Does this government have any mandate other than “Poor Crisis Management”? Need to look back at their manifesto, but am convinced it didn't say “We pledge to fack things up regularly and then further intervene to makes things worse”.

She cannot help herself, can she? Ever the narcissist it is all about her. Instead of behaving with decorum and compassion for Nisman's family, she first ponders on what made him commit suicide including the implication of something 'sordid' and now steps over his body as irrelevant as she plays the victim. It is all about her.

The Argentine people will not easily forget this. Or forgive her behaviour. I am getting messages from my friends there and they are disgusted with her.

@15 Completely. Just as Argentines should understand that criticising their government or individual Argentine posters on here is not criticising everything Argentine.

The impression I get from the media coverage outside of Argentina is astonishment at how inept CFK is, not anti-Argentine sentiment.

    17. Yes, until you throw this latest Patagonia thuggery in on top of Nisman's murder. There are remnants of the fatherland at work in rotting roadkill and toleration of it by the rank and file rotting roadkillian makes them complicit as a whole. The perronistas are neofacists as are those that don't actively oppose them. rotting roadkill is once again about to reap its bitter fruit that is its just reward. Reap it.

@18 No, I don't agree with you. Most people can see the difference between bad governments and their brainwashed followers, and the general population.

If you only read the rabid 'Argentine' posters on this site one could be forgiven for thinking all Argentines were terminally stupid, racist, misogynist and brainwashed nationalists. Fortunately most people are sensible enough to recognise that a troll is a troll is a troll.

rotting road kill is in an advanced state of decay and this is because of the greed, excess, sloth, moral depravity and toleration for the same by the rank and file, average rotting roadkillian. This didn't happen in a vacuum without the most universal complicity of the electorate. The political opposition is just another shade of the same hue. These people have truly cursed themselves.

@11. Have to disagree. She should keep on digging. Maybe she'll reach hell that way. In any event, once the wire cutters have been used to cut the rotting body down, wouldn't you want her at least 50 foot down? And while she's digging, someone could collapse the hole anyway. And perhaps Gollum could be persuaded to try to dig her out.

In any normal judicial process the prosecutor presents his evidence to the court, not the media
So why did Nisman do otherwise? Becuase he rightly feared for his life.
And the so called lawyer Fernández should stop making comments on a case that is sub judice.

    GENTLEMEN-

Life and death of Alberto Nisman: what we know so far
    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/southamerica/argentina/11365053/Life-and-death-of-Alberto-Nisman-what-we-know-so-far.html

We know how Alberto Nisman died
The 51-year-old prosecutor died inside the bathroom of his 13th floor Buenos Aires flat on Sunday Jan 18, between the hours of 3pm and 4pm, according to the autopsy.
He died from a gunshot wound to the head, from a Bersa Thunder .22 calibre handgun.
He had borrowed the gun on Saturday Jan 17 from Diego Lagomarsino, a 35-year-old IT technician he had contracted to help him with computing tasks such as copying folders and backing up archives.
    Read on—
Ms Kirchner has alluded to this, writing in a lengthy post on her website on Thursday that “they used him while he was alive, and then they needed him dead.”
She does not state who she thinks “they” are.

    thank you.........

@40. 'Hate clouds judgement, no doubt about it.' Is that right? Let's follow that thought. Britain discovered and named the Falkland Islands in 1690. In 1765, Britain made its formal claim to the Islands. In 1770/71, spain was forced to admit that it had no claim to the Islands. In 1820, a pirate in the employ of the United Provinces of the River Plate put into the Islands. He had no authority except to operate as a privateer in respect of Spanish vessels. An authority he exceeded when he seized a Portuguese vessel. In 1828, one Luis Vernet obtained British permission to set up a commercial venture on the Islands. No intimation was given that he had any connection to the United Provinces. So he was a cheat. In 1829, the Republic of Buenos Aires, a different legal and political entity, appointed him as political and military commandant. In 1831, Vernet is engaged in piracy. The USS Lexington arrives, determines that piracy has taken place and arrests 7 person. Its captain declares the Islands free from government. In 1832 sends Major Esteban Mestivier to found a penal colony on British territory. Mestivier is murdered by his troops. Britain re-establishes rule in 1833, requiring foreign troops to leave. Only 4 civilians leave. In 1850 Britain and Argentina sign the “Convention between Great Britain and the Argentine Confederation, for the Settlement of existing Differences and the re-establishment of Friendship”. The Falkland Islands are not mentioned. In 1858, argieland is finally recognised as a 'country' by spain. In 1866, the argie vice-president, addressing his Congress, mentions only one difference between argieland and Britain. Compensation payable by argieland. In 1982, argieland illegally invades and occupies the Islands. It was illegal because the UN told it to get off. Three months and British troops kick argies off the Islands. Argieland refuses to repatriate its war dead and, initially, refuses its troops. Argieland lies. Who has cause to hate?

Enrique hatred does blind judgement and we see it in everyone of your posts. However, this you can be certain of, hate will not blind world leaders judgement for your president making deals with known terrorist nations.

It's not enough they kill Nisman, but they have Aerolinas (a government controlled entity) publish the itinerary of the Herald's journalist who broke the story. Next on the hit list. Remind me of the Luthansa theift in the late 70's at laguardia.

Unfotuanately Argentina is a bastard democracy almost masquerading a heriditary monarchy under the guise of a Republic. Peron first then Iasbelita his wife Then the croos eyed penguin followed by his wife. Menem? Officialy a Peronist and who was president of of the peronists during his term? None other than the deposed president Isabel Martínez de Peron whose first carreer was a go-go dancer in Tucuman.
I remember Sr Think crowing over Cristinas last victory -54% of the votes. Now he has changed his mind and supports Binnerman. Plus ca change....?
Until the electorate stops behaving like Gaderine swine intent on suicide and throws out the whole corrupt establishment whose one ambition is to get their snouts and trotters in the slush fund paid for by them through taxation I see very little hope for them as a mature nation

@40. CONTINUED. Now let's take a closer look at 1982 and subsequent years. What did I say? Originally argieland REFUSED to take back more than 11,000 of its troops taken prisoner. I don't know why we didn't shoot the lot. Although WE are civilised. Argieland also refused to repatriate its war dead. Thereby making life difficult for the families of the deceased. But what do they matter? Their children failed. Just like the prisoners failed. A part of the Falkland Islands will always be argieland! Not if WE dig the rotting corpses up and throw them in the ocean for the marine life to feed on.

And what has happened since? Argieland conducts an economic war in contravention of the UN Charter. Argieland likes to quote UNGA resolutions. Conveniently forgetting that all UNGA resolutions are NON-BINDING. This from a country that ignored a UN Security Council resolution! The only type of UN resolution that MUST be obeyed by all UN members. We can go on. Argieland ignores international law. It ignores the WTO. It fails to pay its debts and lies in the process.

And here's a really good one. You should read up on the international legal principle of uti possidetis http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uti_possidetis Read it. If you can understand it. At the end of an armed conflict (e.g. the Falklands War) territory belongs to the party in possession. and who possessed the Falkland Islands, South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands at 14 June 1982? Britain. The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Do you think that CFK and her fellow criminals don't HATE the fact that Britain's sovereignty is now incontrovertible?

Assuming that you're an argie, how good is it being a 'citizen' of a corrupt, criminal, lying 'country'?
