Jaysus and I thought I was a mean spirited, cantankerous old git but you have put me in the shade. I admit I am not the best at sums but I am sure that 2015 - 1765 equals 250. I wonder whether perhaps you may be using an INDEC issue calculator, that would account for the lower answer. Try working it out on paper, sometimes helps

@1. Apply the common sense - all that time to take a cases o the world courts and nothing. A sovereignty claim without a case is an illegitimate claim and w o r t h l e s s .

    Paul.

Hipódromo de San Isidro? Bahahahaha now Flemington is a real racecourse you boludo. Especially as it proceeds San Isidro by nearly 100 years.

In 9 of the past 10 years it has beaten San Isodro's largest ever attendance from all the way back in 1952.

They came to see something that they can't in Argentina. One of the world's most famous horse races. The MELBOURNE Cup.

Yes it even predates the Gran Premio Internacional Carlos Pellegrini by 26 years. And I somehow doubt anyone wins A$6.2 million for anything in Argentina. Yes we can afford to give that away for a bloody horse race. And we can even afford to have a public holiday for it.

So that's a real racecourse with a real race. Not get another example of Argentina's now faded glorious past.

    Watch it and weep: http://youtu.be/cYvZWINN908

You have so much time being unemployed. I'm glad you share it with us. We all need someone to laugh at.

Oh and congratulations Falklands. STILL not Argentine in 2015.

My maths seems to suggest that 1765 is along time before what 1833?

Or could the 182 year you mention be a typo and you mean the Illegal armed invasion of 1982.

Remind me how did that invasion fair?

So how long after 1765 did Argentina come into existence?

    @1:

No, they're right. 1765-2015 is 250 years of LEGAL ownership.

The only ”illegal occupation(s)” occurred when your country attempted to usurp our territory.

Once with your illegal garrison in 1833. Once with an equally illegal invasion and attempted subjugation of the legitimate inhabitants of the Islands.

Once again, you are lying. Please stop lying.

not to mention that in the same jockey club, you have one of the best golf courses and THE BEST polo field in the WORLD.

Erm, why is there a building in the San Isidro Hippodrome named after an Englishman ? A certain Richard Tattersal ? Could this be an epic fail by Paul? I think we should be told.

@1. Just shows what a prat you are, pablo. Do you belive 'everything' the scumbags in the Casa Rosada and the Congress say? The 'racecourse' of Stanley is important. Numbers of argies have been arrested there. Numbers have also been shot dead.
@9. Well, 'you' might want to argue, but I see it more as a place to have a crap. Argie golf courses? Pre-prepared crap holes. Jockey club? The dwarf argie arse-wipers. And I have another idea. Lean back, head back, open mouth. It's called “Eat my shit”. Do be sure you swallow.

Incidentally, I do think it's time for the UK to buy around 200 Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolts. I do like the idea of our pilots flying over Buenos Aires and other argie hovels firing 3,900 depleted uranium rounds per minute. I'm sure we can modify it so that it can carry 50 automatically-loaded magazines. And the Thunderbolt carries missiles as well!

You won't have a racecourse, polo field or jockey club after we've finished. But would you prefer a variable yield, 7,000 mile+ nuclear missile?

You're a fart. Imagine insulting a nation that can demolish your 'country'. Do you have a death wish?

@1 to quote Charles de Visscher, former head of the ICJ 'A State which has ceased to exercise any authority over a territory cannot, by purely verbal protestations, indefinitely maintain its title against another which for a sufficiently long time has exercised the powers and fulfilled the duties of sovereignty in it'

Now even if we are lying, which we aren't, the above quote pretty much destroys Argie claims over the Falklands.

Also, what we have is a small race coarse for amateur horse racing, nothing fancy. www.jockeysroom.com/SanIsidro.htm - This is a larger race course, just not a very prestigious one lol, and as if you could afford to go there anyway.

Also, you keep going on about CT scanners and magnetic resonators. If the Falklands became Argentine, would we be supplied with these or required to get them? Could we even purchase such things in Argentina? LOL I doubt it

Love it the Argentines are so envious that they are trying to compare racecourses. Suprise, suprise a nation of 40 million has a racecourse larger than an island community of 3,000. What next are you going to prove you are better by showing that you have a higher GDP? More CT scanners, more muderers, more trains running per hour?

@30 Perhaps you should educate yourself Pauly, Charles de Visscher was the head of the IJS, his opinions and intellect far out way the third rate journalists you have used as examples. But of course you're to stupid to realise that, you just believe anyone who agrees with you, you would quote a parrot if it said that the Falklands were Argentine. Whereas I quote people of both historical and political significance, because I am smarter than you.

Also you didn't answer my question about the CT scanner, oh well you did try to look smart Pauly, and i suppose trying is all that matters when you're an indoctrinated retard

“ If the Falklands became Argentine, would we be supplied with these or required to get them? ”

According to the rubbish Paul spouts, under Argentine rule every settlement would get a CT scanner and your houses replaced by skyscrapers, but I wouldn't fancy being protected by jet aircraft designed in the 1950s. Still, the Argentine Navy would add to the Jhelum, Lady Liz etc as Stanley harbour would welcome more wrecks, albeit less historically interesting.

The worst thing about San Isidro Jockey Club is that is a private restricted club in an area which needs a wide open green space for the public to enjoy. Walking around it like so many do may be exercise but it's like eating McDonalds on a park bench whilst looking through a restaurant window.....just because you can see it, doesn't mean you can experience it.
