The Argentine jigging fleet captured nearly 150,000 tonnes of squid (Illex argentinus) in South Atlantic waters during the season that took place between 24 January and 31 August this year, according to a technical report issued by the National Institute for Fishing Research and Development (INIDEP). Caught in Argentine sea? ( never heard of it ) 250,000 tonnes and around the FALKLANDS 288,000 tonnes. Now obviously the FALKLANDERS are doing a good job in environmental sustainability of fish stock. Bloody Argentine pirates fishing in the FALKLAND SEA. Send in the Nuclear Penguins say I.
