The BBC Top Gear team which last October toured Argentina with three vehicles and which triggered a strong controversy apparently had three different plates in just one car and tried to torch the vehicles to cause further 'scandal', according to reports from the Patagonian police which were attached to a second letter sent by Argentine ambassador Alicia Castro to the BBC Executive Board. What about the stunt they pulled with the, so called athlete, in the Falklands just prior to the London Olympics? To compete on UK soil, we train on Argentine soil but lose on everyone's soil.
At worst this is just tit for tat, but they sure don't like it when it's reciprocated.

All seems a bit contrived so as to deliberately take offence.
Growing awareness in UK that the Argentinian people and police behaved like animals and only the intervention of a few Chilian Border Guards prevented a serious crime taking place.

Just when we thought that Argentina has reached the bottom, we find they have even further to fall.

The more that the ninnies squeal about this self created piffle. The more that they bring their country into realm of global 'OMG & lol' territory.

Alicia sends this letter, signed the Ambassador of Argentina, without blushing.

Christ the Argies are thick, they should have taken a photo of the H982 FKL number plate and then if they felt that strongly then written to the BBC.This has really stirred up “ hornets nest ” they ( Jeremy Clarkson et al ) will be really milking this. He was on the Jonathan Ross show the other night saying“ the Argies were throwing rocks like girlies ” I pissed myself laughing but he did say he was scared at the time. I was once faced with an angery mob once very frightening but I had an SLR rifle for protection but nevertheless it was frightening

You would 'Think' a football obsessed nation like Argentina would have a clue about the embarrassment of own goals! But, this woman is really thick, devoid of any diplomatic skills and simply a puppet of a crooked group of failed polictricians. The British thing to do in this situation would have been to make it into a big joke to share with the Top Gear team and then make sure that they were resoundingly beaten in the car football match. Instead they send a group of thugs in to intimidate them and turn the whole thing into an international incident?
What a bunch of serial idiots and loosers? But, I guess we already knew that!

    http://tinyurl.com/q2bb6qk

Tells you there were 76 Porsche 928 GT available in the UK in 2014.

    http://tinyurl.com/q2bb6qk

Gives you vehicle details. Vehicle was originally registered with that plate in 1991. It also shows Tax and MOT data. Cars are usually taxed at sale, a check of the classified ads in Classic Car magazine shows this was the only manual 928 available for sale.

    http://tinyurl.com/q2bb6qk

Allows you to check vehicle history. Between 1998 and 2001 a previous owner had the personal plate H 1 VAE on the car, it was transferred to another Porsche. The care then reverted to the original plate, which was simply stuck over the personal plate.

    http://tinyurl.com/q2bb6qk

Takes you to another story regarding the team, where May described Clarkson as a monstrous bellend. The team have already stated the plate was made up as a joke and intended to be used off road in a game of “car football”.

The team has also revealed that when the controversy over the number plate became apparent, they reverted to H1VAE with the knowledge and consent of the Argentine officials present.

The team made no attempt to burn the cars, the only burn damage there was occurred when a battery for a camera was removed in a hurry. I know one thing, the Top Gear team would have done a proper job if that was their aim.

In fact, there are explanations for every point raised in the letter already in the public domain. So it makes the Argentine ambassador look decidedly thick to continually raise the same point.

“Above all, don't lie to yourself. The man who lies to himself and listens to his own lie comes to such a pass that he cannot distinguish the truth within him, or around him, and so loses all respect for himself and for others....... The man who lies to himself can be more easily offended than any one. You know it is sometimes very pleasant to take offense, isn't it? A man may know that nobody has insulted him, but that he has invented the insult for himself, has lied and exaggerated to make it picturesque, has caught at a word and made a mountain out of a molehill--he knows that himself, yet he will be the first to take offense, and will revel in his resentment till he feels great pleasure in it, and so pass to genuine vindictiveness.”

@1. To be fair, as we British always are, one instance of unacceptable behaviour does not excuse another. However, argieland sent a pirate by the name of Jewett to the Falklands to 'claim' the Islands illegally in 1820. In 1832, argieland sent a band of rapists, murderers and other criminals to set up a penal colony. In 1964, an argentine terrorist lands a private aircraft on the Falklands. In 1966 a group of argie terrorists called the Condors crash-lands a hijacked DC-4 on the race course, and 'claims' the Islands. Then there was the argie sports idiot dancing around on the war memorial. And argieland whinges about a number plate?

Anybody got an email address for Rona Fairhead so I can send a message telling her what to do with the Castro woman's bleats?

You Brits have a lot of skeletons that make Argentina's state sponsored disgrace of 10k murders (clearly unacceptable) look like a walk in the park. For the Brits, it's a matter of picking the century for the British Genocide - Where do you want to start??? Up until 1947, Indians claim that the UK is responsible for up to 1.8 BILLION INDIAN DEATHS. You managed to kill off over ONE MILLION IRISH in the Potato Genocide and you literally killed off the Tasmanian population and this Nick is the tip of the ice berg. You would hope that with the subjugation and the mass slave labor that the UK employed that there would be something left over in the
UK coffers. We all know that the native FI'ers are either practicers of incest or the product thereof, I'll gladly throw my lot in with Argentina.

That would have 4 x the population of India in 1947.

Tell me, what is your IQ ???
How would you or a few thousand Brits go about killing 1.8 BILLION people across a whole continent?

I suppose you find it comforting to think it's true, so you believe it.

What a fool you are!!! Are you a child??

Now, you're calling the Potato FAMINE a “Potato GENOCIDE” - you idiot !!

How many countries practiced in the Slave Trade?

Did you know that England outlawed slavery in all her territories and colonies by 1833, well before Argentina???

Argentina still legally had African slaves until 1861.

“The first Constitution of Argentina abolished slavery in 1853. This, however, did not apply to Buenos Aires, as it was not a part of the Confederation. Once Buenos Aires joined the Confederation in 1861, slavery was completely abolished in Argentina.”

    http://www.oxfordbibliographies.com/view/document/obo-9780199766581/obo-9780199766581-0157.xml

And... what happened to all that large population of African slaves you exploited??
The Trolls would tell us that they all became full Argentine citizens in the enlightened new Republic.
However, they don't mention the systemic racial discrimination they faced.

Where are the “blacks” now?? Almost unseen in modern Argentina, unlike your neighbours.

During the “Triple Alliance” against Paraguay, the Blacks were all put on the front lines - “cannon fodder” for the enemy guns!

How about now the Argentine “War of the Desert”, your hero Roca's campaign of genocide against the Amerindians of Patagonia ???

Today, the UK has one of the most culturally diverse societies, and a democracy to be envied.

    Argentina??

Here are some excerpts if you are too lazy to go to the websites:

”The “avoidable deaths” (from violence, deprivation and deprivation-exacerbated disease) in British India totalled 1.5 billion (or 1.8 billion if you include the so-called Native States). About 20% of the victims (about 350 million) were Muslims. ”

“ Educated Indians are aware of the ghastly 2-century imposition of British colonialism on India. However, because history is generally written by non-scientists, most Indians are utterly unaware of the horrendous human cost (1.8 billion violent and non-violent avoidable deaths in the period 1757-1947).

The British deliberately caused famines in India“

”The British caused the genocide of 2 million out of 8 million Irish subjects in four years. When it was “over,” the British officials directly in charge of “Irish famine relief,” particularly acting Treasury Minister Sir Charles Trevelyan, congratulated themselves and were decorated as Queen Victoria made her gala 1848 visit to Ireland. “

”In 1962, MI6 and SAS begin covert operation in North Yemen that eventually involves providing arms, funding and logistical support to royalist rebels in dirty war against pro-Egyptian republican forces. Around 200,000 die in the war.“

”British invaded in 1914. Bombing of Kurds using poison gas in the 1920s.”

    Who is the fool......Brit.
