Doctors on Friday instructed Argentine President Cristina Fernandez to rest for 48 hours in order to recover from a sore throat. Argentina's presidency said in a statement that the 61-year-old leader is suffering from pharyngitis and had to suspend a public event scheduled for later in the day in order to get some rest. Hello!! the next 2 days are Saturday and Sunday, It's called the weekend!! Why not just say “Take the weekend off”

'a mouldy phalange' is a case of athletes 'foot' of the finger.

I guess if you put a mouldy phalange down your throat you could get a transferred pharyngitis.
It must be the reciprocal of suffering from Chlamydia of the finger.

@8 ChrisR- Many a true word spoken in jest.
Her doctors should tell her to gargle the right stuff-salt water is good but she read the instructions --- differently. Argentines always interpret any form of text, in a different way to the rest of the world.
