The usually verbose Argentine president Cristina Fernandez preferred a lengthy letter in Facebook to comment on special prosecutor Alberto Nisman’s death (suicide), arguing it was yet another tragic chapter of the ongoing confusion, question and lies that have surrounded for 21 years the AMIA case. Jan 20th, 2015 - 08:39 am - Link - Report abuse 0In the Facebook statement , she alleges the Air Force tried to kill her in 1980 , and that the bloke she accuses of the attempt ( Antonietti) was then placed in charge of the original 1994 AMIA investigation , making her blood run cold .
Jan 20th, 2015 - 09:19 am - Link - Report abuse 0She then tries to create some sort of conspiracy around whether she prevented Timmerman from attending the Paris march and that this is somehow tied in with Nisman coming back from Europe unexpectedly .
Darling , if the Air Force had tried to kill you in 1980 , they would have done so .
Nisman may have died by his own hand , but he probably killed himself because of threats being made to his family by people close to this dreadful witch
#1 the only thing with that Chicureo, public opinion matters little in Argentina, to politicians that is. It's like forest fires........sometimes it really does take fire to put out a blazing forest fires.

Only days before this assassination, CFK instituted a massive shake up of SIDE, the Arg version of a combination of the CIA/FBI. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secretar%C3%ADa_de_Inteligencia
Jan 20th, 2015 - 11:04 am - Link - Report abuse 0It is widely believed SIDE operatives were instrumental in Nisman's death. I attended the rally in Plaza de Mayo last night. Cries of Assassin referring to CFK were chanted by many thousands of protestors.
A simple statement expressing her regret would have sufficed.

it is easy.

Jan 20th, 2015 - 12:20 pm - Link - Report abuse 0@2, 7. A 'state' murderer can rarely resist the opportunity to exculpate themselves and cast aspersions on others. Adolf Hitler went to the extent of writing 'Mein Kampf'. Blaming everything on the Jewish people. Here in the 21st century, we can see that Israel responds vigorously to being attacked. It has even been know to engage in pre-emptive attacks. Strangely, there doesn't seem to be any sign of a desire for world domination (a la Islam) or starting a world war.

Not one of his 10 assigned bodyguards was on duty immediately prior to his giving evidence incriminating CFK and key members of her government. Why?

I'm currently watching Canal 26 Noticias and the government is desperately defending CFK's position.
World news outlets are accustomed to seeing terrible and even bizarre headlines about Argentina. Crisis, default, comparisons with Venezuela, and even accusations of adopting werewolves – let’s face it , these headlines are attention grabbers. They paint Argentina as a backwards and downward-sliding quagmire where the mysterious death of a judge about to testify against the president isn’t out of place.

As horrible as this death is, whatever the truth of it is, it's a good sign that many Argentines are angry about it. It means that the country hasn't completely succumbed to cynicism or fatalism.Lord of the Flies is still at arms length. And CFK definitely sounds scared. Maybe Nisman accomplished something after all?

Jan 20th, 2015 - 06:41 pm - Link - Report abuse 0@33 It is still early days in the investigation but to rule out murder at this stage would be foolish. No suicide note, no evidence the gun was in Nisman's hand, no reason for him to commit suicide.
I am sure CFK didn't pull the trigger. She has a lot of uncontrollable devotees that may have taken the matter into their own hands. An attempt to implicate the CFK government and therefore discredit her chosen successor could be possible. Internal struggles with the intelligence agencies seems a pretty strong option - they could pull it off. Any outside intelligence agencies are highly unlikely.
It doesn't appear to be suicide. It does appear to be murder most horrid. Whodunnit is the question. JMO
More importantly, the majority of Argentine people do not believe it is a case of suicide and they are pretty pissed off.

I am a permanent resident of Argentina and need not be educated by those who may or may not reside here. Clearly, the Argentines are screaming loudest about this murder as they should! I was merely pointing out the fact that while Argentina has more than its fair share of problems (including murderers), what government does not. I may be mistaken but it seems that many, if not most, of the posters on this site are largely ignorant of life in Argentina.
And, go......
TRAGEDY AND CIRCUS.
Jan 20th, 2015 - 07:45 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Although it's pretty obvious that nisman's death was something that nobody expected, in fact, i had been very anxious the whole weekend waiting for the audience that he was going to give at the congress, however, i am not sorprised for the pathetic opportunism of many cretins, who started blaming the government for nisman's end.
I can understand that for many people who despise kirchnerism, it will always be more convenient to believe the forced view of hegemonical press, which is based on distorted facts and omissions, instead of listening to prosecutor viviana fein, who said that ´´there are no signs of a third party involved´´. If they are happy believing the missinformation of corporate press, i accept it, but all those people who were protesting in some cities from the country, blaming the government for nisman's death, will have to understand someday that tv programs aren't part of justice, if the government is guilty or not, it must be determined by justice, not by rented cretins from corporate press. As long as they don't understand that, they will keep on making a circus of nisman's death.
On the other hand, one of the most important arguments of nisman's denounce was rejected even by interpol, beside, he made so little to find the truth, he was a disaster as a prosecutor in this case, anyway, all the others who were before him, were even worst than nisman.
It's necesary to remind that general prosecutor, gils carbo, offered him more security, and he rejected it, beside, he lived in the safest building from buenos aires city, where people must have a code to get into the tower, and he had ten bodyguards from federal police. Anyway, we must still wait for the final results of skills, because perhaps he was instigated to kill him self, ONLY JUSTICE must determine what happened with him finally, not the hypocrites from corporate press.
I guess the most pertinent question is, why do the majority of Argentines think the worst of CFK and her government. She may not have pulled the trigger or ordered the murder but, as was said yesterday by Chicureo, she is certainly being blamed by her own countrymen. Maybe that was the intention.
Jan 20th, 2015 - 07:49 pm - Link - Report abuse 0@48 Whether or not people reside in Argentina they have every right to express their opinion on this story. I lived there for long periods over several years, still have a great many friends there and have a professional interest in the country. That doesn't make me any more or less entitled to comment but I don't believe there is a qualifying criteria for posting here other than a wish to express an opinion. Of course, you could take it up with Mercopress.
Point anywhere you want but the spotlight is on Argentina over the tragic death of Nisman.
If it is raining, do not say the sun is shining. Nisman was murdered.

Jan 20th, 2015 - 08:28 pm - Link - Report abuse 0 if the government is guilty or not, it must be determined by justice
Not really possible if the prosecutors are murdered. That is why there is such a reaction from the majority of Argentines.
he lived in the safest building from buenos aires city, where people must have a code to get into the tower, and he had ten bodyguards from federal police.
Having a code to get into an apartment building is pretty low-grade security. When I lived in Bs As I had that and security staff on the door - it was standard. And all of his ten bodyguards were nowhere to be seen. Odd that.
@49
Jan 20th, 2015 - 08:41 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I was wondering in the other thread when you would show up blaiming the hegemonic media... which seems to share the view of...... pretty much every major news agency in the world. Of course you would masturbate to the government spoksmen and officials because they are far more reliable and credible than..,...well everybody else who is oblidged to simply title Prosecuter that was about to testify on Monday against the president of Argentina was found dead in his flat
On the other hand, one of the most important arguments of nisman's denounce was rejected even by interpol
It was not rejected by Interpol, Nisman's arguments ware based that the Iranian and Argentine agreement would leed to the fall of the red alerts for the Iranians.
Its just amazing how Kirchnerist wankers like yourself can get so easily fooled with a little semantics and argument missplacements game of Telam, 678 and Pagina 12. Jan 20th, 2015 - 11:06 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Millions upon millions of people choose American wines over Argentinian.
Wine sales in the U.S. from all production sources—California, other U.S. states and foreign countries—increased 2% from the previous year to a new record of 360.1 million 9-liter cases with an estimated retail value of $34.6 billion, according to wine industry consultant Jon Fredrikson of Gomberg, Fredrikson & Associates in Woodside. Of the total, almost two-thirds or 207.7 million cases of California wine account for a 58% share of U.S. wine sales with an estimated retail value of $22 billion. Including exports, 2012 California wine shipments to all markets in the U.S. and abroad reached 250.2 million cases.

Something interesting about Argentines is that they have an enormous inferiority complex. Instead of simply speaking of the all the amazing things Argentina has to offer, they tend to make attempts at comparing themselves to others. I'd put up the best of Napa Valley (which I doubt you've heard of) against any Argentine wine. Not to say that there aren't superb Argentine wines it's just that they are SO inconsistent. I'm guessing this is largely due to the Argentines invoking their two favorite words, good enough.

Jan 20th, 2015 - 11:24 pm - Link - Report abuse 0and you sir are a complete and exquisite pelotudo.
Something interesting about Argentines is that they have an enormous inferiority complex.
and what the f*ck can you know about argentines?
when was the last time you left the islets?
never?
Tranquilo, boludo. Tenes que callate la boca si quieres apreder algo.
Jan 20th, 2015 - 11:32 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Be calm Paul. Just a little friendly ribbing. Also, I live in central Patagonia and travel extensively. I know more about the Argentines than they know about themselves.
When was it that you were in the states last? Ah yes, never. As I thought.
Well, ladies, gentlemen y la idiota...I'm off to enjoy some cheap malbec and mediocre feedlot raised Argentine beef.
Saludos!
PC has done a good job of distracting from the subject but is a complete twit about wines. Probably can't afford decent wine.
Jan 20th, 2015 - 11:34 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I know more about the Argentines than they know about themselves.
Jan 20th, 2015 - 11:44 pm - Link - Report abuse 0what you clearly don't know is how to speak in spanish.
you, boludo, mix boludo with quieres?
lol
and it is callaRte and apreNder, you nincompoop.
since the islets are in patagonia, i will concede that you live in patagonia.
Argentina couldn't even import wines when I lived there a decade ago. The very few I saw from outside of the country cost more than most people made in a month.
Jan 20th, 2015 - 11:48 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Paul Argentina has good cheap wines. Leave it at that because you clearly know nothing about wine.
Any protests tonight? Or are the Rgs sipping mate and smoking pot?
@73 ElaineB
Jan 21st, 2015 - 12:11 am - Link - Report abuse 0I wish I could afford decent wine. Unfortunately I can't as often as I would like. Most of the times I just have to do away with one of t those 50-60 pesos wannabes.
Rooster, you are absolutely right about that inferiority complex @70.
Paul, give it up already. You are making a fool of yourself. If you want to hacer patria, you could just shut up and listen. Besides, I don't think you are experienced enough to tell a fine wine from grape juice.
No protests tonight. Big coverage in the local media though. Everybody is talking about it. Pot would be a great idea. My American brother in law grows his own and I've heard from his friends that the product is premium.
Too late for mate. Cheep beer, un pis y a la cama.

Jan 21st, 2015 - 12:46 am - Link - Report abuse 0get a job, loser, and you will be able to afford a good wine.
in the meanwhile just shut your @ss up.

if you want to get informed about this issue, then you are in the wrong site.
the information merdopress can offer is a sad joke, and so its readers.
what you jhave to do is:
1. learn spanish
2. go to tn.com.ar
3. read the full plainte of nisman
4. draw your own conclusions
Just came in from the pub, this site is hilarious especially Paulie's ramblings - what an ignorant dick! As the prime RG rep, that says it all..
Jan 21st, 2015 - 01:03 am - Link - Report abuse 0However Mr Nisman died, the Ks and their hangers on are rightly getting the blame. Bang those pots.
Oh Paul, you are not dead!!!
Jan 21st, 2015 - 01:03 am - Link - Report abuse 0Where the f.ck did that come from?
I put up at least 60 hrs. a week. I'm probably still working (and I was still working just a minute ago) every night when there comes the time that you feel like watching porn and jerk off like a mutant teenager pushing 30.
You are embarrassing to yourself and our country. Please don't try to defend us anymore.
Looks like CFK et al are trying to 'muddy the waters' already. They want to blow so much smoke around that there will never be a truthfull outcome.
Jan 21st, 2015 - 01:10 am - Link - Report abuse 0I just hope the Argentine populace keep demanding the truth.
Meanwhile, forget about pant-wetter Paulie's deflections about wine, in his own words get informed before posting ( a familiar phrase of his?)
More delightful insights (NOT), here....

Jan 21st, 2015 - 01:30 am - Link - Report abuse 0what us are you talking about?
you cannot be considered argentinian, you english wannabe.
even a honest english would consider you despicable for licking their boots in such pathetic way.
Right, as opposed to you being such an a*hole, ranting, loathing and creeping up when reality does not match you fantasy world anymore?
Jan 21st, 2015 - 01:41 am - Link - Report abuse 0I know you mean well but you lack the ability to explore yourself deeply (pun not intended). You have to try to know yourself before spewing out abominations onto other human beings (or other human groups for that matter).
btw, you mispelled that, I licked them b*obs ... and it wasn't pathetic at all (macho chauvinism not intended as well)
Paula, it's painful to watch you butcher both languages. Why don't you get your jammies on and let the adults speak for a bit.
Jan 21st, 2015 - 01:47 am - Link - Report abuse 0Your CommentArgentines believe they have the best beef of the world, the best wines in the world, the best women, etc.... simply because we are told so.
Jan 21st, 2015 - 01:54 am - Link - Report abuse 0Anyway….. Would you believe that none of the building neighbors were questioned yet?? Well its the case, only random walkers in the Sunday morning were called to be witnesses. I think that they are shit scared.
Did you mean that the House of Krap is shit scared?
Jan 21st, 2015 - 02:06 am - Link - Report abuse 0If so, yes, agreed.
The building neighbors. You can hear a woman with high heels walking in any modern day building (and hear much more) but you cant hear a bullet fired on a Sunday afternoon??
Jan 21st, 2015 - 02:27 am - Link - Report abuse 0That's because there was no one dead or shot. What they found was just a stunned norwegian blue resting.
Jan 21st, 2015 - 02:36 am - Link - Report abuse 0I've known for at least 2 years 2015 would be exciting in Argentina!
Jan 21st, 2015 - 03:01 am - Link - Report abuse 0I love you yb. You piss me off most of the times but I have to give credit to you on this one.
Jan 21st, 2015 - 03:22 am - Link - Report abuse 0There's a very thin line between love and hate.
Jan 21st, 2015 - 09:26 am - Link - Report abuse 0Pablo please come back and post. I started what is becoming a shitty day and I really need some laughs. PLEEEEEEASE!
Jan 21st, 2015 - 02:07 pm - Link - Report abuse 054 I read along time ago Israel paid 50 guys to sit around and troll Craigslist (a web site like this) and other sites pushing their agenda during the Lebanon invasion. Argentinas version of this is one shit head with fifty names trying to deflect attention away from the subject...
Jan 21st, 2015 - 10:28 pm - Link - Report abuse 0@93
Jan 22nd, 2015 - 01:05 am - Link - Report abuse 0That's is easy to explain. Kirchnerite supporters can barely spell in Spanish. This must be the only guy they've got that can write in English.
@94
Jan 22nd, 2015 - 02:32 am - Link - Report abuse 0but they are 'trés' amusing, non?
@95
Jan 22nd, 2015 - 02:48 am - Link - Report abuse 0Yes they are! If you understand Spanish just go to the comments section of any article in Clarin or La Nacion and your eyes will hurt just trying to figure out what those cyber monkeys are trying to say.
Well, may be that is a blessing not to be able to understand them as nothing worth pondering would come out from such limited minds. Did that sound like me discriminating? Well, we are supposed to have evolved over thousands and thousands of years. Who knows? It could well be that the missing link is still alive somewhere in BA.
@96 lol! true!
Jan 22nd, 2015 - 04:05 am - Link - Report abuse 0I do have some understanding of Spanish (at post-grad Economics/Politics level, albeit many years ago), and do follow other news-wires/sites/blogs etc.
I agree the education, (inducted propganda), in Argentina is well below 1st world standards, this is obvious accross the international media spectrum.
Argentina has a massive 'wake-up' call in the pipeline...
@97
Jan 26th, 2015 - 01:37 pm - Link - Report abuse 0 wake up Argentina the world is watching you as regards this suiside of a journalist, don't think they will find the culprit, best wait until all the living today are dead.
