It is amazing how a yank born trying to sound English has become an expert in Latam affairs and especially over Argentina when he cannot speak properly the Spanish language...

Can anyone tell me please WTF is he trying to say in Spanish????

“Es el concepto de “nadar” cualqueir jistoria”...

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbQ2VGLdOWw

Ok, I know he has used Google Translate API and with a couple of articles from Clarin Miente and La Destrucción he has become an expert in Argies affairs.

Well what can we do media has become one of the less professional professions on these days...

What encourage me to introduce our top advisors on British affairs...

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbQ2VGLdOWw

Who says that Britain is a shit hole and not even a tree can grow properly...

Or something like this, sorry... because our top advisor’s English is like mr John Paul Rathbone Spanish...

Yeah that post made no sense in English. Just lots of rambling.

Anyways the article.... WTF CFK is a lawyer?

What incompetent shithole of a university took the bribe for that farcical degree? Because she would have to be one of the most inept and intellectually challenged lawyers on this entire planet. Honestly she's as dumb as dogshit and hence perfectly suited to be the president of Argentina.

But a lawyer? Bahahahahahahahaha this is a joke isn't it?

  • Orbit

Yep, its true, and her “successful” law career is her explanation for having acquired millions whilst in office. The only problem is that she never actually graduated, she doesn't have a degree. Her career started with a cover up and now its ending with one.

Nice to see you back Dany, I've missed your sweeping generalisations, and comedy deflection tactics. How's things in Argentina? All good?

    @ CaptainSilver

    What do you expect???

My father was so poor in Germany that he cannot afford to send me to Pakistan to learn proper English...

So he had to send me to a second cheaper option in Ukistan and to be precise the city of Londonistan...

Is that my fault? Absolutely not.

But I always remember what my English professor in Ukistan told me...

Little Danny you will never become an English diplomatic, PM or King of Britain with your shitty English that is a fact, I am afraid.

    So (I asked) and Maggie?

Well Dany there are some exception to the rule... and he keep going...

But I can assure you that with your shitty English you have learnt here you will be able to have fabulous conversation with people from some BOTs.

I guess we are having a conversation. Don’t to think so?

So my English professor was absolutely right after all....

I'm glad to see that the FT is giving a good background on the murder and then corruption of CFK's government.

For so long, Argentina, the “Rogue State”, flew under the radar of the US politicians and the U.S. public, especially.

Now, by the very act of a clumsy attempt to stifle legal and very public allegations against her, CFK has brought the Internationsl Spotlight to bear !

I see the full reserve of incompetent Argie Trolls is being thrown at this, to deflect criticism and distract from discussion of the corrupt President and her minions.

You might be right, but at the most just as corrupt and murdering... No, actually not.... Not murdering... Corrupt mayhap, but murdering...

Together with USA, the UK went on an odyssey to kill women and children for oil, lying to the whole world it was about democracy and human rights, while selling weapons to Saudi Arabia...

    Now, THAT's corrupt.
    THAT's murdering.

I understand it's hard for you to accept it....

    Actually, no, I don't...

One fucked up country as a whole. Why can't the population see that it is a police state ruled by the corrupt few. Nismans murder will never be solved. Justice is a dirty word in Argentina.

Why does the foreign press simply state the obvious?? That it was CFK that most likely gave the orders to terminate Nisman...

Even supposing for one single minute Stiuso wished to hurt the government by taking Nisman down hours before he testified in Congress, why make it look like a suicide?? They would have shot him a couple of times and make a mess of his apartment... Make it obvious that he was murdered instead of staging a suicide”- Making it seem a suicide only benefits the government. And in fact it was its first intention from Sunday night a month ago.

What is happening to common sense and logic in this world??

I got bad news for John Paul and some of those who post here.
John Paul's collection of assumptions leading to his bombastic, definitive conclusion: “Argentina...remains at best a flawed democracy and at worst a rogue state.” (Wow!!) is not sustained for anybody who bothers to search the story in depth.
Alberto “Jaime” Stiuso, one of the last persons to talk to Nisman just before his untimely death is failing to appear.
The government has relieved him from his duty to secrecy as former intelligence services head fired two months ago. This, for a former spy known to possess enough information to blackmail politicians which has guaranteed his position for 40 years!
How many governments would dare to do the same and face the risk of having every single misstep in the last 10 years revealed to a prosecutor?
Not many I bet. Kudos to Cristina.

Well I guess that we will all agree in something...

Lets assume that CFK ordered the killing of Nisman using her secret service staff...

My gosh! The bloody agents are the best of the best in the world...

    Considering that...

1-They have blocked 160 remote surveillance cameras installed in the LePark building (according with the statement of the Lepark admin and Clarin publication) controlled by a private surveillance company without been detected and without leaving any foot print in the process.

2-They had also passed though 10 trained armed bodyguards without any problem to reach the target.

3- They have managed to bring the murderous weapon using his closer collaborator and friend (Lagormarsino).

4- They’ve managed to kill him without any trace of fight or sign of struggle by the victim.

5- No enough with that, and to produce one of the best spy work in the world they managed to set up the body of Nisman in a bathroom where there where no any other exit door than the entry door blocking the door from inside using victim’s body.

6- They have left the place and none was aware of the incident.

I don’t know you guys but I will prefer to be targeted by the CIA,GRU, SVR, MI6, HaMossad, SI, etc at the same time than to be target for an Argie spy.

They seem to be the best in the world and pretty dangerous....

You have put a number of facts that for anybody interested in getting to the bottom of what happened to Nisman should at least be of some interest.
That won't be appreciated in this boardroom, where most habitues don't want to hear anything different from what they already concluded: that Nisman was murdered by the Argentine government.
People here don't want to be bothered by facts getting on the way of their conclusion. These “analysts” just want to comfort each other venting about how the current Argentine government is sooo bad--but will not hesitate to show their contempt for the country all together.
If tomorrow reality comes up differently, they'll still come up with some other explanation showing they were still right.

    As I said in #24:

Exit...stage left.......now watch Pablo appear that the obvious has been stated.

Low and behold. As I said to Stevie in a December email.....“The greatest trick the devil conveyed was convincing the world he died or did not exist. Do you not agree Stevie?”

Facts are a funny thing, said the red fox spitting feathers out of his mouth. Yet, the investigation into the eaten chickens in the coop will continue despite the likelihood the outcomes will probably never be known, the grey fox explained to the remaining chickens, no need to fear. And the chickens went on their merry way.....pecking at the sparse seeds on the ground, tossed there by the foxes.

Argentina is a terrorist state. Her day of reckoning is nearing. If Argentina remembers their assassination play at the UN, perhaps Kirchner will need to monitor her moves very carefully. Israel takes note of the smallest things let alone aiding and dealing with Iran who openly wants to destroy if not nuke Israel. Kirchner may never leave SA again.

It would be conceivable to think she could happily live under the circle of suspicion or perpetrating such an act. But she would never be able to go on as someone who aide in international terrorism. She yells international at one country at a time, but the world, the free world is aligned in exterminating terrorism, and this would include her. The choice was simple for her. Doesn’t matter if the critic you, doesn’t matter if they talk badly about you the only thing that really matters is that all them keep talking about.

Anybody who actually does know anything about media and marketing will tell you that this is a myth. Only an idiot believes that passing for an idiot is a matter of no importance.

Peronists have a slightly different take on he matter, in that there is an apparent belief that passing for an offensive asshole gains you brownie points, but this only applies amongst other assholes, and nobody really cares about that otherwise, because they're all assholes anyway.

Why would anyone be concerned about the global image of CFK? She doesn't need to care, Argentina stays out of everyone's business, and what everyone else thinks is irrelevant.

But it's good people here brought the debt subject back. It had been a while... How much money has Singer seen yet? Anyone seen him recently?

    hahahahahahaha

Next up is the Arg asset list outside of Arg so then he can take them one by one and throw the filthy scumbag Ks out on the street.

You cannot buy votes with cash in USAMEX because all are broke and the only source of money is a plastic credit card.

If you pull out a $100 in a supermarket in USAMEX they call the cops because only drug dealers use cash.

Well after all they are the only really wealthy people on theses days...

But I’m sure you can buy politicians and Judges in USAMEX and they seem to be very cheap.

If you don’t believe me ask Paul Singer, Kennet Dart, the Koch brothers ah! theses guys really buy politicians in large amounts.

    @ FI_Frost

What world are you talking about?

News papers that none reads anymore, is your idea of The World?

None cares anymore about what the traditional media says they don’t even can sell to their own crappy followers subscriptions and all are more or less facing bankruptcy because their puppet clients are dying or in the process because mostly were born in time of WWII.

The world have changed Mr. Frosty the older conservative people that have ruined this world are dying and the new generations are smarter.

Lest see and example La Nacion in a lucky day may be can really sell 50.000 copies.

I know you are going to tell me that they report as copies 100k, etc...

But in media there is a trick because these indicates the number of copyrighted copies they have paid for and not what really will be sold.

So in other words any idiot in underwear in a video in youtube has more followers than all media together.

@1. 'Can anyone tell me please WTF is he trying to say in Spanish????' Nope. Do your own research. Proper people don't speak gibberish (aka spanish).
@5. Unfortunately for your psychosis, the UK is, more accurately, ENGLAND. What the United States would like to be, but bigger. As for argieland, it IS a dent. By analogy, about 50 foot deep. With a crack at the bottom. Still, we can always hope for an asteroid to impact it!
@6. No. You're still shitty. Would you like to correct the position? Lie down on your back with your head under a piledriver. And cut your hands off!
@8. We're good at so many things. For instance, shall we draw a parallel between your 'place' and Genghis Khan? We can draw another parallel between your 'place' and Hitler. Your 'place' and Stalin. Your 'place' and your pals, Hussein and Gaddafi. Your 'place' and the nutjob in North Korea. Should be careful of those 'parallels'. Your 'place' has nothing to be proud of!
@10. Such a shame, for you, that you're so easily disproved. Put your 'abilities' to use. Find articles on the actual discovery of chemical WMDs in Iraq. While you're at it, research the chemical production factories in Iraq and who controls them now. Because Iraq just carried on lying.
@22. Oh no. It's China and Russia that set the standard. And argieland follows the example of lies.
@25. Simple really. Kelly wasn't about to expose the argie head of state for what she is. The slag.
@28. And now Stiuso can't be found. Where do you dispose of corpses?
@34. Fool. Still, at least we know that killing you without trace would be easy.
@39. Don't be ridiculous. The whitewash hasn't worked. Everyone knows that the argie government habitually eliminates people as a matter of course.

Fun little face, $100 peso bill is now 2/3 of the total circulation of currency in Argentina!
Atm's are failing because you have to take out so many bills the parts are getting worn out much quicker than ATMs any other country.
They are having trouble importing the parts they need to keep them running.

There are 12000 cars sitting unfinished due to imported parts being delayed. They are now Cash Before Delivery because its estimated BCRA owes U$6B 120+ days late.

Its only going to get worse.

    87.
Actually the problem with the ATMs in Argentina right now is that they run out cash immediately and most of the time they are empty. It sounds insane but they are still using the same denomination of notes since the early 1990s when one peso equaled a dollar. Many small and medium size stores don’t have card registers and a large chunk of the economy is in black you always need cash. As the Ks have not upgraded the denomination of notes to say $ 500 peso or $1000 peso notes out of the fear that they would actually recognize inflation, that means that there is a lot of volume of paper wondering around and ATMs need to be refilled almost constantly with little purchasable value paper. That is why the ATMs are not working properly

You know full well that is a specious and misleading argument- Arg was only paying SOME of the Bondholders money - the 93% who were bullied into accepting 30% OF WHAT THEY WERE OWED, by an Arg. Gov. “take it or you get nothing” ultimatum.

Actually I think Toby had a job at a Winery to talk to tourists and they fired him a couple years ago and he hasn't found another one.
That's why he is bitter about tourists.
He places the blame on them and not on the crazy policies of the Gov't that have ruined every viable enterprise in the country.
Watch how many hotels and restaurants close down this year
The only tourists that are left are other SoAms with no $ to spend.

I read the ambassador in London, Castro wrote an editorial on this article. Now a real administration would not have even paid it any attention. They, the K-holes respond to everyone but their own people, even Hollywood and athletes.

    167. Auto correct is horrible. I send out text that make no sense at all. I even changed the settings on my phone to try to make it better and it only made it worse. I've started just using the voice recognition feature to do all the typing for me. It seems to work better.

Anyhoo, If you've watched Toby over the years he went from a person coming on here to post and debate with some humor and insight to a very bitter, very xenophobic, full of hate posts. The devolution happened about 2 years ago just about when everything started to go to sh*t in the country. This is why I think he lost his job dealing with tourists.
When I lived there the best jobs were given to people who spoke English and maybe some other language. Now those jobs have disappeared as the businesses downsized or closed. I hear the “famous” shopping streets in BA look like a ghost town. This is probably the make or break year for most “tourist” centric businesses. My friends travel a lot and not one of them is talking about going to Argentina. Their time is over for a long while. The only tourists they'll have are from Peru, Colombia, Chile, and those people can't spend like the USA UK EU tourists. It is a different world for them now and it is not looking too bright.
They are fast approaching Caracas. I think after the elections it will break.
    Let's see.
