and what else do you want with kicillof in charge?

last news for this 4th class site: fábrega resigned to the central bank and is replaced by...vanoli, who is not even qualified to manage a supermercado chino.
the tw@t will insist in controlling the blue dollar through the gendarmería....
for the imbecile the problem is the cost of the dollar and not the inflation.

I think you would have more luck with the manager of a supermercado chino as Economic Minister.
I am not joking. I met several managers/owners of supermercados chinos when I used to do business in Venezuela.
Very sharp people. Always the best deal for themselves, even when you think you have.
Often wear cheap clothing, drive bad looking but well maintained cars. But if you ever (rarely) get invited to their houses..
    Often very wealthy people.
Much smarter than the average bear!

Paul, My guess is they'll immediately set up bands of exchange like Venezuela and soon enough the Peso will be 100/1. It won't take a few years like it did there because they have oil and Argentina has nothing to sell.

I hope you have been buying laundry detergent like I've been recommending that last umpteen years.

@4 because as of yesterday's blame everything on the US policy, it's all the vulture funds, griesa's and the US administrations fault. Yes even 13 months ago when the figures were so overwhelmingly bad that they could no longer be construed as positive, it was Obama's fault. Not Cristina's no no no.

I love watching socialist regimes collapse. It's a drug I've greatly missed since the 80's. Hearing Timerman make up mindless jabbering about bilateral agreements and Cfk ranting about success in the face of utter failure evokes fond memories of listening to radio Moscow. Happy days are here again.

surely these pricks do not realize that that means more misery, hunger etc.
it is like being happy because england has 13 million people under the poverty threshold.

@7 Now, come on, you know that is not true.

The quicker the government fails, the quicker the start of the recovery for the Argentine people. There has to be not a whiff of CFK and her family about the place for help of any kind to arrive. She is a loud-mouthed, egocentric, bi-polar, screeching fish-wife, who has made it her life's mission to insult, blame and disrespect in order to isolate Argentine and steal as much as possible from you all. She is a common criminal.

The glee is for the end of her grip on a country that could survive under decent leadership.

It's really simple, while Argentina is an economic basket case it cannot afford to fund a military.
Thus the Peoples of the Falklands are safe from ANOTHER illegal invasion and occupation.
Remember the Illegal Invasion of 1982 makes previous UN resolution favouring Argentina's position null and void.
Of course the Argentinian government has every opportunity to talk to the Democratically Elected Falkland Islands Government.
The Fact that Argentina refuses to talk (and blames the UK for no talks) is not the fault of the Peoples of the Falklands.
Northern Ireland though not completely resolved is in a far better place than during the Troubles.
This ONLY game about when people with diametrically opposed views sat down and talked.
The UK government has offered to talk to Argentina so long as the Falkland islanders are represented.
Argentina refuses any talks with the Falkland Islanders.
So it is up to YOU.
Are YOU prepared to talk to the Falkland Islanders?

@7. Could you classify your comment @1 please?
If you don't want to read criticism of “your” country and the happiness of intelligent people when it comes a-cropper, go somewhere else. You won't be missed.
But here are some thoughts. Very few people paid much attention to argieland until 1982. Your country started an unjustifiable war. You thought you could steal British territory occupied by British-protected people and no-one would say squat. You were given the opportunity to back off. So you lost and were humiliated.
Argieland fell out of the news except for the occasional reminder about the tens of thousands of landmines planted irresponsibly. Argieland decided to become “friends”. Except that it was a con. As, eventually, Kirchner (deceased) made obvious. The corruption continued. Where did that million dollars from Santa Cruz province go? Is that slag still spending it?
Then you made it worse with an economic war against the Falklands. Incidentally, every time someone from down there refers to OUR islands as “Malvinas”, it's a point against. What right does a bunch of murdering, genocidal, corrupt, criminal, spanish arses to call OUR islands by a name they've made up to support their lies?
Now we're watching. And so the US$82 billion default came into the frame. In case you don't know, defaulting debtors are supposed to “negotiate” with their creditors, not issue ultimatums. But Kirchner (deceased) thought he could get away with it. Perhaps if he'd been satisfied with 50%? Perhaps he thought the few he didn't force would give in after a few years?
And so we reach the present. We see argieland wriggling and writhing. We take note of your criminal history. An “intelligent” country would see that, if it paid the hedge funds, many problems would disappear. Fortunately, argieland isn't intelligent. There's an old saying about ceasing to dig when you can't see out of the hole. Every time I see bad news for argieland, I laugh. Can you figure a solution?

    Kirchner, Kicilloff and Capitnich:

Three blind mice, three blind mice,
See how they run, see how they run,
They all ran after the economic strife,
It cut off their tails with a carving knife,
Did you ever see such a thing in your life,
    As three blind mice?

I, like most of the people here want that kirchner and her minions pay for their corruption, etc.
now, the system of government here is not like in italy for example, where you can have an early election because the current government failed.
an early election means an institutional disaster, so it is not so easy.

    9
first, nobody is going to invade anything, and that does not depend on the economic situation.
not even kirchner would invade the islands.
a lot less any other from the opposition.

    11. imbecile
no, you laugh because you are an ignorant 3rd class pleb + a mistake of nature.

It goes beyond TMBOA and her classless government: it's Peronism that is the cancer which stops Argentina being the country it was once, though I don't think it will ever be as strong as it was in the early 1900's.

The reason it will never be as strong is that the country then was run by 'the ruling class' and as soon as the 'workers' got control of it, it was fucked, well and truly.

That is why it's still fucked, nobody who is a Peronista seems to want to work and make something of themselves: they want it given to them; they are argies after all, don't they own the world?

why you opine when you don´t know a shite?
in the early 1900´s there were 3 popular governments: the ucr with yrigoyen and marcelo t de alvear.
the richness was due to the “período agroexportador”.
when that was over, the problems started.
it has nothing to do with the ruling class.

I understand and appreciate that. Just like here in the USA we often have to live until the next election with incompetence or, as now utter government gridlock as we refer to it.....especially in a national two party system. No system is perfect or services all needs. But Kirchner and many agencies and bureaucrats are corrupt Paul, but I am sure you know that. Don't think for a second either that I am inferring my system is without corruption. The difference is we do have entities, news media investigating, arresting and sentencing corruption. I am amazed that Boudou is still in office. Spiro Agnew (former VP) cheated on his taxes and was forced to resign from office.

    captain
so far all we have is some good news media investigating and some good prosecutors.
guess the big problem here is the congress acting like an “escribanía del gobierno”, due to the majority of kirchneristas and many corrupt judges.
i am also amazed that boudou is not in jail yet.
agree that the “sistemas de control” are a lot better in the u.s. than here.

Ha!!! Pay back is a b*tch isn't it? Ever since I have been on this forum I have waded through the same cr*p about how wonderful your leader is, How STRONG your economy is, How the rest of the world is doomed to financial and social collapse...... Psychologists have a phrase for this kind of lunacy, do you know what it's called Paul?

It's called “Marching out of step” The nutjob thinks that everyone is out of step with them.

Actually, it's the nutjob that is out of step with everyone else. All through the years, and years and YEARS we have had to put up with the lies and LIES and b*llshit from La campora trolls just like YOU who have rejoiced with any bad news coming from any other country.

Friend Yankeeboy warned and warned what would happen and you know what? you laughed at him as well. Now look? WE all tried to warn you, tell you what was going to happen and the only person you can blame for where you are now is YOU.

YOUR arrogance and YOUR conceit has brought you to this place and all you can do is to post on here and blame us for this mess of your own creation instead of DOING something about it. YOU made the bed, now YOU lie in it.

But it is not all bad news, as the saying goes :- If you can't take a joke, you shouldn't have voted for her in the first place.

    Nice dodge of my question.
May I ask you to re-post number 9.

To paraphrase, the situation in NI was only resolved when Peoples on ALL sides sat down and talked.
The UK governement is quite happy to talk to Argentina, as long as democratically elected members of the Falkland Islands Administration are present. Note there is nothing in UN resolutions (whatsoever) that forbids this.

But when presented with susch a propostion Argentina refuses to talk.
So are YOU prepared to talk to the People of the Falkland Islands?

    27. Paul, your society's ability to deal with an economic collapse every decade is nothing to be proud of but you are correct, we in the civilized world probably would have a hard time dealing with collapses and new money every 10 years.Since we've never had to do it.
The way Rg's reason is baffling to us. It seems backwards, odd, retarded and even troubling Probably because it is.
Argentina is the only country that consistently is moving down the development scale.
    The only one.
It is nothing to be proud of and it is the reason most Rgs fail when they move to another country.
They're scared of hard work and punishment for doing wrong.

    Its sad
and its only going to get worse
this is merely the beginning of the collapse.
