone who is irrational?

    That is impossible.

Your beliefs will only be challenged by time and I am willing to wait. You have no idea what it is like to live with so many recent large immigrant communities because no one really emigrates to Argentina anymore.

When you only read the bad articles on a subject then you of course will have a skewed version of reality. I come across Muslims every single day in my life and there is no problem. For every radicalised youth that is disaffected with society there are thousands that aren't.

In places like Argentina, Venezuela, Russia and China; disaffected youth are recruited by the government against a perceived common enemy (usually the west). The same happens to some disaffected youth in Muslim communities. However a couple of hundred people from the UK, US or Australia going off to fight is hardly statistically significant if you consider the size of our combined islamic population is 6 million.

Argentina has a Muslim population double Australia's. And their growth rate isn't as quick as it was now. Birth rates always fall to the average eventually.

Islam is going through a crisis. This crisis is playing out mainly in the west because some Islamic values are coming up against immoveable western values. Friction will always occur but eventually this friction will settle down. It has been the same for every other major societal change in the west. Women's right, native rights, racial equality, gay rights.... there is always friction.

The west adapts. That is why is continues and can't collapse. Because there is no monolithic nor single way to do things. Australia, the UK and the US have absorbed cultures and religions from all around the world are we will continue to do that. Disaffected youth, a murder here or there or even a war will not change that.

    It hasn't before.

But Australian immigration policy is far more different to the European one.

You can spout all that PC rubbish. Yawn....
But massive uncontrolled immigration eventually has changed local values, cultures forms of governance of a country or region many times in history. The only thing new its that it is the West that is suffering from this process.
Jewish settlers in Palestine after WWI like it or not. American and english pioneers in the Territories of Mexican Texas, the Barbarian immigration into the falling Roman Empire, and there is heaps of other cases.

Muslims have far larger birth rates than local british and european ones. They are destined to become 40% muslim by 2050 only by birth rates.

History is against your own lala pc beliefs.

You asume that immigrant input always adapts to western values and way of life always..Why???
The first waves of immigrants in much smaller numbers do, but when more and more comes a process of ghetization and enclavization begins and immigrant culture and values gets exported and imposed on the locals.

And Islam has being in its own 30 years war since most of its existance, its not something new. And even before the existance of Islam the Middle East was on continual tribal war.

You can do things to reduce the process of islamization like baning the vail, morrning calls for prayers, abolish pc laws and change the education system etc. but the numbers are goiing to be fatal when brits die old leaving few descendants if any at all while Muslims have more than two in average who will not merge in nor adopt ancient local values and customs, culture.

That is on the own home front. But in terms of the Middle East you just let ISIS be. al Baghdadi has his own business and ambitions in the region. Just buy his oil which is cheaper and work with Dictators and autocrats like Israel does. Tell the lawyers and activists in London to f.... off and this is the real world we are living in. And one that it is far from perfect

Typical Argentine Fatalism. CD2 doesn't actually give a real answer. Just a neat swerve. “It's all too late, sorry mate”
Imagine if the British had taken that attitude in 1940!
At the same time he argues back against himself in reference to intelligence agencies. He says that they take the same viewpoint as him, but elsewhere he says the British are doing nothing at home. Nor should they be acting abroad.

    So which is it?

I think he is a waste of time these days. He has been infected by the troll disease into wishing doom and gloom on all of Europe due to jealousy.
    Shame.

While the British government defends other countries,

Spanish fighter jets 'illegally invade' British airspace over Gibraltar – report
    http://www.chronicle.gi/headlines_details.php?id=34734
Spanish fighter jets illegally invade British airspace over Gibraltar
SPANISH fighter jets illegally entered UK airspace to fly “across the bows” of a British airliner in a “reckless and dangerous” stunt over Gibraltar
Spain refuses to let British military jets fly over Spanish airspace on the way to Gibraltar even though they are partners in Nato, yet they think it’s fine to enter British airspace illegally and potentially distract an airliner as it is trying to safely land on the Rock.
“It’s time that the British Government sent the Spanish Ambassador packing back to Madrid
We are fed up with the bullying and intimidation from Spain, and it’s time we showed we are no longer prepared to put up with it
    http://www.chronicle.gi/headlines_details.php?id=34734

    British response.
Last night a Foreign Office spokesman said: “We are aware of the incident on September 19. We are reassured that there was no risk to safety caused by the activity of the jets.
“We are continuing to examine the incident to ascertain whether it was within the lawful right of passage.”

    Pathetic , pathetic , pathetic..

Currently the UK is doing something and Argentina is doing nothing.
    No change there.
I know Argentina sent some little tugboat along to Gulf War 2 but that was a long time again. Cristina claims that ISIL is threatening her, so let's see some action from them.
or will they rely on others to bail them out as usual?
