An estimated 60.000 visitors will be landing in Punta Arenas, extreme south of Chile during this 2014/2015 cruise season, according to the manager of the Austral Ports Company, Ignacio Covacevich Fugellie. Oh the nativity scene with the penguins and seals ( up near the Prefectura where they keep the hulked 'warships') is rather nice....
Slightly sorry for the inhabitants of Puntas Arenas. Can't have it both ways. Support argieland and I'll keep my £36,000 at home!
