Greece's anti austerity party wins election: one short of an absolute majority

Anti-austerity Syriza party has won Greece's general election, putting the country on a possible collision course with the EU over its massive bailout. With nearly 75% of the votes counted, Syriza is projected to win 149 seats, just two short of an absolute majority, though that number could change. Read full article

    They have formed a government. Listening to the radio on the way to work today and the fear of the EU is not that they leave the Euro, but that that they leave and make a success of it.

    So Grexit or write off most of their debt. Be interesting to see how it plays out

    So France and Germany has got what it deserved,

    they, together bent the rules to allow things like Greece getting in on the nod,

    now it is coming back to haunt them.

    lets see just how much pressure , bribery , threats and demands the EU will put on Greece to make her comply and stay..

    They have learnt nothing from Argentina and what NOT to do. Socialist thinks that money grows on the trees. If Greece doesn't want to pay and leave the EU thats one thing, another is to actually ignore the conditions for the rescue package and keep the Euro as their currency

    Greece is going no where!! and it certainly is not getting out of the EU!!
    one thing is promising anything you like to your voters before the election but another thing is when you are in power after the election and your credit runs out at the end of February who are yer gonna call!!?? to bail you out..
