Few fish are as steeped in myth and conjecture as the megalodon, a giant shark that lived roughly 28 million to a few million years ago. This fearsome-looking shark is the subject of numerous documentaries, rumored sightings, and even well-funded search expeditions. While the species may be extinct, its legend certainly lives on. In what way? Check the list of extinct animals: from the passenger bird pigeon (NorthAmia), to the Thylacine (Ozzerland), to the Warrah (Falkland Isley), to the Dodo (Madagascar), to the Auk (also NorthAmia).... and several whales... all extinct at the hands of the BRITISH and ANGLOS.

So I'm sure Megalodon was too one of the victims of British environmental misdeeds.

Lol, the Megalodon became extinct 2.6 million years ago, which predates homo-sapiens by 2.4875 million years. Unless you have evidence that contradicts the researchers you can't even pin this on human beings, let alone British or Anglos.

Toby: “ So I'm sure Megalodon was too one of the victims of British environmental misdeeds.”

What part of that statement did I fail to successfully challenge?

When I made that statement, I already knew when Megalodon had gone extinct.

I still think it is the fault of the British. That was my point :o

You are just about the only sane individual here. I think it goes without saying, that I am tit for tatting. Read most threads in this forum about natural disasters, Ebola, solar flares, whatever.... whom do the Anglo/British posters here say is to blame? The Argie.

I might as well play the same game, with the same rules. Everything is the Anglos' fault!

I appreciate your honesty, as well as the compliment which I'm sure several posters will - vehemently - disagree with. The problem with your strategy is you are simply adding negativity to negativity. Which means you lose the moral high ground.

I know you have a sense of humour - some of things you used to write, a long time ago, used to surprise me with their wit. There is nothing bullies hate more than being mocked...

You were here in the era B.TTT? I thought you were definitely born A.TTT.

Just like with anything B.C or B.CE, it is all really hazy and the details probably a bit inaccurate, that B.TTT is long ago.

Most people here aren't even to the level of bullies. When my very ancient ancestors posted here, they attempted to use both intelligence, angular humor / satire, and even self-deprecation. It was wholeheartedly ignored, and the insults flowed with alacrity anent my nationality, regardless of my stance.

(Let's remember, I have always stated the Falklands are British and they have their right to choose... not that this should earn me points, but at the time I was still attacked as a “Malvinista”, because I happened to disagree in some other area... or worse yet, they never bothered to read my views on the Falklands proper).

When one of my ancestors turned to shaming with crass exaggeration veiled in a patina of truth, he became the nightmare of the foe, they would see TTT everywhere: in their closet, under their bed, in the bathroom, even their soup! They claimed he was behind a plethora of other posters or personas, even fighting with each other about it-- that's how influential and jarring TTT was. In fact, ever since then many times he has been imitated (never by me, I always have one account ONLY, and under that account use only one nickname at a time... though I do change it often, I always use names that make it obvious who I am, I find it funny the opposition thinks I am trying to hide when all my names use the word “troll” embedded within it, or an easy google translation away from being discovered). So he has obviously had a profound effect, and at times put them in their heels... Which for all his grace, wit, sarcasm, and cadre using English (albeit at times stiltedly garrulous), Tobias never could achieve, for good or for bad.

Remember the rule: it's better to have a bad reaction, than no reaction at all. Works for women (or men) relations too.

That was a very entertaining, insightful post. You're much easier to like when you drop your guard a little.

No, I did used to read the stories on this website that pertained to the Falklands months before I decided to post a comment on it, but the B.TTT era is mostly unknown to me. However some of the original persona must of survived the 'transition' because I do remember examples of genuine wit buried within the polysyllabic proclamations.

I will desist from any further suggestions except to note that I would be careful about whom I adopted the third person perspective around. It's tends to make some people nervous y'know...

@9. You really are a nutjob.
@12. That's your excuse, is it? One wonders why you would change your 'nickname'. Many people hereon never change theirs. Changing names implies dishonesty. Dishonest, how? When one reads for a certain amount of time, some people have been known to record comments. That may enable to determine when someone has just stated the opposite view to the one they expounded several months before. Should we comment on argies and honesty? How unfortunate for you that argies have the tag of 'viveza criolla'. Here's another 'rule' for you. Honesty is the best policy. There is a gentleman, believed to be an Argentine, who says what he means quite clearly. As a result, I have never seen him attacked. I don't know how you conceive your approach. I conceive as being a typeical argie smartass. Many people have a considerable number of beefs with argieland beside the Falkland Islands. 200 years of lies. Even lying publicly to the UN. Theft. More lies. Failure to repay debts. More lies. How exactly do you expect people to react and respond when your 'country' has stolen billions of dollars from tens of thousands of people around the world, refuses to comply with the law, lies, refuses to return people's money and, as a final insult, claims that it acting in its own interests and that of its 'people'. What about the interests of the people you stole from? Over the years, Britain has done many things. Mostly, the same things other countries were doing. Criticise the British Empire by all means. But don't forget to put it in context. And compare it with, for example, the French and Spanish Empires. Find the British example that compares with the French guillotining all and sundry in the street. Or the Spanish using religion to justify crucifixions, burnings, garroting, killing. Most often of Amerindians in order to 'convert' them. And argies just carried on in the same way. Plenty of shame available for 'latinos' in south america.

I'm argie, I'm already dishonest, ever since I was conceived, right in there, I was already plotting. So I will change my names at will.

Not sure why you decided to post the rest of that, it sounds almost coherent, so I'll take it as a one-off.
