Perhaps they should consult our MP resident oil expert, Palcitron.

Here we have an example of how things are dealt with properly when problems arrive, which they do often in the drilling process.

Can anyone believe that TDC would even KNOW what to do, never mind DO the right thing?

    No, I didn't think so.

Due caution exercised pre agreed processses and procedures all followed and it would seem transparently revealed for us to read. Tinytimman should take a lesson in how to do things properly.

“Falklands' oil drilling at Isobel Deep suspended ”
    not a surprise, uh???

and what 6 wells are these boludos talking about?
it is just 1 (one) tiny little oil well which these assholes are incapable to drill.

but the real problem here that this 4th class newspaper has clearly omitted, are the risks of contamination when the blowout preventer is damaged.

contamination that should be happening at this moment.

So Paul there is no drilling?

    Or no oil?

    Or no contamination?

Because you seem to be saying all three.

    skippy
clearly you don't know too much about oil industry, eh???
when you start to drill the seabed, you are already altering the ecosystem.
most of all when it is done by a 3rd class english company.

you know what happened in deepwater horizon, no?
    english + technology = monkey + knife

The usual chorus from the Islet of seagull shit seem to be very quiet about this.
Barely started and these chumps have a big problem on their hands.
Is this the old African rig they dragged over there?

    @4
Clearly you have no idea about oil industry, I will give you a clue “ A blowout PREVENTER, is exactly what it says ” A BLOWOUT PREVENTER “ It is to PREVENT a BLOWOUT, do you get it now. They have taken the ” BLOWOUT PREVENTER “ off the conductor pipe to repair and the well has been cemented to stop any ” BLOWOUT “ When they go back in they will attach the ” BLOWOUT PREVENTER ” drill through the cement to finish the well.
    Que boludo

    boludo 8
““ A blowout PREVENTER, is exactly what it says ” A BLOWOUT PREVENTER “ It is to PREVENT a BLOWOUT,”

    first things first.
do you know what the fuck a blow-out preventer is?
    it is a...VALVE, you boludo.
and what happens when a valve fails?
there is a leak, you boludo.

    READ AND LEARN, you thicko.

Oil spill investigators find critical problems in blowout preventer
A House energy panel investigation has found that the blowout preventer that failed to stop a huge oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico had a dead battery in its control pod, leaks in its hydraulic system, a “useless” test version of a key component and a cutting tool that wasn't strong enough to shear through steel joints in the well pipe and stop the flow of oil.

Pauly, no such problems with this blowout valve. New batteries (only used once in transistor radio) from the pakki shop. Leaks all patched up with Radweld from Halfords. As for the cutting tool, its made of good Argentinian carbon steel and we had it sharpened last week with an oilstone.

By the way the rig has been carefully positioned in a current heading away from our island shores and straight to your favourite shitsurfing beach so any oil spill should relieve you of the need to wax your board. Boludo!

Please get back to your Cartonero okupation… you know nothing…

Paulie- do you have to sound as thick as the Arg Foreign Minister all the time?
They have not yet reached to potential oil and gas level in this well - so nothing to leak out-Yet. The Blow Out Preventer was not checked by the Americans who were in charge of it in the Gulf of Mexico- not english people- Americans were operating it. Off the Falklands our Govt insusts on higher standards now -hence the regular checks on the BOP so all know it will work - if ever needed - so now it is being serviced faollowing a faulty show on a check.
Normal standard saftey procedure. Ask the oil companies who operate in European and North sea waters - they will tell you about current day saftey standards.

Paul, you still do not understand do you? YOU STATED “ contamination that should be happening at this moment”
If you remove the BLOWOUT PREVENTER prior to reaching the oil or gas reserves how on earth are you going to cause a blowout? There is no back pressure as the drilling mud will take care of things. Believe it or not they know what pressures they are going to encounter. The BLOWOUT PREVENTER is to counteract any EXTREME PRESSURE that mud weight would not prevent.

@4, 6, 7, 9. So jealous. Just think, if that 'wife'-beating, walking corpse by the name of Nestor hadn't thrown his dolly out of his pram, argieland could be participating. Instead, it's locked out. Can't even get so much as a supply contract. In an attempt to save its arse-face, it tries to prosecute legal companies, incorporated in different jurisdictions, operating in another jurisdiction, over which no bought and paid-for argie 'judge' has any authority.
@4. 'contamination that should be happening at this moment'. Because of your sabotage?
@6. Oh dear. Have you informed all the burrowing sea creatures that they are altering the ecosystem?
@7. See argie train crashes, plane crashes, road crashes.
@9. And? You have evidence that the BOP in the Falklands-located rig has the same fault? Oh no, wait a minute, the BOP failure on the Deepwater Horizon rig wasn't detected. Was there a latam pretend-engineer? Off on its cocaine-snorting break! You should read @10 carefully. He's kidding. Or is he? Down to the beach and try to dig up your oil.

So there is oil and they are drilling?

    But no Argentineans are involved?

So what is Paul talking about then?

    Seems normal to me.

What qualifications in oil recovery techniques does the idiot child/paulcedron have? None? He is just farting through his mouth and the smell is awful!

lt is clear to me that our resident idiot, paulcedron, is having a lend of us all.
He/she/it know nothing about anything & just opposes everything that we say.
With plenty of stupid swear words.
lt could be Argentine, but l have my doubts(& don't really care).
    So:-
lf it looks like a Troll,
    Talks like a Troll,
    Acts like a Troll &
    Smells like a Troll,
There is a more than sporting chance that it IS a Troll.
l, for one, will not answer the dimwit anymore, but will comment in general on anything the idiot blurts out.
    Now to decide:-
ls it an RG Troll?(a normal, common or garden variety troll).
or is it a British Troll?(which would make it a super-troll!).
    ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
