It is only FOX News after all - it's not surprising.

Interesting the headline calls him a “news figure”, not a journalist.

Perhaps O'Rielly “misspoke” in the manner of the other known liar, Hilary Clinton, who claimed she had to walk “under sniper fire” during one foreign visit!

What is it with these utter morons? Do they think their lies will never come to light. Perhaps that is where the hole in her head came from.

I gave up watching FOX News when they portrayed some college undergraduates as being against the American people when they questioned the veracity of the administration over Iraq and Afghanistan.

    @ChrisR

Yeah, I lost all respect for Clinton when she used the 'misspoke' excuse. She just flat out lied and didn't have the character to admit it. O'Reilly seems to have fallen for the old “I'm more macho than you” Foreign Correspondent fantasy. He might believe BA was a 'combat zone' after the war. No-one else does...

Anyone who have ever seen FOX news understands why it's called FOX entertainment network. I mean look who owns it.

Aside from this, the real problem with the media in the USA is they want to be embedded everywhere the military goes and most of the time they are a fucking hindrance so most of the time they don't go on significant or sensitive operations. Even then, they report ”I did this...I went there and lose sight of the news the is suppose to be reported....they become the news in their reports. Id they want to play macho, come across as a fucking hero....whatever that is and appear brave to their audience they should have enlisted rather than being what they are....parasites.

Also let's not forget the majority of the FOX target audience....redneck, southern Baptist Americans watching NASCAR and chugging Budweiser. I wonder if they know Budweiser is no longer an American beer?...lol

    FOX is entertainment, not journalism.

It is embarrassing when they forget that and portray themselves as professional unbiased news journalists and correspondents.

They seem to focus on celebrity news presenters, rather than the events themselves.

Don;t forget to hot blondes for for visuals. I kind it funny that the females on FOX are even anti female causes. I watch FOX sometimes after the Daily Show. That is the one FOX thinks is real news.

Fox has more viewers in every time slot than every other cable news network combined.

Why does it bother liberals so much? If you don't like it don't watch it.
I sometimes watch MSNBC just to watch the hosts have melt downs when Conservatives win elections.
Most of the MSNBC hosts and guest are unhinged.
    And CNN is no better
That's why they're both going under.

Everything with you is conservatives vs liberals. I am starting to think you just might be that Fred Bates....realtor extradonaire who had his wife stolen from Pablo in Argentina.....lol. Who was that who exposed you? Are you a paid cheerleader for the tea ballers? If you get those balls off your chin You might see straighter.

Fox aren't exactly known for their unbiased and accurate reporting in the world.

However, the BBC have more or less become the propaganda wing of the Conservative Party, they are so anti UKIP since Farage said he would cut their funding by 90% haha.

    You say...:
“ I am starting to ”Think“ you just might be that Fred Bates.... realtor extraordinaire who had his wife stolen from Pablo in Argentina”

As you say in North America...:
    Close but no cigar...
He is that Fred Bates that got his golden Rolex stolen by Pedro, Pablo & María in the middle of Recoleta...

“ I wonder if they know Budweiser is no longer an American beer?...lol”

May I just add, that, in Europe, Budweiser isn't considered any kind of of beer, at all. Who caress who mass manufactures that cabbage water....

Snob? moi! maybe, but I'd rather drink my own urine. It has more flavour, texture and probably a higher alcohol content too ....
    lol!

Now what was the article about? Oh, hum, some US 'news-person' over-exaggerating.... again.
    Not exactly news, then.
Thank God we have decent beer to get us through such crisises, lol!

Yep, but you have a right wing conservative base class. And that is a hell of an asset to have in todays world.

#15 Don't think for a minute because I mentioned Bud I would drink Bud. Even in America people who enjoy real beer don't consider Bud real beer either.....hence the rise of micro brews......otherwise known as craft beers. I prefer a great IPA (thank you England for it's development) Sam Adams, Newcastle or Bass.......and so many others of flavor.

The pungent odor of guano is nauseating in Malvinas and I am not talking about penguins.

As the majority of winds in the Falklands come from the west the guano is being guffed from Argentina.

Back to topic-if Bill Orally wants to get something out of this, all he has to do is claim that IF he had been on the Islands he would have fought for the Malvinas myth. This will be followed by a medal and blowjob from CFK.

    19.
Indeed, I would rather have a million rednecks watching NASCAR & FOX news and drinking Beer like Bubba J [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYIhNLEzAds] that at least dont vote the government to give them stuff and dont feel like they are owed from society , than one peronista choripanero, drinking box wine and living off social planes and burning the city when there is no money to bribe them.

Saturday night I was at dinner with a Captain from the Falklands war and someone who was very, very close to Nestor Kirchner's when he was younger. (I can't be more specific on this forum).
As with most Argentine's they couldn't give a rats ass about those shitty rocks off our coast. They did bring up the fact that the K's have always been scumbags of the lowest grade.

David Corn is a very good journalist. He's obviously got under Bill O'Reilly's skin. People like O'Reilly should not be called “news figures”. Their only connection with the news is that they happen to inhabit the same planet as Corn.

Thanks imoyaro. I will keep an eye on them, they look tasty. I do like my beer unpasteurized and unfiltered, I think it gives them a bolder flavor. We get a lot of brew fests in the summer and fall. I was in a Western Mass brew pub and they had this amazing double IPA.....served in a snifter.....lol.

O'Reilly did a segment tonight showing the film of the riots in Buenos Aires during his “war zone tenure. Watts, Ferguson, Chicago in 68, Boston busing riots, NY after the cops killed that guy for selling untaxed cigs, et al. They are now all considered war zones. My wife, an Argentine living there chuckled as he called BsAs a ”war zone” because of the riots. I kind of have a different idea what a war one is. I don't deny they was fear of life, ut that does not qualify as a war zone. Funny he never mentioned his quotes and interviews where he said several young soldiers draw m16s on him and he barked at them......periodista no disparar por favor........and they just ran away. And he dragged his cameraman to safety.

I can give tow shits if he lies or not, they all do. The news is not supposed to be about the reporters because all they are suppose to do is report. But now they are brave. They've been embedded and around real bravery too long and they feel slighted.

I am Brian Williams....I am Bill O'Reilly...I am so and so....I've been to war blah blah blah.....for 24 hours blah blah blah.....I am brave.... blah blah blah......I've seen death....blah blah blah.

It reminds me of some senior members of the military that I've met over the years, in Eastern Europe and other countries. Few were for combat.

8 rows of medals from the sternum to the arm. And which campaign was this one General ? “ Oh that one ” comes the reply “ was when I was assigned to Fort Gunk ” or some odd named assignment to camp. “

” And this one ? “ Oh that one is for completing a course in Journalism. ”

    “ I also have a more recent medal for a course in Surfing . . . . ”
