A large Los Angeles public hospital has notified scores of patients they were possibly exposed to a drug-resistant bacteria “superbug” during endoscopy procedures that infected seven patients and may have contributed to two deaths. Read full article

    Resistance to bactriums is purely down to the doctors handing these drugs out as if they are sweets and failing to impress on the muppets they prescribed them to that they had to take the entire course.

    Stupid is as stupid does.

    Now one of the most powerful tools they had to fight REAL infections (as distinct to colds) looks like it is of no further use.
