    The Falkland Islands again are leading the way on environmental protection in the South Atlantic.

    Once again Argentina's claims that 'nobody' recognises the Falkland Islands has been proved untrue.

    In the meantime the Falkland Islanders increase their ties with Chile, Brazil and Colombia and show the world that the Falkland Islanders are here to stay no matter what some lunatic in Buenos Aires says.

    In my many years of experience of living and working in several Latin American countries my perception has always been that no more than “lip service” is paid to the pretensions of Argentina - this is further proof of that perception.

    @3

    No - what I mean is that their alleged support for the Argentine spurious claim to sovereignty of the Falkland Islands is nowhere near as solid as Argentina claims it to be. Most Latin Americans are just not interested!

    What a fantastic opportunity to discuss the Kirchnerite propositions of;
    a) the 'Latin-American Brotherhood'
    b) the ”whole World supports our claims on the 'Malvinas' (sic)”
    c) “Latin America does not recognise the FIG”

    Well, it seems that at least the 3 major economies of South America recognise the FIG, otherwise this couldn't possibly have been authorised!
    haha!
    Meanwwhile back in Argentina the President is accused of murder by her own people!
    Outside of this crazy place, the World still turns and real countries go about their business, and scientific endeavours. Argentina continues a downward spiral.
    The only weapon CFK has is to print more stickers to put on buses...

    Cooperation between Argentina and the Falklands will never occur. So not so “Pan-American” when 1/3 of the South American continent has no interest in participating.
