Jun 13th, 2015 - 09:07 am - Link - Report abuse 0Maximo is the worst choice for running...
I would be surprised if he ran more than a 20 metres.
Jun 13th, 2015 - 09:18 am - Link - Report abuse 0Fat Max leads an army of fanatics under the La Campora - youth movement. La Campora was a small group of young supporters under Nestor but have been unleashed as a bunch of thugs under CFK and Fat Max. They are not going to disappear when CFK leaves office and that is concerning.
Jun 13th, 2015 - 09:38 am - Link - Report abuse 0Bit of a typo there.....should read' Tosser throw's hat in ring'
Jun 13th, 2015 - 10:11 am - Link - Report abuse 0What a bunch of ass-kissers. Scioli should know better. Cretina has stabbed him in the back more than once and he just keeps running back for more. Grow some you idiot.
Jun 13th, 2015 - 11:41 am - Link - Report abuse 0So husband passes leadership to wife who passes it to son.....if the population vote for this they deserve all they get.
Jun 13th, 2015 - 11:44 am - Link - Report abuse 0I wasn't aware that argieland still needed dogcatchers. Thought Maxie had eaten them all. As Englander says he couldn't catch a dog now.
Jun 13th, 2015 - 11:57 am - Link - Report abuse 0This is to keep FM from prosecution. They have some really screwy laws in Argentina and sitting Pols can't be prosecuted for just about anything.
Jun 13th, 2015 - 11:57 am - Link - Report abuse 0Their future is bleak.
@7 What a smuck Scioli is. He is trying to capture the Kamporas vote.
Jun 13th, 2015 - 12:12 pm - Link - Report abuse 0If by some outlandish reason he won then expect him to have some kind of accident, so the K's are back in full power again.
Maxximus Prattus for VP!
Jun 13th, 2015 - 12:14 pm - Link - Report abuse 0PMSL at the thought of this. But stranger things have happened in The Dark Country, you only have to look at TMBOA herself for the evidence.

Jun 13th, 2015 - 03:00 pm - Link - Report abuse 0First thing to happen will be dismissal of all judges, Campora to be equipped with brown shirts and jackboots. Camps for the opposition and free flights over the Plate? Whadya Think?
I did not think much of Maximo running for office, but after reading the above posts I am convinced he probably has value--if just the possibility of his candidacy unleashes such a reaction!

Jun 14th, 2015 - 02:06 am - Link - Report abuse 0Let's hope not. Maximo is being defended for the opposing media trying to assign ate his character. What positive thing has he accomplished in his 38 years of life wasting the efforts of a tree somewhere providing oxygen for him to breathe?
@16 Enrique
Jun 14th, 2015 - 10:16 am - Link - Report abuse 0There's a saying in sport that tactically you should do whatever your opponent least wants you to do. If the general reaction here to the idea of a President Max is laughter and giddy excitement then you should take that as a bad sign. It's one thing to get a reaction, but remember to read what that reaction indicates.
Will all future Presidents of Argentina have to be called “Kirchner”, like all Roman emperors after Julius Cesar were called “Caesar”.
Jun 14th, 2015 - 12:10 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Just a thought.
@ 16 Enrique Massot
Stick with your first thought, that would overall be better for the people of Argentina, I think.
Do not be swayed by the hysterical amusement you read here, in all seriousness it is hard to describe, even in English, how funny this appears to us, must be a cultural thing.
@ 23 golfcronie
Perhaps a film like “Carry on the Kirchners”, or “The Meaning of Maximo’s Life” by Monty Python.
@26
Jun 14th, 2015 - 01:38 pm - Link - Report abuse 0A film , a good idea, how about A Life of Brian or in Argentina A Life of Max but it would be a short film.

Driving across a post-apocalyptic Argentina (Conqueror’s handiwork), to Stinks “Turnip Dome” remember the little Dwarf!!!!
This is going to be endless fun.
