Nestle says it will destroy more than $50m worth of its hugely popular Maggi noodles, following a ban imposed by India's food safety regulator following tests have found the instant noodles “unsafe and hazardous” and has accused Nestle of failing to comply with food safety laws. Read full article

    @1. It must be hard for you. Having to accept that other countries still have meat. That's only advanced countries mind. Isn't argieland vegetarian now? Grass, nettles. Do you have dandelions? Nettle soup is supposed to be very good. Wheat is only a version of grass. Being as it's argieland, you can make whine from dandelions.

    If this is true the Indian Government are quite right to insist Nestle get the poison out of the food chain.

    This is comparable to the Bhopal disaster that US company United Carbide are still denying and have not paid a US Dollar in compensation.
