With all the conspiracy theories surrounding OPEC's November decision not cut production, is it really not just a case of simple economics? The U.S. shale boom has seen huge hype but the numbers speak for themselves and such overflowing optimism may have been unwarranted. When discussing harsh truths in energy, no sector is in greater need of a reality check than renewable energy. Read full article

Great interview! I managed to elucidate several of my questions on the current situation of the oil and the future of shale gas. Congratulations MercoPress!

Only Western fools see conspiracy against the United States or Russia. All mankind knows that the only conspirators world is the United States that spying, sabotage and invade other countries.

Why do you think that happened on September 11? Muslim extremists tried to avenge the Iraq invasion sponsored by Bush (father).
And I believe that while there invasions and wars the peoples of the attacked countries will try to take revenge.

    Get out of Afghanistan!
    Get out of Palestine!
    Get out of Haiti too!

Cap, I think a lot of the really stupid SoAm posters on this board drink poisoned water.
It makes them delusional and susceptible to the Marxist propaganda their gov'ts put out.
Its the only conclusion that makes sense to me.

Man!....some of these posters have me wishing I was still a man of violence. Brasshole would be on my cherry sheet.

I am sure the Kuwaiti's do not fail the same way as Brasshole ....nor the Saudi's...and...and......nor the earthquake victims in Haiti.

Though I bet the Haitians wished the Brazilian peacekeepers never arrived.

    Or the Uruguayans:
Does anyone recall them raping that boy?

    Oh dear!

Someone (nod, nod, wink, wink.) will be thinking we are ALL unbalanced if we have ever handled a firearm.

Good job that someone doesn't know the Big Green Machine grunts have to give a personal, human name to their rifles!

I appreciate somebody who knows about firearms commenting as you did, thanks.

Uruguay at first denied the claims, they were lying as all governments do when caught red handed. Thankfully this was soon back-tracked on and things handled properly after that as far as I am aware.

I have no issues with people being allowed to possess the, I personally no longer care....though I will say now and again I have memories. My wife sometimes hears a firecrackers and asks is that was a gun shot. I have to chuckle, because as I am should you know that pop and crack sound of a weapon, as opposed to just a crack or pop.
I really do have to worry about people who want to remove guns from citizens. I fully endorse restricting who can have them....nuts, felons etc.

Speaking of Uruguay.....a 40 hour work week seems to be too much to handle there? lol

Back to guns..( my thinking drifts as I type) . My son in-law who was in the UCCG for 9 years is a gun freak himself. He collects to military ones....AK47, AR15 Bushmaster some Glock handguns. He has my daughter shooting but I just bite my lip......lol. He knows his weapons. My father in law in Argentina has guns and LOVES guns. He saw my son in laws collection (pictures) and is salivating. Just rambling.

@1. There seems to be valid reasons for committing you to a mental institution. Or are you already in one called Brazil? Wonder why you are the murder capital of the world? Perhaps your 'government' could ask for international special forces to step in and execute your murderers. Perhaps a good start would be to reduce your population to 100 million. If that doesn't work, reduce the population to 50 million. And continue. 25 million. 12 million. 6 million. Come on, Braso, how many have you murdered in the last week? Don't say you don't do it. All Brazilians do it. Just be honest. For a change.

Yes, but have you ever noticed that the ones who want to ban guns are the ones who come running when they need ‘saving’ by guns.

I had one young female Chartered Accountant (very intelligent young woman) working in the accounts and one day she came to me and told how she had seen a beautiful fox at the back of her house in the country. I asked her if she still had her two pet female geese (knowing the answer). So I asked her if she wanted me to shoot it for her.

She went berserk! How dare I suggest that, she was utterly against guns and even when I suggested that she started to lock them up when she came to the office had her ranting again.

So, just a few days later she came to my office crying her eyes out, and yes, you’ve guessed it, the fox had killed both geese but had only taken the one away. She wanted me to kill it.

So I reminded her what I had suggested we should do BEFORE the obvious happened, and no I was not going to shoot the fox for being a fox!

But why did he kill the two when he only took one she bleated and wasn’t impressed with the answer: to shut it up while he made off with the other one.

Thankfully she moved to another company before long. These people assign human values to ‘dumb’ animals, but it is they who are the dumb ones.

I may have survived a Abu Ghraib or Guantanamo.

You should know that the Brazilian crime is high among our poor and black population precisely because between 1990 and 2002, 56% of youngsters not attending schools.
The right-wing parties have done much harm to my Brazil. Our today's criminals are the disinherited of Fernando Henrique.
We will not solve this problem in just one generation. We already universalizing education, but we can not recover the millions of adults who were lost when they were young in the 90s.

For example, all voting PSDB is like Jack Bosta. Ignorant, thief, rude and Nazi.

Anyone think a being so limited can actually govern Brazil? I think not. All voters and candidates of the PSDB and the right-wing parties have this same limitation.
They are too stupid to govern. Are too poorly educated to live together in society.

“Jack Bosta, vai dar o seu rabo para outro!”

    @12 BrazzASSHOLE
I may be rude, but only to assholes like you. But the fact that I even bother to reply to you, should make you proud. Which one of you assholes is replying this time ?.... even a joint-effort can't produce something sensible.

I've told you before, but you are too f*ckin' stupid to comprehend....the PSDB is NOT a right-wing party...it is center-left, just not as ideologically fucked up as the PT. Talking of being 'poorly educated”, I belive you are referring to Lula, your hero, an illiterate a.hole, who is proud of his ignorance...wasn't it the 'sapo barbudo' proudly announced 'that he does not like to read' ? just like you and your gang of 'viados'....
E, sei que é além da sua compreensão (bastante limitada), mas é meio-difícil “dar o rabo para outro”, se nunca 'deu'.

E, antes que eu esqueça, vocês já tomaram seu “cocktail contra HIV” hoje ??'
