Disclaimer & comment rulesIt is amazing how a yank born trying to sound English has become an expert in Latam affairs and especially over Argentina when he cannot speak properly the Spanish language...
Feb 07th, 2015 - 07:52 am - Link - Report abuse 0Can anyone tell me please WTF is he trying to say in Spanish????
“Es el concepto de “nadar” cualqueir jistoria”...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbQ2VGLdOWw
Ok, I know he has used Google Translate API and with a couple of articles from Clarin Miente and La Destrucción he has become an expert in Argies affairs.
Well what can we do media has become one of the less professional professions on these days...
What encourage me to introduce our top advisors on British affairs...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbQ2VGLdOWw
Who says that Britain is a shit hole and not even a tree can grow properly...
Or something like this, sorry... because our top advisor’s English is like mr John Paul Rathbone Spanish...
Yeah that post made no sense in English. Just lots of rambling.
Feb 07th, 2015 - 08:09 am - Link - Report abuse 0Anyways the article.... WTF CFK is a lawyer?
What incompetent shithole of a university took the bribe for that farcical degree? Because she would have to be one of the most inept and intellectually challenged lawyers on this entire planet. Honestly she's as dumb as dogshit and hence perfectly suited to be the president of Argentina.
But a lawyer? Bahahahahahahahaha this is a joke isn't it?
Yep, its true, and her successful law career is her explanation for having acquired millions whilst in office. The only problem is that she never actually graduated, she doesn't have a degree. Her career started with a cover up and now its ending with one.
Feb 07th, 2015 - 08:42 am - Link - Report abuse 0Nice to see you back Dany, I've missed your sweeping generalisations, and comedy deflection tactics. How's things in Argentina? All good?
Dunny! ”when he cannot speak properly the Spanish language..” !!!
Feb 07th, 2015 - 10:25 am - Link - Report abuse 0Coming from someone who cannot speak properly the ENGLISH LANGUAGE, thats rich !!!
Dumbkopf!
Bahahahahaha…
Nah, if David Kelly didn't dent democracy in the UK, this will only dent in the already dented...

Feb 07th, 2015 - 11:09 am - Link - Report abuse 0What do you expect???
My father was so poor in Germany that he cannot afford to send me to Pakistan to learn proper English...
So he had to send me to a second cheaper option in Ukistan and to be precise the city of Londonistan...
Is that my fault? Absolutely not.
But I always remember what my English professor in Ukistan told me...
Little Danny you will never become an English diplomatic, PM or King of Britain with your shitty English that is a fact, I am afraid.
So (I asked) and Maggie?
Well Dany there are some exception to the rule... and he keep going...
But I can assure you that with your shitty English you have learnt here you will be able to have fabulous conversation with people from some BOTs.
I guess we are having a conversation. Don’t to think so?
So my English professor was absolutely right after all....
...and Stevie deflects @5
Feb 07th, 2015 - 11:17 am - Link - Report abuse 0Stevie, you Dung Booger, and Voice, car pooling to work, again?
I'm not deflecting, merely drawing parallels. You guys never ever even discussed David Kelly, much less your democracy inspired media....

Feb 07th, 2015 - 11:31 am - Link - Report abuse 0I'm glad to see that the FT is giving a good background on the murder and then corruption of CFK's government.
For so long, Argentina, the Rogue State, flew under the radar of the US politicians and the U.S. public, especially.
Now, by the very act of a clumsy attempt to stifle legal and very public allegations against her, CFK has brought the Internationsl Spotlight to bear !
I see the full reserve of incompetent Argie Trolls is being thrown at this, to deflect criticism and distract from discussion of the corrupt President and her minions.
You might be right, but at the most just as corrupt and murdering... No, actually not.... Not murdering... Corrupt mayhap, but murdering...
Feb 07th, 2015 - 11:40 am - Link - Report abuse 0Together with USA, the UK went on an odyssey to kill women and children for oil, lying to the whole world it was about democracy and human rights, while selling weapons to Saudi Arabia...
Now, THAT's corrupt.
THAT's murdering.
I understand it's hard for you to accept it....
Actually, no, I don't...
Christian Rubilar studied law at an argentine university?
Feb 07th, 2015 - 11:55 am - Link - Report abuse 0Oh great, Voice, Stevie, Yul etc etc all the retards are back from their vacation.
Feb 07th, 2015 - 03:06 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Democracy has clearly failed in Argentina. They're nothing more than a Narco State.
It will be interesting to watch this roll out.
I knew 2015 would be fun to watch but this is just icing on the cake.
Perfect summation by the FT. Cannot see anything to criticise?

Feb 07th, 2015 - 03:51 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Shees
Argentina not what it used to be, similar to Arab countries, you try to help them and they don't appreciate the help. The UK gave them railways and what did they do fucked them up. One fucked up country as a whole. Why can't the population see that it is a police state ruled by the corrupt few. Nismans murder will never be solved. Justice is a dirty word in Argentina.
Feb 07th, 2015 - 04:27 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Like David Kelly's murder, it wont be solved either...
Feb 07th, 2015 - 05:12 pm - Link - Report abuse 017. Rgs like the corruption. It is the only way they know how to function. It is a society that is rotten to its very core.
Feb 07th, 2015 - 05:20 pm - Link - Report abuse 0It is only going to get worse.
As the economy contiues to collapse and they go into hyperinflation and depression the Fascism they so love will become more apparent.
Watch and see
Golf corruption is just another tenet of South American dictocracy. every government has it but not to the level that exists in argentina. Corruption to Argentina is what balance of power is in democracies.
Feb 07th, 2015 - 05:26 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Why does the foreign press simply state the obvious?? That it was CFK that most likely gave the orders to terminate Nisman...
Feb 07th, 2015 - 05:56 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Even supposing for one single minute Stiuso wished to hurt the government by taking Nisman down hours before he testified in Congress, why make it look like a suicide?? They would have shot him a couple of times and make a mess of his apartment... Make it obvious that he was murdered instead of staging a suicide”- Making it seem a suicide only benefits the government. And in fact it was its first intention from Sunday night a month ago.
What is happening to common sense and logic in this world??
UK and USA set the standards... And now you cry?

Feb 07th, 2015 - 08:43 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Democracy in Argentina will be seen when pigs fly.
Anyone else notice Pablo disappears and Stevie appears? And Dany Bergeron? Sort of like the coincidental murder of Nisman. Subtleties are not there forte's now is it? All their language skills that they seem to think and imply special(yet they know no one else's), they are somewhat .....woodish now are they not?
Exit...stage left.......now watch Pablo appear that the obvious has been stated.
Don't be a fool Poppy, you keep sending me emails, telling me to come back to the thread, that you miss me.
Feb 07th, 2015 - 09:28 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Now that I am here, you tell me I'm, Pablo, Dany and whom else?
Got a question for you, what is the difference between Nisman death in Argentina and Kelly's in the UK?
Simple, really, Nisman was a prosecutor trying to investigate your fearless leader. He dead now. ;)

@25
Feb 07th, 2015 - 10:58 pm - Link - Report abuse 0So put your Halgrim Halgrimmson hat on and tell us me why you think Alberto Nisman is dead.
I got bad news for John Paul and some of those who post here.
Feb 07th, 2015 - 11:02 pm - Link - Report abuse 0John Paul's collection of assumptions leading to his bombastic, definitive conclusion: Argentina...remains at best a flawed democracy and at worst a rogue state. (Wow!!) is not sustained for anybody who bothers to search the story in depth.
Alberto Jaime Stiuso, one of the last persons to talk to Nisman just before his untimely death is failing to appear.
The government has relieved him from his duty to secrecy as former intelligence services head fired two months ago. This, for a former spy known to possess enough information to blackmail politicians which has guaranteed his position for 40 years!
How many governments would dare to do the same and face the risk of having every single misstep in the last 10 years revealed to a prosecutor?
Not many I bet. Kudos to Cristina.
So you were Ron Stevie? I emailed you once.....only once and never asked you to come back. Send me that email ok?
Feb 07th, 2015 - 11:41 pm - Link - Report abuse 0@28
Feb 07th, 2015 - 11:46 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Enrique, are you serious?
Like Stiuso is going to fall for that. Oh yes, now that he's relieved from keeping secrecy, he will start talking about everybody and everything since 1972 ... really?
Poppy, I can take a bloody screenshot and upload it to a random server for everybody to see.
Feb 07th, 2015 - 11:54 pm - Link - Report abuse 0You can email me all you want, I have no issues whatsoever with that, but drop the you are him and her attitude. It doesn't fit you.

I think Nisman is dead because of a bullet... Like Kelly died of pills and cut wrists.... What's your point?
31
Feb 08th, 2015 - 12:20 am - Link - Report abuse 0...and STEVIE plays 'thicko'!!
Screenshot of what?
Thanks for the offer...
What would that prove?
...died of a bullet...
Stevie, incapable of answering??
Dodging the question??
Next, you'll check my spelling for more excuses.
Let me re-phrase that question, Why was Nisman deemed such a threat that he was murdered before presenting his findings that CFK was involved in a criminal coverup?
Same as Kelly but in smaller scale?
Feb 08th, 2015 - 12:36 am - Link - Report abuse 0Well I guess that we will all agree in something...
Feb 08th, 2015 - 12:58 am - Link - Report abuse 0Lets assume that CFK ordered the killing of Nisman using her secret service staff...
My gosh! The bloody agents are the best of the best in the world...
Considering that...
1-They have blocked 160 remote surveillance cameras installed in the LePark building (according with the statement of the Lepark admin and Clarin publication) controlled by a private surveillance company without been detected and without leaving any foot print in the process.
2-They had also passed though 10 trained armed bodyguards without any problem to reach the target.
3- They have managed to bring the murderous weapon using his closer collaborator and friend (Lagormarsino).
4- They’ve managed to kill him without any trace of fight or sign of struggle by the victim.
5- No enough with that, and to produce one of the best spy work in the world they managed to set up the body of Nisman in a bathroom where there where no any other exit door than the entry door blocking the door from inside using victim’s body.
6- They have left the place and none was aware of the incident.
I don’t know you guys but I will prefer to be targeted by the CIA,GRU, SVR, MI6, HaMossad, SI, etc at the same time than to be target for an Argie spy.
They seem to be the best in the world and pretty dangerous....
Dany,
Feb 08th, 2015 - 01:09 am - Link - Report abuse 0That would be Le Parc to begin with. Everything in your post after that is just rubbish.
So what is your point? Are you trying to imply that the perps belonged to some foreign secret service?
Don't you think we've got enough nac&pop trained killers?
Go snippet.........and if I don't stop........shall I quake in fear like the USA from Argenholes warning ? I know.....you will stalk me in Buenos Aires .
Feb 08th, 2015 - 01:33 am - Link - Report abuse 0Now, if you want to get informed about Argentina, why the fuck would you read an article written by Rat bone, when you can read Clarín, La Nación, El Cronista, Ambito, BAE, BA Herald, or the newspaper you want?
Feb 08th, 2015 - 01:48 am - Link - Report abuse 0All of them, for or against the government, have a lot more information and a lot better sources than this guy who cannot even write Buenos Aires correctly.

#34 Danny Berger
Feb 08th, 2015 - 02:52 am - Link - Report abuse 0You have put a number of facts that for anybody interested in getting to the bottom of what happened to Nisman should at least be of some interest.
That won't be appreciated in this boardroom, where most habitues don't want to hear anything different from what they already concluded: that Nisman was murdered by the Argentine government.
People here don't want to be bothered by facts getting on the way of their conclusion. These analysts just want to comfort each other venting about how the current Argentine government is sooo bad--but will not hesitate to show their contempt for the country all together.
If tomorrow reality comes up differently, they'll still come up with some other explanation showing they were still right.
Paul Cedrón is right: why bother reading Rathbone when you can read Clarín?
Oh Enrique ... because everybody ought to think that Cristina's gov't is soooooo good!

Low and behold. As I said to Stevie in a December email.....The greatest trick the devil conveyed was convincing the world he died or did not exist. Do you not agree Stevie?
Facts are a funny thing, said the red fox spitting feathers out of his mouth. Yet, the investigation into the eaten chickens in the coop will continue despite the likelihood the outcomes will probably never be known, the grey fox explained to the remaining chickens, no need to fear. And the chickens went on their merry way.....pecking at the sparse seeds on the ground, tossed there by the foxes.
Argentina is a terrorist state. Her day of reckoning is nearing. If Argentina remembers their assassination play at the UN, perhaps Kirchner will need to monitor her moves very carefully. Israel takes note of the smallest things let alone aiding and dealing with Iran who openly wants to destroy if not nuke Israel. Kirchner may never leave SA again.

....or he's bullsh!tting and making the whole thing up.
He has a history of being a CFK/Peronist apologist.
And what about the guards who were interviewed about why they were NOT on detail during these events and the two who were fired. talking about re-inventing facts.

Feb 08th, 2015 - 04:02 am - Link - Report abuse 0It would be conceivable to think she could happily live under the circle of suspicion or perpetrating such an act. But she would never be able to go on as someone who aide in international terrorism. Live with suspicion or live with Kaddafi.

That is pure viral marketing strategy played excellently by Her Majestic Chistina Elizabet I from Argentina...
She with one twit was able to spread all over the world agries agreement with China that consolidates Argentina like one of the prime strategic partner in America.
Any marketing company in the world would be amazed to archive the same viral communication work with just a single twit.
In media and marketing there is one important rule....
Doesn’t matter if the critic you, doesn’t matter if they talk badly about you the only thing that really matters is that all them keep talking about.
If none talks about you, you are a walking dead...

Peronists have a slightly different take on he matter, in that there is an apparent belief that passing for an offensive asshole gains you brownie points, but this only applies amongst other assholes, and nobody really cares about that otherwise, because they're all assholes anyway.

You cannot buy votes with cash in USAMEX because all are broke and the only source of money is a plastic credit card.
If you pull out a $100 in a supermarket in USAMEX they call the cops because only drug dealers use cash.
Well after all they are the only really wealthy people on theses days...
But I’m sure you can buy politicians and Judges in USAMEX and they seem to be very cheap.
If you don’t believe me ask Paul Singer, Kennet Dart, the Koch brothers ah! theses guys really buy politicians in large amounts.

@ FI_Frost
What world are you talking about?
News papers that none reads anymore, is your idea of The World?
None cares anymore about what the traditional media says they don’t even can sell to their own crappy followers subscriptions and all are more or less facing bankruptcy because their puppet clients are dying or in the process because mostly were born in time of WWII.
The world have changed Mr. Frosty the older conservative people that have ruined this world are dying and the new generations are smarter.
Lest see and example La Nacion in a lucky day may be can really sell 50.000 copies.
I know you are going to tell me that they report as copies 100k, etc...
But in media there is a trick because these indicates the number of copyrighted copies they have paid for and not what really will be sold.
So in other words any idiot in underwear in a video in youtube has more followers than all media together.
Ah! you don’t believe me see this shit,

@8. We're good at so many things. For instance, shall we draw a parallel between your 'place' and Genghis Khan? We can draw another parallel between your 'place' and Hitler. Your 'place' and Stalin. Your 'place' and your pals, Hussein and Gaddafi. Your 'place' and the nutjob in North Korea. Should be careful of those 'parallels'. Your 'place' has nothing to be proud of!
@10. Such a shame, for you, that you're so easily disproved. Put your 'abilities' to use. Find articles on the actual discovery of chemical WMDs in Iraq. While you're at it, research the chemical production factories in Iraq and who controls them now. Because Iraq just carried on lying.
@22. Oh no. It's China and Russia that set the standard. And argieland follows the example of lies.
@25. Simple really. Kelly wasn't about to expose the argie head of state for what she is. The slag.
@28. And now Stiuso can't be found. Where do you dispose of corpses?
@34. Fool. Still, at least we know that killing you without trace would be easy.
@39. Don't be ridiculous. The whitewash hasn't worked. Everyone knows that the argie government habitually eliminates people as a matter of course.
@46. Oh dear. Where is 'here'? Prove it. Actually, by definition argieland is a pariah state.
@50. Because it cheats! Pay the debts. US$100 billion.
@55. Really? Gouge your eyes out.
If you pull out a $100 in a supermarket in USAMEX they call the cops because only drug dealers use cash.

Fun little face, $100 peso bill is now 2/3 of the total circulation of currency in Argentina!
Feb 08th, 2015 - 03:21 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Atm's are failing because you have to take out so many bills the parts are getting worn out much quicker than ATMs any other country.
They are having trouble importing the parts they need to keep them running.
There are 12000 cars sitting unfinished due to imported parts being delayed. They are now Cash Before Delivery because its estimated BCRA owes U$6B 120+ days late.
Its only going to get worse.

Feb 08th, 2015 - 04:19 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Actually the problem with the ATMs in Argentina right now is that they run out cash immediately and most of the time they are empty. It sounds insane but they are still using the same denomination of notes since the early 1990s when one peso equaled a dollar. Many small and medium size stores don’t have card registers and a large chunk of the economy is in black you always need cash. As the Ks have not upgraded the denomination of notes to say $ 500 peso or $1000 peso notes out of the fear that they would actually recognize inflation, that means that there is a lot of volume of paper wondering around and ATMs need to be refilled almost constantly with little purchasable value paper. That is why the ATMs are not working properly

Argentina WAS paying its debts before a NY judge blocked payments in an effort to obtain 100 per cent payment for a tiny group of creditors known as vultures, representing about 7.6 per cent of the country's total foreign debt.
Let's accelerate the bond payments.

And have the audacity to brag to the world ass hole kirchner lowered debt to GDP ratio........yeah by defaulting and screwing bondholders. Where is your sense of responsibility....or pride. Enricques,
You know full well that is a specious and misleading argument- Arg was only paying SOME of the Bondholders money - the 93% who were bullied into accepting 30% OF WHAT THEY WERE OWED, by an Arg. Gov. take it or you get nothing ultimatum.
That was $70b that DISAPPEARED.
The remaining 7% of bondholders, ARG. HAS REFUSED TO PAY AT ALL.
The Courts of the Jurisdiction ARG. AGREED TO ABIDE BY, has declared ARGENTINA HAS BROKEN THE TERMS OF THE BONDS AND MUST PAY THE HOLDOUTS IN FULL.
ARGENTINA- pay your debts!

@96. Tell us the last time that the US or UK got dragged in front of a court to be forced to pay their debts. Make sure you have some VERY good references. And argieland has been trying to evade its debts for how many years? The JUDGEMENT is against you. And YOU chose the jurisdiction. Pay up. The whole US$100 billion!
@101. You're a prat. Follow the process. You owe £100. You borrow £120 to give yourself some leeway. With interest, that's £142. Why wouldn't the £42 count? After all, we're paying someone to be able to use their money. Oh, I get it. It's not the argie way. People should loan you their money for nothing? Especially when you have no intention of repaying it!
@105. I don't understand your problem? Every day the interest of the US$100 billion argie debt increases. Are you thinking someone's going to turn round and tell you to forget it? Won't be happening. You're paying the Paris Club. All the countries you owe money to hate you. That's quite a few. And you will be made to suffer!

Pagina boi go back to sucking papa's dick....what you know best. These are the winter's I grew up with and we get these winter's after ever El Nino....know as La nino....named after you.

At least something is starting to move in that front.

Feb 10th, 2015 - 04:11 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Snow in Boston in Winter
Gee who da thunk it
Such a sad little nobody.
No less in February, the snowiest month of the year. I think you are grasping at your asshole when you have to resort to seeking satisfaction in Mother Nature, know your government is not going to give it to you. Of course, he's not in Argentina anyway.
Feb 10th, 2015 - 04:20 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Pagina boi....or Cruise ConTroll, and yet we still have electricity. If we must talk Mother Nature........hows the flooding? RGs piss themselves when it rains.
Yeah the Kidiots think a little snow or rain will shut down the USA. I've lived in my place for 8 years and never lost electricity. In Argentina I lost it at least every other month, and if not electricity it was internet, or the gas stations had no gas or the Atms no cash or the restaurants not taking credit cards

Poor Pagina boi, even his distractions are rubbish, not too good at anything are you tobi?
hush now boi, the adults are talking.
He's disgruntled and confused because his pagination is still a penis. His papa beats him every time he still finds it there.
Feb 10th, 2015 - 10:03 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Actually I think Toby had a job at a Winery to talk to tourists and they fired him a couple years ago and he hasn't found another one.
Feb 10th, 2015 - 10:29 pm - Link - Report abuse 0That's why he is bitter about tourists.
He places the blame on them and not on the crazy policies of the Gov't that have ruined every viable enterprise in the country.
Watch how many hotels and restaurants close down this year
The only tourists that are left are other SoAms with no $ to spend.
The worst kind of tourists
Hence his so called Vinters knowledge.........from a winery tour guide to a vinter.......only in his mind.
Feb 11th, 2015 - 01:34 am - Link - Report abuse 0Pagination in 165 fucking auto correct on my phone.......lol.
I read the ambassador in London, Castro wrote an editorial on this article. Now a real administration would not have even paid it any attention. They, the K-holes respond to everyone but their own people, even Hollywood and athletes.
167. Auto correct is horrible. I send out text that make no sense at all. I even changed the settings on my phone to try to make it better and it only made it worse. I've started just using the voice recognition feature to do all the typing for me. It seems to work better.
Feb 11th, 2015 - 01:33 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Anyhoo, If you've watched Toby over the years he went from a person coming on here to post and debate with some humor and insight to a very bitter, very xenophobic, full of hate posts. The devolution happened about 2 years ago just about when everything started to go to sh*t in the country. This is why I think he lost his job dealing with tourists.
When I lived there the best jobs were given to people who spoke English and maybe some other language. Now those jobs have disappeared as the businesses downsized or closed. I hear the famous shopping streets in BA look like a ghost town. This is probably the make or break year for most tourist centric businesses. My friends travel a lot and not one of them is talking about going to Argentina. Their time is over for a long while. The only tourists they'll have are from Peru, Colombia, Chile, and those people can't spend like the USA UK EU tourists. It is a different world for them now and it is not looking too bright.
They are fast approaching Caracas. I think after the elections it will break.
Let's see.
@168 - What happened with NML releasing the data about gov officials bank accounts yesterday?
