May 25th, 2015 - 02:09 pm - Link - Report abuse 0In this case no. Chile was the first SA country to have diplomatic relations with The PRC and China has never forgotten that. China has had a remarkable trade access to Chile in not only trade, but investment as well.
The major difference is that Chile has a AAA bond rating and we're not being loan-sharked like Venezuela, Argentina and Brazil.
