She's been begging for at State visit since she mistakenly canceled the last one. Odumbo should have let the next Prez either USA or Brazil to grant it but he has no idea what he's doing so I am not surprised by this at all.

That would be a bad precedent....by definition, governments need to screw the taxpayer.
Not sure why Obama would want to help Embraer (at the expense of Boeing?) but it makes sense to have closer ties with the more sane country in SA. Even if Dilma is doing this out of desperation, I am glad it is happening, the fact Brazilero is going to hang himself is just icing on the cake...

However it is necessary for the two largest American countries to have, at the very minimum, a functional working relationship. So, I think Dilma is doing the correct thing.

Get real, what in hell does Brazil have that the USA has to spy on in order to collect information ? Just about nothing. The fact is that the US probably knows more about Brazil than Dilma does....
