    When it comes to signing a deal and committing Uruguay to effectively tell TDC to piss-off, will Vasquez do it?

    I do hope so.

    Paraguay and Uruguay need to open to as many markets as possible. Mercosur has strangled them.

    I think that India is a natural trading partner for Uruguava. With the cost of oceanic transport continuing to feel downward price pressure, all of LatAm can purchase manufactured goods that are of a more appropriate quality point and technological itteration than Europe and North America and Japan are willing to supply.

    India is part of IBSA, even before being a BRICS. Brazil is present in India with Goa. We are part of the Lusophone community and Uruguay have all doors open.

    Oh yeah, your song went down a treat: 1 comment in three years.

    Stop bulling up your damnably run country. If Uruguay has to rely on Brazil we will be fucked, just look at the fiasco with Mercosur and the EU in the last week or so.

    Mercosur are just a bunch of kids who are frightened of TMBOA and need somebody with balls to cut the head off the Medusa.

    @5

    You just don't get it.

    For all you accuse Argentina of being, Europe (including UK) are worse!

    That's why they (Uruguay and Paraguay) don't jump ship so easily. Europeans are damnable folk.
