Ecuador's Deputy Minister of Aquaculture and Fisheries organized a workshop with representatives from various government institutions related to port and maritime fisheries control in the country in order to develop a National Action Plan to prevent, deter and eliminate illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing. So litle Ecuador can reach an agreement with the EU, but MercoSur can not?

I know these are vastly different agreements, but MercoSur has had 15 years....

MercoSur should be disbanded as it has failed as a trade bloc and become overly politicised.

I am glad to see Ecuador acting more responsibly in regards to fishing, but it still needs to escape the tentacles of ALBA.
I expect the tumbling oil-prices will weaken the Venezuelan suckers.
Does anyone remember the Chavez inspired virtual regional currency known as the SUCRE?
Has that now sunk without trace?
Or the Banco del Sur, intended to replace the IMF? Is that now swimming with the fishes also?

I think we should be told.

I guess you are one of tghose people who is still drionking Coca-Cola , when we have been told for years how bad it is for you. Just imagine how difficuklt it is to change the mindset, habits and point of view of one persona and you want the entire south american continent to grasp the full scope of the new born political, social economisc system at hand?
The european unión has been struggling sin the end of the world war and just started to structure itself since 1951 ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Union).
Get a hold of yourself, read a bit more and start the change as a productive and innovative individual.

There was no EU at the end of WWII.
The European Union is a totally different concept than the stupid useless populist ALBA failure.
It's not possible to compare the two.
Maybe you need to reed some books. Venezuela is a hell hole. Is that what you aspire to?
They is no new politics in Latin America, just corrupt Boli-borguisie selling lies to the poor.
Different elites, different lies. Same situation? I think it is worse now.
