“One factor in keeping inflation low has been the 25% fall in the oil price since the summer, which has cut fuel prices at the pump for motorists.”

Whilst here in Uruguay we had the murdering commie bastard “No Money Pepe” unilaterally slap 10% on the price of fuels and even the crook Sendic who was running the crap shoot at the time didn't know it was coming.

Sendic managed to ensure high prices remained by locking in under new, undisclosed terms, the oil supply contract with Venezuela!

I have to say that most of the government behave like the children at Christmas who go for the shiny pretty coloured toy BOX to play with, ignoring the real toy enclosed.

It would be laughable if it were not so tragic.

“the UK economy would grow by 3% this year, up from a previous forecast of 2.7%, with growth of 2.4% next year”

the problem with the uk is that in spite they can grow, lets say 1.5 or 2%, which is nothing, they will be a perpetual 3rd world country, with millions of people living under the poverty line, etc.

they also have +/- 20.000 slaves there.
it is like an african country inserted in europe.

Slavery levels in UK 'higher than thought'

There are 10,000 to 13,000 slaves in the UK, says new report

    Paul

Get off your arse. Get away from the computer.

    Get outside. Get a job.

And open your eyes at the shithole your country has become because people like you don't have the balls to stand to the corrupt politicians that continually get elected to rape and pillage your economy.

Your country doesn't even publish crime statistics any longer so how the hell would you know what is going on.

At least the UK admits it has problems and tries to tackle them. Yours just ignores them-LIKE YOU DO!

You jealousy for what the UK has is so palpable that I can taste it as far away as the US.

    The UK has....
    Higher growth
    Higher standard of living
    Lower inflation
    Lower corruption
    Lower crime
    Less poverty
    Higher education attainment
    Better universities
    Better infrastructure
    Higher innovation
    A stronger military
    More global influence
    .... than Argentina.

And there is no way you can prove otherwise. Indeed, by continually trying to highlight otherwise and so blindly ignore that any measure you use is WORSE in Argentina, you actually add and support the status quo in your country.

Congratulations. You have become EXACTLY what the politicians you despise want you to be.

as i said before, england is an african country in european soil.
    so sad.

“Archbishop of Canterbury: my shock at Britain’s food banks
Justin Welby says he was left more shocked by the plight of UK’s hungry poor than by suffering in African refugee camps”

    @ 5 POLLY

Don't you understand why the idiot of Canterbury said that?

    1) for effect and to get people's attention (he managed it with you)

    2) to draw the plight of the refugee camps back into the public eye.

Neither worked because the UK know it NOT to be true.

If you ever managed to get outside TDC and away from SA, YOU would know it was not true by seeing it for yourself.

You just make yourself look like a complete prat by keeping these sorts of obvious lies going.

I have an education. And a job. And live in a safe rich prosperous country.

You have none of those things. And you support your current government in denying these things to you.

You can post any links you want. But eventually you have to look away from a computer screen and look at a country that none of us would ever want to live in.

While lazy sycophants like you exist, government after government is going to continue robbing you blind and destroying your future.

My future and my country's future looks awesome. Yours looks like a sh1t sandwich that's been run over by a truck.

And that is the best joke of all. That you are trapped there getting what you deserve. And how do you spend that time?

    Researching the UK!

    BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    “BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA”

that part of your post represents you very accurately.
    what's your iq, approximately?
    less than zero?

i already said it, but again, i am the first in recognize all the shit this government is doing, not only internally but also regarding foreign relations.

now, the problem are the imbeciles (with all due respect) like you or like some twats we have here in argentina.

you / they think everything is right in england or argentina just because it is your / their country.

    your critical thinking is nonexistent.
    hence your opinion is irrelevant.

    Oh Paul

I see you are upset. My IQ? Why I've never had it measured. It is a poor indicator compared to OPPORTUNITY. The highest IQ in the world is of little use if the person with it is herding yaks in Mongolia or an unemployed construction worker in a failing country.

My country offers opportunity. And I embrace that. Your continuing imbecilic posts about the UK only shows that the problems there are KNOWN and DISCUSSED. The same can't be said for the quasi-fascist state that Argentina is tending towards.

Tending for many reasons. But at least two that YOU highlight so well. First, your government suppresses information. It is easy to discuss the crime statistics of the UK, the poverty levels, the economic problems etc because the UK government doesn't suppress this information. It doesn't lie about it. It doesn't arrest you or sic the tax office onto you. It doesn't ban publication of inflation statistics if they don't agree with the 'official' ones. It doesn't send a fascist, totally opaque, undemocratic, quasi-militaristic mob around to shops to 'police' economic policies and suppress dissent.

So every post you put up that highlights something bad in the UK is actually a win for the UK, because it proves that even an unemployed and badly educated Argentinean can access and discuss this information.

You can't do the same for Argentina.

By continually deflecting you are accepting and failing to fight against the suppression and oppression you live under; which means that you tacitly support it.

Quote, post links, deflect and go off topic all you want. But for every single post where you do, you have just rewarded the scumbags that have ruined your country.

I don't care how high your IQ is, because those actions make you a DUMBASS.

And you will never have half the stability, opportunities and luck that I have to live in a country where politicians such as the ones you tacitly support would be hounded out of office.

    PS: Intelligent people use caps!

Today the government is truing to fix the interest rates, but the price we all pay is too high. We all see difficulties in the labor market and the high level of inflation is not a good friend for people now. Now many of use find financial help here http://northnloans.ca/payday-loans-in-prince-edward-island.html instead of receiving high salaries. Also we understand that the salary rate does not cover the growing prices. So we have no opportunities, but to wait until the government will change the behavior.
