Most immigrants to US now come from China and India displacing Mexico

New data from the U.S. Census Bureau, indicate that China and India have replaced Mexico as the top countries sending immigrants to the United States. Although people from Latin America still dominate the population of legal and undocumented immigrants in the U.S., it is now China and India that send more immigrants to the United States, the data said. Anyone who's intelligent, clean, law biding and with a good work ethic is welcomed in the USA.
Frankly I wish we opened up our immigration system to be more like Canada. They have a great point system and the immigrants are sponsored by the area that needs them based on their talents/education.
We will most likely have a new system when Odumbo leaves. Nobody trusts him to do what is in our best interest so everyone is on a wait and see who's next policy.

@5. Only a matter of time. As of 2011, 4.4% of the UK population was muslim. But the data for the USA is much older. 2007. 0.6%. That was eight years ago. What is it now?

The Canucks based their system on Australia's point system. It's very colour blind but can be used to increase the skills base of immigrants.

As for Muslim population, it is now 0.9%. There was a good graphic on The Economist called 'Faith no more' charting the decline in religion in the US.

About 15% of the US is Hispanic. Asians are 4.43% so they have a long way to go before they level with Hispanics.

But considering the Asians are by far more productive, study more and are less involved in crime than Hispanics and even whites then I can see why these newcomers are healthy for the country and other countries will compete for them over the only burdensome Muslims.
