Under the heading of “The Peronist pope”, The Economist has a piece on “Francis's balancing act in Latin America” dedicated to the eight day tour of three of the continent's poorest countries, but with the largest percentages of Catholics. But for Francis it is also a delicate balancing act since several current leaders in the region tend to blend the Church's 'option for the poor' with Marxist ideology. Read full article

Does has this guy a respectable backgroud to speach to other how things must be made.....???

Where he lives on...???? a hovel...???
How much is his budget for feeding, dresssing, medcial assistence, travels, etc...???
Does he has poverty line of life anytime in his own life.....??
Does he bring the curch and personal richness to be used to improve the poors life condition....??
Is he commited to sell all the church properties all over the world to put that money to be spent onto the poors....??
Is he commited to demand to whole members of the catholic clergy to comply with their basic precepts of lowliness, poverty and chastity as they have sworn....??
Then, and just then, he would be enabled to speak out loud to other to be solidaty and helping with the others......

By now, he must be quiet and doing his job to make his church very much better, poorer, cleaner and hunble......instead traying to give lessons to others .....

Proof, if proof were needed, that once a Peronista, ALWAYS a Peronista.

That is why The Dark Country is fucked forever unless someone comes along as President who will grasp the nettle and kill about 10,000 or so of the bat-shit mad exponents plus ALL of La Camping It Up scum.

I bet there would be NO Peronistas after that little exercise.

The Dope of a Pope is rapidly showing his real colours. He was correct when he said 'you don't know what you have done' when the other blokes in dresses selected him to be chief delusionist.

The Pope warned against “...personality cults and the eagerness for sole leaderships“.
I'll say it again for anyone with an irony deficiency: The Pope warned against “...personality cults and the eagerness for sole leaderships”.

The above article focuses on the trees but fails to see the forest.
Francisco has simply chosen to assume a worthwhile role during his papacy. He is denouncing the excesses of a capitalism that aims to replace democracy with the power of money.
Most media reports have chosen to ignore Francisco's real message and are instead reporting on banalities.

“...option for the poor was was not ideological but evangelical”. is an accurate description of Romero's beliefs in my opinion, and applies, to a lesser extent perhaps, to Pope Francis as well I believe.

@6. Worthwhile how? If he wanted to be worthwhile he should wander around excommunicating appropriate people. Correa, Morales, Maduro, Rousseff and Kirchner for a start. And make each one a vitandus excommunicate.

The existence of an Argentine Pope has publicly revealed, as never before in the history of Argentina (and the rest of Latin America), the actions of the Catholic nationalist ideas through the Peronism and the Catholic church. These are the more obvious actions from the Catholic Church since 1934 Eucharistic Congress when Argentina twisted its liberal and masonic leadership and headed to fascism.

The Pope is simply a head of a foreign state, the Vatican, concerned about maintaining the privileges of the Catholic Church in Argentina and in South America which Peronism, or (and other populism parties) are custodians.

It's furious anti-capitalism, anti-secularism and anti-communism, undoubtedly inspired in the catholic nationalist ideals and principles, are now more evident than ever. In addition, they are responsible ofr the poverty and economic backwardness of Argentina and the continent.

As Carlos Menem in the past CFK visited him some days before having the new Civil Code passed in the Congress to discuss it and have Poke suggestions and “green-light”.

Nothing good is going to came in the short term....
