Argentine foreign minister Héctor Timerman submitted on Tuesday his “indeclinable” resignation as an affiliate of AMIA, the Argentine Israel organization that is at the center of an ongoing controversy since 1994, when it suffered Argentina's worst terrorist attack with the loss of 85 lives and over 300 injured in downtown Buenos Aires. 21 years over a simple bombing?

    It's just farcical. Why the government of Argentina keeps butting in is beyond me. Obviously separation of powers is a very fluid concept.

    “simple bombing”

    And with that, the world can collectively stand aghast and your appalling lack of knowledge of the details of this case, and outraged at the impudence you exhibit by sentenciously daring to comment despite such ignorance.

    Ozzers will be Ozzers?

    @2

    They certainly will.

    Try this excellent, even-handed attempt to peer through the murk from the Sydney Morning Herald.

    Yes yes Nostrils.

    The world will be aghast at me but not at a country that can't close the case of a bombing that happen over TWENTY fricking years ago!

    It was one SIMPLE bombing.

    It wasn't a chain of bombings.
    It wasn't a terror campaign.
    It wasn't some random attack on a site that didn't have significance.

    So TWENTY years of investigating hasn't lead to anything..... what are they waiting for?

    You faux outrage on here is endlessly entertaining, however your lack of actual outrage at the failure by your country to solve and prosecute this is morally deplorable.

    Thanks for the link. “The blaze of publicity around his death has cast light into many dark corners.” Certainly is what the case is all about. Here in Chile the media clearly makes the case for murder. All along, the fact that there has been no release of the security camera footage (22 cameras) from the area of the assassination and no clear explanation why there were no security guards at Nisman's apartment building all points to a conspiracy.

    During WWII many Jews collaborated with the Nazis with war crimes, including the murder of their own people. Timerman is just like them.

    I'll bet Israel is overwhelmed with sorrow. What passport does Timfart have? Perhaps Mossad could arrange for it to explode in his face.
