Argentina's Lower House opposition caucus leaders have rejected the proposed dissolution of the Intelligence Secretariat (SI, formerly known as SIDE), announced Monday evening by President Cristina Fernández, as they consider it was made to “distract attention” from the death of AMIA special prosecutor Alberto Nisman. My thoughts exactly, desparate times call for desparate measures, I expect HMS Dragon will hang around pending the outcome of all this.

I imagine Gollum at least is considering when will he need to runaway from the utter mess he and the rest of the dumb bastards that TMBOA has put into her cabal laughingly referred to as the “government” have caused.

It cannot be much longer as far as he is concerned. I wonder if someone has loaned him a “Bersa 22” yet, strictly for his safety, of course.

#7 that's exactly what I meant when I said she walked onto a path way over her head and capacity. She always had, but this time she really screwed the pooch. Argentina's shit going to be flaky, really flaky now.

It was the government that had him killed....The reason is simple why would the ex SIDE want to make it look a suicide by backing his body against the bathroom door and other porkies??

@7. No-one 'needs' argieland. There are some pricks that appear on here that think argieland can be 'self-sufficient' and go it alone. So why does your country import so much? US$5 billion in cars, US$4 billion in gas, US$4 billion in vehicle parts, US$4 billion in refined petroleum, US$2 billion in telephones, US$1 billion in delivery trucks, US$1 billion in packaged medication, US$1 billion in air and spacecraft and another US$1 billion in computers. And when you have to go without all those?

I doubt you're far from being declared a terrorist state. Consider how you breach the UN Charter with regard to the Falkland Islands.

    Have you read this?

    Article 74
Members of the United Nations also agree that their policy in respect of the territories to which this Chapter applies, no less than in respect of their metropolitan areas, must be based on the general principle of good-neighbourliness, due account being taken of the interests and well-being of the rest of the world, in social, economic, and commercial matters.

And tell us how argieland complies with this part of the UN Charter? By invasion and occupation? By war? By economic sanctions and war? By threats?

Your 'country' is already a terrorist state. It just hasn't been declared yet. Democratic states put up with this sort of situation for years. We put up with https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazi_government for six years. Then we fought back. There was no mercy. There will be no mercy for argieland. You have ONE chance. You know what it is. Destroy the non-humans like Kirchner, Timerman, Puricelli, Capitanich, Kicilloff, Berni and others. Take back your country and then prove to the world that you are 'human'. Not a belligerent, warlike 'Klingon'.

Argentina is also required to respect the islanders right to self-determination after the 1995 East Timor judgment declared that it was erga omnes' placing an obligation on ALL states to respect it.

Argentina is not only rotten, it’s rotten to the core. The Nazis who fled Europe after the war were welcomed in Argentina with open arms. So presumably the Argentinians aren’t only corrupt, they’re also fools. Just where did they think Latinos ranked on the Nazi scale of races? Didn’t they understand that in the eyes of their guests Adolf, Josef and the rest, they were convivial creatures who liked to eat meat and dance the tango, but were infinitely inferior to Aryans? It’s very likely that anti-Semitism arrived in Argentina centuries ago with the first Spanish colonists. You’d think after all this time it would have petered out over there on the other side of the world, where their summer is our winter and vice versa. But you’d be wrong. So what if our embassy in the capital was bombed? And the Jewish community center two years later? What’s the big deal? Was it the end of the world? Yes, it was, for 114 people, not all of whom were Jewish. But you don’t cry over spilled milk, or over a dead Jew.

It's likely that Peron and his followers felt they were inferior to the German über fascists too, but as desperate wannabes, they wanted to be included in the same club as Mussolini, Franco, and Hitler.

Quite a feather in his cap for Peron to have the Aryan Supermen embrace him as a 'brother of convenience''!

No small coincidence that the British had things that Peron wanted.

We know now that he was “a little too big for his jackboots”.

Parts of BA and GBA have been without electricity for a week.
    Can you imagine?

EdeSur is going to declare bankruptcy and EdeNor can't be far behind.

Caracas is going to look like a paradise compared to BA soon...

Better than in the current scale at least.
Not defending the Nazis though, the Allies don't send people to gas chambers though, they just denigrate them and keep them around only for the degrading jobs they don't want to do themselves.

Some of the photos appearing on Mercosur Press are absolutely priceless.

The one above, featuring Sr. Timmerman is a great example:

    1. “ What do I do now ? ”
    2. “ What will she say next ? ”
    3. “ What can I say to still hold my job, and keep my neck intact ? ”
    4. “ Why am I talking to you ? ”

Feel free to add your own caption.

@23 Another couple of captions for Timerman:
“Would Mossad kill one of their own?”
“Can I claim asylum in the US again like I did in the 70s when I feared for my safety?”
