Are the Chinese ones on a slant? Does this mean that Venezuela really has gone 'tits up'?

And in Argie -land the same thing is happening. Food stuffs are disappearing off the shelves, and have been for some time. Also personal hygiene products, including soap. I don't imagine there is any shortage of Botox though. Following in the foot steps of the dear and departed Hugo. As usual.

Venezuela: no bread, too many circuses and an incompetent ringmaster. And they're are worried about a shortage of breast implants? Truly bizarre.

“The land of beauty queens desperately short of quality breast implants”

that´s the difference between those totally artificial beauty queens and the gorgeous women you can find in any city of argentina, but especially in buenos aires, san isidro, rosario, mendoza, bariloche, salta, córdoba, etc.

luckily our girls are among the most beautiful in the world and none of them would participate in those f*cking beauty pageants.

    grasas.

    Miss Universo Argentina
    Miss Mundo Argentina
    Miss Argentina (Official)

Miss World 1960 - Norma Gladys Cappagli from Argentina.
Miss Universe 1962 - Norma Nolan from Argentina.
Miss International 1967 - Mirta Teresita Massa from Argentina.
Miss World 1978 - Silvana Rosa Suárez from Argentina.

Since those titles, Paul's supposedly “gorgeous women you can find in any city of Argentina” haven't done so well. Predominantly unplaced. Perhaps too much soy in the diet and not enough beef.

Thanks, I never claimed to write or speak Inglish well, after all is not my native language. I was trying to improve my grammar and spelling from yankeeboy...not a good idea; His grammar and spelling are as bad as his predictions and hair styles.

Actually Yankeeboy's spelling and grammar are extremely good.

His predictions are much closer to reality than the tripe you post Marcos. Argentina is failing and you think shooting the messenger will solve the problem.

So why don't you try it. What will be the dolar blue rate at the end of the year? And what will Argentina's official inflation rate be? And what will the Congressional rate be?

Marcos, you are a follower and never a leader!

    Marcos

There is no “English Queen”. Your continually attempt at reinforcing that meme as a fact shows how deficient you are in both your education and your abilities.

I follow the Queen of Australia. What is even more farcical is that idiots such as yourself continue to spout some Latin American or South American brotherhood or identity or shared destiny, but then you attempt to make fun of a head of state that so shared by 16 different countries. We obviously know the definition of fraternity much better than anyone in South America. We don't mouth platitudes regarding shallow economic or politician integration, we actually share something much deeper.

And considering what elected heads of state have done to Argentina over the past 75 years, it is obvious to everyone that you don't follow our Queen.

As for heat I don't know about Argentina, I can at least balance that with how little you know about politics, economics and finance let alone the Falkland Islands, Britain, Europe and every single other place outside of Argentina.

If you think your little house and backyard will be protected from any future economic or political meltdown in Argentina then you are even more naïve than I thought.

Here's my end of year predictions for Argentina considering you consider yourself too inadequate to attempt yourself:

    Excruciatingly low growth.
    Excruciatingly high inflation.
A ridiculous difference between a government mandated exchange rate and the real one which will be over 20/1.

“the gorgeous women you can find in any city of argentina, but especially in buenos aires, san isidro, rosario, mendoza, bariloche, salta, córdoba, etc.” Absolute rubbish - the most beautiful women in Latin America are those from Cali, Colombia.

Argentine women are renowned for their big feet - out of all proportion to the rest of their bodies.

There's an article today about the rapidly falling real estate prices in PDE since the RG are desperately trying to unload them to pay their bills at home.
    Up to a 50% loss!!
Other than putting your illegal u$ outside of the country I could never figure out why anyone would buy in PDE. It is only nice and busy in Jan. The rest of the time it sucks.
But lots and lots of ill gotten gains end up there from Brazil and Argentina.
But who wants to hang around those kind of people on vacation?
    Not me.

Anyone else find it odd that Marcos uses the same name calling etc as Voice and Think?
    Yeah odd.

    27. It may be a little closer than that. This persona shows up just when Think/Voice needs someone to support them more harshly, more crass, more childish ( if possible) that they're willing to do under those nicks.

There used to be more like him until it was proven there were just a little too many Nordic Retornados to be statistically possible on this board.
Poof then there were only a couple.
Now there's an over abundance of Scots.
That have apparently never been to Argentina and have no relationship with the Falklands.
One would wonder why they're here.

Things are indeed bad in PdE and I would not be at all surprised if the 50% discount became the starting point as the distaster in TDC takes further hold.

When we go shopping we see more and more houses for sale but none actually sold, so far.

The numbers of argies appying for residency in Uruguay is still increasing and I wonder if 'No Money Pepe' will ever wake up to the fact that those who are already settled here must be the really wealthy ones and those coming are just fleeing with the loot, which may run out sooner than they think.

But no doubt he will give them a handout as usual.

    35. PDE was over priced when I was going there a decade ago. The prices don't justify the location.
I think they should be about 1/3 of where they are now.
    and we shall soon see.
This is just the beginning of the end of the Rg boom cycle.

the worst thing is that you cannot locate buenos aires or montevideo or punta del este on the map, and yet here you are, talking nonsense as always.
    :)
    yankeeboy.
yes, prices in pde were overpriced.
in the end it is just a ciudad balnearia.
now these lower prices are an attractive for argentinians to invest there.
so you can get a plot of 2500 square meter, with a fot 3.5 or 4 for +/- u$s 500.000.

    News on CBC Radio today:

    - Ford profits fall short of projections - they lost over a $1b in South America this year.

Also, a “soft” CBC interview this morning with Julian Assange.

Julian was speaking on the book, “ When WikiLeaks Met Google” and he declared Google invasive and evil, etc., “a typical US corporation”.

When asked about his asylum in the Ecuadorian Embassy, he said he had NOT been charged by Sweden, the UK was “breaking the rules of asylum”, and he knew that even if Sweden dropped the request for extradition, the UK would arrest him anyway, and he implied that they would give him to the U.S.

Polly, you are correct. I searched for Argentina on the most modern maps available. I couldn't find it!
However, I looked on a calendar, and there it was!
Argentina, just between 1945 and 1978.
Apparently that is where it has been for many years.
Perhaps you should apply to the C24, the UN, MercoSur, Alba, UNASUR and ISIL for liberty from this timewarp?
