Falklands Group Reveals Details of the Life of “Veteran of the Malvinas” Alejandro Betts
Alexander Jacob Betts was never exposed to any danger whatsoever from other Falkland Islanders or Britain’s Armed Forces during the 1982 conflict. This has been stated by the Falklands History Group in reference to Betts, who was born in Stanley, and lived in the Islands until the end of the 1982 conflict, but who is now an Argentine citizen. The British did not occupy the Falklands in 1841 without title-their claim went back (settled) to 1765-no Argentines on the Island in 1765 you dimwit.
The British had rights to be on the Island-they did not just turn up from nowhere in 1833 without a valid claim (by then Spain had dropped out and in 1863 saluted the Union Jack in Stanley (not Port Louis which equated to a drop of the claim they had).
Unfortunately, you morons can't tell the difference between Spain and Argentina, two different countries.
Payment of rent-? The Falkland Islanders currently inhabiting FIG housing in the Islands pay their rent.
