The Austral hospital in Buenos Aires released on Wednesday an update on the health of Foreign minister Hector Timerman, revealing that the politician's recovery is on track following surgery on his liver on Tuesday.

“With 24 hours having passed since his operation, we can inform that Foreign minister Héctor Timerman is progressing well and without complications,” the medical report released by the facility, located in Pilar, Buenos Aires, stated.

The short message was released to the media one day after Timerman underwent a procedure to remove a tumor from his liver, which the hospital said at the time was a success.

Timerman was operated on by a team of doctors led by Gustavo Podestá and Sergio Ferraina, accompanied by the minister's personal physician Myriam Levi.

That is never good, is it. I'd like to believe he is in the best hands but doubt it.

Two of my family members died of this type of cancer, one within about six months and the other less than a year after finding out.

So he might finish his mandate before it finishes him.

We can only hope that while he is dying he has as much pain and mither as he has inflicted on the Falklands Islands and Uruguay by his loathsome actions.

I wonder if the yanks gave it to him like they did Chubby!
