By definition, Pre-Columbian means before 1492? And where is the 'nation' that can date its 'civilisation' back at least 522 years? The spanish exterminated most of them and the argies tried to finish the job! There just be a few isolated pockets left.

How refreshing for Pepe Mujica to say what we already know - that for decades the Mexican state, riddled with narco-related corruption, has failed its peoples.

Mexico does have very severe problems but as I understand it the Mayor and his wife (why are the fucking women ALWAYS a fucking nuisance: Pepe and the Harridan, Boss Eye and TMBOA, Peron and his whore, etc) are being sought on charges of murder.
Pepe goes fairly soon now, I hope he croaks before his term ends and we can give him a state funeral, on top of the Graf Spee.
