Hopefully Argentina doesn't see this as a slap in the face.
However, one has to look at the facts
Chilé is a growing economy, strategically located on the Pacific as well as the Horn, and they have a well equipped professional military.
Healthy trade as a member of the Pacific Alliance, and having a real democracy, can't hurt.
Argentina? Nope, none of those things.
Too bad - passed over, again.
Congratulations to USA and especially Chile, to continue the successes for both.

Overall I think Colombia will surpass Argentina if Argentina does not make a serious curse correction. I am really curious to see what path Brazil will choose in the coming weeks as well.

Never in Virginia? It'called Chincoteague........The base is Wallops Island. High security installation. Drive around on the easterly side and low and behold.......you will see an array of hundreds of satellite dishes run by our favorite gov agency. There is also a NASA launch facility there.....but you know all of this.......being in the Air Force.
Oct 15th, 2014 - 08:16 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Keep driving on Chincoteague Rd and take a left over the bridge........Sunset Villa......much better than the concrete laden floors of the naval housing on base, but those house were still much better than fort housing.
Further down is Assateague National Seashore. But nothing beats the annual pony swim on Independence day week.......it's quite a festive and party week. They swim the wild ponies to the mainland every year for vet checks. It's really quite a mixed base like many since the mid 80s' But Air Force knows that too.

On the other hand by contrast, your description is very convincing.
lol mission based information is sensitive, departures, men in a advance team, comm frequencies....etc etc. All that is in the open. I've woke many morning to the lumbering rumble of a 4am lift off of a new comm satellite. In fact in front of the base is an LED sign with a countdown to the next liftoff. That base also has communications worldwide.....naval side. The Farce has no clue on what a security clearance even means let alone non disclosures. If he were in the US military AND he did work that required non disclosures.....Air Force it is usually flights crews and load masters and pilots, he would not be typing on this web site because he would have a lot more important things to worry about.
