Sinn Fein and Argentina - both tried to achieve with violence what they could not obtain by democracy. Indeed, both disappeared people, had dubious links to the Nazis and even today can't bring themselves to use the name of the territory they dispute. Actually they have quite a lot in common. That said, even Sinn Fein wouldn't use a religious service promoting peace to put out a political press release.

eeewww! I feel like I need a good wash just from reading this article about some failed terrorists that have achieved so litle, and caused such division, all cosy together.
Have looked for the equivalent Sinn Fien Statement, Can't find it. Anybody got any links?

I wonder if Alicia actually did her homework this time, and read the Good Friday agreement? Decades of bitter conflict resolved through dialogue, with
the Republic removing an irredentist claim from its Constitution, Sinn Fein recognising (at last) the democratic rights of the NI population, and both the Republic and the North sanctifying the result in separate referenda. A lot of anathema in there for the gormless Peronist.

What nonsense! What hypocrisy! The Church should NEVER allow political statements of this nature under its “umbrella”!

It might help Argentina actually learn something if they were to appoint an actual Ambassador. But it seems that the primary function of a Peronist sent abroad is to assist in the further manipulation and disinformation of the domestic population.

Meanwhile, not a cheep about any declaration of support for Argentina from Sinn Fein themselves. They seem to be preoccupied with more important issues such as water charges.

Let us not forget the Castro woman is very close I mean really close to Sinn Fein and that Bergoglio already has expressed himself about the Falklands and what they should be called so we are in good hands there :D

Always ends with the 'supports argentinas claim to the Falklands' line.
    Bag of pish.
How much RG tax payers money did she waste on that excursion?

Correction - last sentence must read: 'Argentina's illegitimate sovereignty rights.' After 92 years of not taking its so-called case to court Argentina does not have a legal claim. Lol
