Much easier to just sink the poachers. When you are down near Antartica, who's going to see?
Sink a dozen boats and they will learn to stop going there.

Just one question. Where is Sea Shepherd's legal authority?

I have to say it's an outright shame to see these magnificent creatures slaughtered. Anyone who has seen them eye to eye knows exactly what I mean. What they are trying to accomplish is noble....but it still remains that they are not legally empowered to do so making them nothing more than pirate/terrorists.

@5 Did you even read the article?
Do you even know what a Patagonian toothfish looks like?
I guess anything looks noble and attractive when you are from the FI.

Sea Shepard AUSTRALIA is based in AUSTRALIA.

I believe the Banzare Bank may also be within Australia's Antartic Territory's EEZ.

As for being pirates or terrorists, chasing someone who is breaking the law and removing illegal devices from an area is no more a terorists or pirate than someone giving chase to a mugger, rapist or burglar.

Whether they were in Australia's EEZ or international waters, the area is covered by CCAMLR, so Sea Shepard is only doing its civic duty.

Klingon is an Argentine who lived in New Zealand but..... get this.... returned to live in the slums back home.

Either couldn't hack it in a country that works without corruption or got kicked out.

Nothing like life in Villa 31. Always a grand sight on the way to Newbery airport. Now the residents try to stop the cars on the highway there. It's an elevated highway.

Klingon.....what a name. Perhaps it's appropo. A leftover shitball from sloppy hygiene.
