That is an awfully lot of polyester clothing, shoddy electricals, badly-made cars and general cheap plastic tat for the Lat Am market.
That is all you can find in Vnzla these days. Even the 'designer' stuff, (at 5x or 10x European prices is counterfeit shite from China, just slighty better than the other stuff but still fake....
This is what Arg & Ven are getting in exchange for oil, land and massive, massive debt.
These arrangements are riddled with corruption but the Chinese don't care about the bribes, normal business practice for them.
Meanwhile the governments of Arg & Ven tell their people to celebrate.
This is not going to end well.

Read the article again....that ship is for the Europe run...
So..“That is an awful lot of polyester clothing, shoddy electricals, badly-made cars and general cheap plastic tat for the European market.”
...and that statement I refute anyway...
What kind of sound system do you have..?
    I have a Bose sound system..high end....
Guess where it is manufactured......Made in China....;-))

It was more a general statement, it will free up all the smaller ships to bring more crap to Arg & Ven. The stuff the regular people buy, not old fools that can sit back and watch their own country go to the dogs and listen to their nice sound system.
Fiddling whilst Rome burns are we Mr. (its all about me) Voice?

Old??.....OLD??...huh....the likes of ChrisR and Co are old enough to be my father

    haha!
You can't post without talking about yourself.
So you are in Scotland with a nice Bose system? I wasn't talking about the Holy Loch, read the effing posts you sad old fool.
I was talking about the lack of quality on the shelves in Arg & Ven. Mostly in Ven there is nothing to buy anyway.
have another drink, and go quietly into the night you decrepit old dupe.
The only dashing is the pebble-dashing you will be doing is to the commode in which you are enthroned, permenantly...
China pretty much owns your beloved Argentina now.

So you weren't talking about the Holy Loch..?
    I beg to differ.....
    Quote...
“The stuff the regular people buy, not old fools that can sit back and watch their own country go to the dogs and listen to their nice sound system.”

You were talking about my sound system...I am at the Holy Loch in Scotland.....ergo you were talking about Scotland...Doh!
I have proved where I am many times.....
All we have is your words of where you are...and that doesn't mean shit....

BTW.....you appear to be familiar with Stingray.....that dates you.....
also been going to Ven for the last 20 years......probably were not a kid when you started.....you are the old bike...I would say...probably mutton dressed as lamb...

All you ever post is drivel....China hardly trades with Ven....those containers are for china's biggest customer base....hence the size...for Europe...
...and my post was highlighting that China does indeed manufacture high end products and not just rubbish like you claim....
I'm sure you post drivel just to say something....
...let me give you some advice...no one else is interested in Venezuela....so why not fuck off with your Ven comments to the far side of fuckoffsville and see if they are interested.....
or better still...I'll give you 20p and you can phone someone that gives a fuck....how's that sound...?

    *chortle*
Some one give me another stick, and I'll poke another old dog with it!
    pmsl at that reaction!
    *still laughing*
I bet your commode is taking some punishment right now!
    You sound awfully irate.
    jejeje!
You are like a clock-work toy. Wind him up, and let him go.
    Wheeeeeeeee.................!

    Bwahahahaahhhaaaa!

Let's do this again some time, you are quite amusing when you have a proper rant, didn't know you still had it!

Vocie you've always implied you are a man of impeccable taste and quality. Bose...really? Somewhat mid level and pedestrian wouldn't you say? Growing up Macintosh and Sansui and Marantz were the names, but that was the 70s. I would have certainly taken you for a Linn man given your posts, certain components and hardly integrated equipment......but Bose?

Voice up all night trying to convince people he's in Scotland and has good taste.
    Bahahhaha

I didn't know they sold Bose and Burlington Coat Factory. Maybe there's a Outlet mall near Trout Run.

You are right Pops...it is pedestrian ...I've noticed Costco selling it now...never used to be the case.....
They even advertise on the TV ....
Hey I'm not rich Pops...I couldn't justify Linn even if it is Glasgow's finest.....lots of stuff I'd rather spend money on....
How about you...I'm guessing you have a few quid, but you also like to keep it that way.....

So I just looked at Real Estate in Dundoon.
Voice, How come you have a vacation house is as crappy of a place as where you live?
Dundoon looks like the Trout Run of Scotland just on the water.
Same weather, same type of people, same cost of housing.

    Bahahahaha

    No wonder you like it.

Dunoon is the closest town....so what....
I don't live far from Emma Thompson...I suppose she likes her crappy place in the hills too....
I could buy and sell ten of you...Fred the Sales Rep...;-)

Is the house in the Design magazine yet....:-)))))...PMSL...
You and your tall stories.....Go on...tell me another.....but wait..
Let me settle myself on the Chesterfield on the patio in front of the outdoor fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate....first.....after all I've got nothing better to do.
Do some work ya bum...sell a few properties instead of posting.....some folk have to work...I hear...

Bahahaha, sure. There's an 11 bedroom hotel for sale for U$750K. That's a kinda okay but not great condo where I live.

I don't think you realize the difference between my world and yours.

My whole life I've been dealing with low born people trying to climb above their station.

At some point you should realize you're only making a fool out of yourself.

One would think will all the overnight posting you're on this side of the Atlantic.
    Chubut maybe?
Chubut, Dundoon and Trout Run very similar, poor, remote, hilly, windy
    now I get it...

The ship will go where china says it will go,

    even with the CFK nutters.

I'm tight Voice.....remember my posts last year not wanting to spend 200 a night for hotels in Buenos Aires? Anyway....I do not need to stay in hotels there when I visit. I can squeeze a penny so tight I can make Lincoln cry on a penny. But.....when I like something......money is meaningless. Anyway....Bose was originally speakers. If I could only choose either great speakers of a system......I would take the speakers. But still I do not have Klipsch or Moon.

Bose. Bought myself a nice pair of Bose noise cancelling headphones last month.

My most expensive audio purchase ever but having used then already, worth every penny. Should make my trip so much more relaxing.
